Great sound. Can hide it and nor realize where sound is coming from. Great bass. Very portable. Well made. Good battery.

I am a BOSE loyal customer for over 30 years, their sound always surprises me when Ii purchase a new speaker/technology. I LOVE the Smart speakers they support and especially the portability of the BOSE Portable smart speaker. The sound fills the space beautifully and I love th extra control on the app for extra BASS, TREBLE . They pair beautifully for a whole house experience. We use this on our Boat Dock and enjoy great sound everywhere!

I have several Bose portable speakers which are all great speakers but this one is rapidly becoming one of my favorites. The sound quality is amazing and it has great portability. My favorite feature is the built in Alexa and wifi. The only thing I don’t like is this not a biggie but the buttons on top are very tiny so you really need to take a second look to make sure you’re pressing the correct one.

The Portable Smart Speaker offers crisp, clear sound with good bass for its size. For the home, I recommend the Bose Home Speaker 500. It offers more power. Besides the Portable Smart Speaker, you may want to consider the Sonos Move for outdoor use. Bose offers the 360 surround sound. Sonos is a more boxy speaker, but offers a clear powerful sound. I own all three.

Was skeptical of its size and how it would sound but it was super great and crisp audio. The bass is phenomenal and is exactly what I was looking for. Great for trips as it’s not so big and fits in my bag. Overall a great product that I love and use everyday.

Sounds great. The handle is a nice feature. Base is good quality for a small speaker and the range is pretty good. The battery will last a while playing music but if you don’t remember to shut it down completely the light and sensors (voice activated) will drain the battery.

This Bose portable speaker is an amazing devise with compact design, very easy to setup and the sound is divine. Easy connections with my iMac and international radio. Portability and connectivity are another pros for what I like my Bose speaker being so easy to move from place to place and right away ready to use it.

This is the one year update. Great speakers and I highly recommend buying one if you're looking for a bluetooth speaker. Great Bose sound, clear, crisp notes, vibrant base, a well rounded performer! The App is incredibly easy to use.

Excellent speaker that met all my expectations. After receiving an Ipod touch for a gift I was on the lookout for a quality speaker. Bose is the absolute best sounding and long lasting speaker. It is easy to use and portable. I previously had an original ipod sound dock for my ipod classic which I have had for more than 15 years. The sound quality is great and holds a pretty good charge. If you are a music lover like me that listens to music every day this is a good investment. Highly recommend this speaker.

The Bose Portable Smart Speaker is a true gem. Its sleek design, exceptional sound quality, and smart features make it a 5-star choice. It's portable, has voice assistants, and offers long battery life. A top-notch speaker for music lovers!

Bose seems to be trying to compete with the Sonos line or the HomePod. Its trails FAR behind both in audio performance. It gets plenty loud and has heaps of bass. However, it just doesn’t have the clarify or fullness of Apple and Sonos product that it resembles despite being priced higher than both. It CAN operate on battery for a paltry 12 hours, which is an odd addition. Unless you’re ride-or-die for Bose, consider alternatives.

Awesome speaker. Bose got the design right, the sound right, and the embedded technology right. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Google, and Alexa all in the package out of the box. My wife, neighbors, friends, and I enjoy it on the back patio. Only portable speaker you need.

Clear sound. Great bass. Balance between bass, midrange, and highs is excellent. Very portable. Light.

The Bose Portable home speaker is great. I really like the flexibility of it being rechargeable and we can take it anywhere. It connects to bluetooth or wireless. It can also work with either google or alexa. We use more of the amazon products so alexa seems to work the best for us but that is a personal preference. At this point I don't see any significant downside to the speaker. It is somewhat expensive but I really like the sound. Battery life isn't great but since I can easily recharge it overnight it isn't a big deal.

I can't even imagine a review less than 5 stars for anything Bose. Quality, long lasting and the sound I want. I want enough bass and I want clear higher tones. Call me old. I love Bass, but I'm also a musician so clarity throughout in the sound is imperative. This lovely device fills the room with the sweet tones of 70's R+B, current pop, bluegrass from heaven, classic rock, instrumental and religious music and also educates me through many podcasts. The spoken word as well as the music is absolutely quality. Take it from someone who knows Bose, you won't get hosed. ;)

I've been trying to hold out for a portable version of Apple's HomePod but caved and bought this instead. LOVE the sound quality and the bass is unreal. I have contemplated taking this back because of how expensive it is but that sound quality, the ability to use Bluetooth or Airplay, and the fact it has a Google Assistant built in made it so I couldn't let it go...and I have no regrets haha! A DEFINITE must have if you're looking for a portable but equal or better alternative to the HomePod.

Excellent sound. Can feel the bass and high output. Type C charging makes it more user friendly. Good battery backup. Voice assistant is amazing.
