These glasses are awesome! The Bose sound can’t be beat! They look stylish and lenses are not too dark. They don’t seem heavy. My only small complaint and the reason for 4 stars is the ear pieces where the speakers are located are a bit too close to the top of my ear and can start hurting a little after a while. I wish they extended back more. Because of that, they tend to side forward sometimes. However, I really do love them. No one can hear the music where you’re wearing them, which is way cool!

These are great to walk/run and not have over ear headphones or ear buds. Very good for podcast/vocals, not so great for music but it's to be expected. Love them! Also got the polarized lenses and work great. Bought some silicone nose pads to help from sliding off, and they came with these little ear hooks. Now they won't slide off.

I was pretty excited to buy these so I can lay out in the pool. Figured I can kill two birds with one stone having the protection of sunglasses and music in my ear. Witch in itself is awesome. I am loving them. I DON'T regret buying them! However, there are a few downsides that can be improved upon. First, the battery life. When your relaxing all day in a pool, or out and about for the day, the last thing you want to do is stop the fun to charge your sunglasses. Lol, you kinda need them. Then you lose your music. Basically your Good time is interrupted early. Second, I noticed the signal is interrupted if you lower your head. For example: laying on your stomach on your float in a pool. I kept having to keep my head up, it hurt my neck and prevented me from really relaxing. Third, I didn't think about being around people when I saw these. When my Fiancee would join me in the pool, we were constantly having to pause the music or lift up the glasses to listen and talk, Lol. (YES, I bought him a pair for Father's Day, too) Last, they could be darker. Before I bought these I had a really dark pair of regular sunglasses that I used outside. These are no where near as dark. So in conclusion these are super cool if you're hanging solo for a little while sitting upright. Other than that, I find myself taking my old pair of dark sunglasses and portable speaker outside with me so after these die or if I want to lay on my stomach in the pool or lounge chair, I'll have an easier alternative.

      Hello,

Great to hear that you love using your Frames, especially by the pool! It sounds like you may be experiencing some Bluetooth connection issues with your phone. Clear the pairing list on the Frames, and your phone, and reconnect together again. This will resolve your issue.

Did you know we have different styled replacable Frames lenses? Check them out at BestBuy - https://bit.ly/39pI2QH.

I wish I knew they made them in prescription frames as well I would have waited. But they're so good I think it will be worth owning both pairs. The sound is excellent and background noise is not a distraction. Quick charging but talk time is @ 3hrs before it starts reducing and sound isn't as crisp. Interferes with other Bluetooth devices in that it dominates even when you don't want it to. I still don't understand the volume increase without disconnecting the call. That could have been made a little simpler but otherwise its better than any headphones and no worries about ear irritation from buds. Lastly do not use at night it distorts the road and all that you see and depth is hard to tell.

OMG these BOSE sunglasses are the Bomb. I got the Alto's. Look like Rayban's. I always have a earpiece in my ear for easy access/constant talking. Now I can just put on my shades and bam I have bluetooth. These are super cool. I'm so happy I was surfing on BESTBUY.COM and seen these. Another cool thing is you can change lenses. (sold separately) a must buy.

The Summary title pretty much sums it up. This is neither a good pair of sunglasses not a good pair of headphones. I had bought it to use for listening to music while running, or while walking to and from work. The large size is too big for me and the small is too small for me, nevertheless I bought the small one so that it doesn't keep slipping off the bridge. The sound quality is okay, but the battery is really poor, it dies out of nowhere - one minute its 80%, the next it's telling you that the battery is low. Needless to say, you'll struggle if you plan to use these for listening to audio in a crowded place. The finishing doesn't have a premium feel either - see the picture attached out of the box. It looks like the product was manually glued together and nobody took the pains of wiping the excess glue away. To summarize I fully get that this product isn't meant to replace a quality pair of headphones or a pair of quality shades, but the value for money simply doesn't justify this price. Paying $200 + taxes for a product that does a bad job in both of the things it's trying to replace is simply not worth it. I really hope this product gets improved over time, because at the moment it's simply not ready for the consumer's dollars.

I happened to come upon this item by complete accident and BOY AM I GLAD I DID! When i tell you all you will NEVER use headphones again on your run and the freedom that this brings - you just have to experience it on your own. Just try them on the next time you are at Best Buy and you will see. The Bose quality of sound carries over into this product. Also I’m including a picture of how bomb they look on.

These glasses are great. They are comfortable, look great, and sound great. Set up was easy with the Bose Connect app. It's a simple way to listen to your music without the use of earbuds or headphones. They don't have the same sound as those items, but they are very good and the fact no one else can hear your music is pretty cool. The volume is easily controlled by turning your head to the left or right. I've had them a month and so far am completely happy with them.

Was a birthday gift to my husband. The fit was perfect (s/m) and the sound quality is superb. If you are expecting the bass to rock the glasses off your face these are not for you. I tried them on and enjoyed listening to a few songs while my husband was talking. I had the volume lower but easily could have turned it up to block out background noise. He loved discovering the feature to answer the phone with the arm of the glasses.

The fit for me was perfect. The sound quality is very clear, but lacks the bass that Bose is known for. I like the fact that I don't have something in my ear canal. The sound does not affect people around you. The product is easy to charge and cut off is simply turning the frame upside down. Make sure you pick the right size frame and style for your face shape.

I’d like to give a pretty in Depth review, after viewing review videos and reading reviews I was very skeptical of purchasing these glasses. Yes the bass is not crazy and powerful however I don’t see how you can add much bass into a sunglass frame that is a inch above your ear I personally don’t think it’s possible but what I can say is what they did with the tiny space they had has definitely blown me away they are crystal clear and give you a full blown 360 degree listening experience like no other. They will trick you and have you looking around when a song pans the audio around. They are absolutely excellent if you work outdoors like myself as long as there’s not too much ambient sound. Phone calls are the most convenient, people tell me I sound clear as if it was directly in my phone. Battery life is good I can get a solid 4 to 4 and a half hours until it tells me to recharge. This is listening at a normal volume and not blasting it which is just right for me. You’re able to listen to your music and also be well aware of your surroundings since there is nothing in your ears. If I had any complaints I would definitely like a little more battery life and more styles for men and women. All in all don’t let reviews scare you these will give you a unique clear fun listening experience just as long as you don’t expect crazy bass from a small speaker that’s the size of a sunglass frame. Mids and highs will impress you.

If you are a beach person these are the best! Really any outside activity they are the best for! We did change out the lenses for another color, I must say the red looks the best! Purchased for a cruise, while boarding the ship this pair was dropped in the case down like 15 flights of stairs into a mop bucket full of water. They never missed a beat! I will never buy another kind of sunglasses! Wonderful sound just amazing!

I’m not a Bose fanboy by any means, the only other Bose product I own is a Bose Solo 5 Soundbar and I only got these shades because I was shopping around for new sunglasses and they seemed like a really cool idea for shades. Well the wiz kids over at the Bose lab hit one out of the park with these. First off, they’re NOT cheaply made like I’ve read in other reviews. The frames are built really good and sturdy but they’re also stylish, they look good on you, and are very inconspicuous (I purchased S/M size). The calls are clear and people can hear you really well. The 1 button controls keep the shades looking very plain and looking like any stylish pair of wayfarer shades. The battery life is pretty good and lasts about 2 hours if you’re playing music at around 50% volume. The quality of sound from these sunglasses is AMAZING! Highs, lows, pretty much everything except Bass. These are not all about that bass, do not expect much bass from these shades. However, the sound quality is equal to the 1st Gen AirPods or better. The best part is that you can rock out to your tunes while still being aware of your surroundings (given that you’re not blasting them at max volume). Bottom line is if you’re on the fence go ahead and buy them, I really feel you will love them.

The item is good for listening to music, the sound is very nice and clear but using the Bose frame for phone calls is not very clear especially in an open space. Also it failed to turn on with a full charge after a while.

I had been wanting these for a long time but they only came in large, so when Bose released the small size I definitely had to buy it. The fit it perfect they look great and the sound is true Bose. It sounds amazing!!! It also is so easy to use it connects to my iPhone with no problem and I love the fact that with a touch of a button I can answer my phone calls.

I was really looking forward to getting these. I enjoy having heavy bass in my music, so for me these don't cut it like my in ear headphones do. While, it is correct that they are not noise cancelling, they they definitely do not make me feel overwhelmed when the device is on full volume. The plus side to the lack of noise cancellation is that I can practice music while wearing these and both hear the instrument I am playing and the track playing on the headphones so for me these work really great. I didn't have any issue with looking down or looking up or having the glasses slip off or having the music somehow randomly turn off. The battery life is definitely not that good, but I haven't played enough to say how long it lasts just straight listening to music. Lenses wise, the film is dark enough to take the edge off the glare.

These glasses are very good for a very specific type of personal audio situations such as podcasts, talk radio, and audio books. They’re also good for certain types of music where low end is not critical. I’ve enjoyed the listening experience with 50’s and 60’s music and classical. The sound is crisp and clear. Anything that needs an thumping bass just doesn’t come through. Having the opportunity to keep an age on ambient sounds is rest when your on a bike. The glasses are comfortable to wear but they are loose on the head so tend to slip off with some types of physical activity. The sunglasses are perfectly functional. Not much to say about the styling. A little bland and middle of the road. The multi-function single button approach is a bit of a nuisance - doesn’t always work reliably. Generally if you have a narrow use for these glasses, this one could be a winner for you.
