Everyone knows or has heard of the legendary Bose Noise Cancelling headphones and their ability to shut out noise and the world. These QC 35s are the same as the previous model with one LARGE exception.. They have a dedicated button on the bottom of the left earcup to enable Google Assistant! Does it work? Absolutely! I use Google Assistant frequently on my newest Asian-built superphone and the integration is flawless. If you tap the button, it tells you the battery status and if you have any Google notifications. Hold it down and it operates the same as Assistant on your phone, except totally voice controlled. As I had already set my preferences in Google Assistant, asking it to tell you the news causes it to go through all my preselected channels. Same with weather and others. Most cool is the ability to just play whatever you want through Google Play Music! Too cool! Just ask to hear whatever your in the mood for, and there it is in all it's Bose QuietComfort glory! Don't use Google Assistant? Then the button can be assigned through the Bose Connect App to set the level of noise reduction. Have a fruity type of phone? You can still use the multi button on the right earcup to summon Siri! As I said, as far as the headphones themselves, they seem to have not changed with the exception of that action button, which is a good thing. The headband is soft alcantara material and the earcups are super soft. I wore these for several hours with no discomfort at all. I have a set of Bose in-ear noise cancelling headphones that I used on a 17 hour other side of the world flight and they performed outstandingly with just a little pressure on my ears. Can't wait to try these on an extended flight to drown out the constant hum of engine noise and passenger infused noise. As far as the noise cancellation so far on these is excellent! And the musicality is wonderful with a warm, not overly done sound. All the music that I tried sounded fantastic and mostly neutral. If you are looking for noise cancelling headphones, and are fully engaged with Google Assistant, there is not a better buy out there right now! Put these on and the noisy world just goes away! But you can still check the weather without having to lift your phone! How cool is that? Good Shopping!

Google Assistant integration takes these over the

OVERALL OPINION: These headphones are amazing! I might have been perfectly satisfied with the first version of the QC35s, but I luckily stumbled on the second generation which includes the Google Assistant integration. I initially thought it would be a small bonus, but I totally underestimated how powerful and convenient this could be. It's more than just a trigger for voice commands. It's a surprisingly flawless implementation that allows Google Assistant to turn you into much more productive multi-tasker. GOOGLE ASSISTANT VOICE COMMANDS: You start by connecting the headphones to your phone via the 'Bose Connect' app. Now, all you have to do is press and hold the button on the left side and speak your voice command. This is a lot easier and less tedious than having to precede every command with "OK Google", but this isn't even the best part of this integration. GOOGLE ASSISTANT NOTIFICATIONS: The best feature of the Google Assistant integration is the ability to receive voice notifications! Whenever you receive a notification on your phone, it is automatically spoken to you on your headphones. When text messages are received, not only can you have the message read to you with a single click of the left button, but you're also presented with an immediate opportunity to send a voice-to-text response by holding the left button while speaking. This allows you to multitask like no other. The Bose Connect app allows you to choose between temporarily pausing your audio during the notification (so you don't miss a second of that podcast you were listening to) or just reducing its volume while the notification is played. You can double press the left button to shut Google Assistant up mid-notification if you ever wish to as well. It's an excellent experience. I tried smartwatches in the past, but they never seemed to deliver a convenience above and beyond what a phone could do on its own. The hands-free and vision-free experience these headphones enable fills the void we all hoped smartwatches would. CONNECTING TO TWO DEVICES: Speaking of multitasking, these headphones can be connected to two devices at a time without the fumbling and confusion that comes along with other Bluetooth headphones offering similar functionality. I’ve got mine connected to my Android phone and my Windows PC. Start playing media from either device and it’s streamed right to your headphones. To play from the opposite device, just pause the current media on the first device and then play the new media on the second device. It’s that simple. But to receive the notifications I mentioned, your current connection must be with your phone. FIT, FORM, & FUNCTION: Lastly, you might be wondering how these headphones perform as headphones. The answer is great! Check out all the reviews of the first generation for the details as I don’t think much has changed there. They’re very comfortable, lightweight, and they don’t make your ears sweat or hurt over long periods of continual usage. I explained the left button for interacting with Google Assistant in depth, but the media controls on the right are just as useful and intuitive. Double-click the play/pause button to skip to the next track and triple-click it to go back a track. The wireless range, the sound quality, and the battery life (20 hours) is all top notch for such a portable package. I haven’t tested the mic quality during a call yet, but even if it’s not the greatest, this headset has already exceeded my expectations in so many ways - I couldn’t be happier with the design.

I looked at other NC headphones and for the price the Bose are the best of all of them (Beats, JBL, Sony). I also like the understated design of these also but I know it is mainly preference. If you like large logos JBL is the one to get. The cans are very comfortable to wear (14 hr flight) and cover all the ear at least for me. I guess depends on how large your ears are. The battery with NC lasted for me practically the whole flight. It can also be used wired if needed. The only gripe is for the price I wished they also included airplane adapter which I'm sure many people would use. To my ears the sound quality is very good. Clear, crisp with the right about of base (at least with the music I listen to). Yeah, they are pricey but I think it is totally worth it.

    Amazing sound quality

Bose is Boss. I had my eyes on this headphones when I saw it first on BestBuy. I really wanted to try it and see how does it sound. My current headphones are great but it lacks the comfort for long hours. Being music lover and using it during day time at work was my priority. I loved this headphones when I first put them on. Very comfortable and hugging. Lets look at some of the good and bad about this product. The Good: 1. Beautiful looking phones. I like them in black as it has amazing finish. 2. Easy to setup, get the Bose connect app and sets up very fast and also downloaded some software for phone. 3. Goggle assists is the best feature on this headphones. Fun to use it with headphones on. 3. Sound quality is really really good. Nice and thin sound. 4. Cancels the noise nicely. It creates a vacuum to cancel all static voice frequencies. 5. Operation buttons are placed well on headphones. On left, there is noise cancellation and on right its On/Off and playback controls. 6. Wore it for long time and no issues at all. No headache or ear pain. 7. Taking and making calls were very easy. Sound was very clear and no lag between communication. The Bad: 1. The jacks on cable provided are different, thinner one is for headphone. Every time I need to check if thats the one I need to plug. But this is only if you are not using with bluetooth audio device. 2. R and L are written inside the headphones, makes it little bit difficult to find. 3. Vacuum generated is very strong, some people may not like as you may feel that its pulling things from ears. 4. Not meant for big ears. If your ears are taller than 3" then this is not for you. 5. People around you can hear the music if its on full volume. Not to be used at work with high volume. Yes, this is really a great product. Looks great, sounds great and feels great. Definitely recommended.

These headphones are like no others that ive ever had. Bose really knows how to step it up in quality. They are really comfortable and not to heavy. They cover the entire ear and the noise cancelling is like no other. We had a big fan blowing and when I clicked the button the noise completely stopped and the music was Crystal clear! I love that these came with a protective case and extra pockets for longer cords if needed. The headset adjusts to fit your ears and head perfectly. When the music plays that's all you hear, no unwanted noises in the background, just the beats and song that you're playing. I also love the fact that I can have a phone call come through and hear everything clear while keeping my hands free to do what I need around the house. These headphones also have Google assistant which is another plus! I totally recommend these to music lovers like myself! Absolutely fantastic.

    A Smarter Headphone

I've had this headphone for about a week and a half, but I've had the Bose QC15s for many years now. After upgrading to the QC35 IIs, I'm happy with the purchase. The sound is excellent, but it's not as vibrant or exciting as some other wired headphones I've used or own. However, the comfort, ease of use, and technological capabilities of these headphones are pretty close to class-leading. Adaptive Noise Cancelling is as good as you'd expect from Bose (very capable of canceling low-frequency sounds like airplanes—I just wore them for the duration of two cross-country flights this week), and they're light and comfortable. ANC provides a little bit of "ear pressure," but I actually prefer the lower setting for quieter environments since that takes care of the issue. That's mostly a comment, though, and not a flaw. In loud environments, I can't feel the ear pressure at all. While the headphones' sound and noise cancelling quality are the most important features, the headphone is truly the smartest item in its class that I've ever tried. The Google Assistant is very useful on iPhone (and I can only imagine how useful it would be on Android), and it works via a separate Bluetooth Low Energy connection to a smartphone that maintains functionality when connected to a computer or other bluetooth audio source. One feature that's not often mentioned is the ability to maintain (at least) two simultaneous Bluetooth connections to audio sources; for instance, if I'm listening to my computer and want to switch to a smartphone, I simply pause the music on one device and start playing from the other device. There's no reconnecting or switching devices, and the source switches instantly. Battery life is good, and they charge very quickly. I haven't had any problems with the battery in the last week and a half. Overall, I'd say they're a headphone that performs well in their price class. The smart features and Google Assistant connectivity make them a powerful mobile companion, and I've been happy with the sound and ANC. The sound tuning isn't my favorite—I'm not dancing in the streets, but it's evenly tuned and extremely clear. With the features and the comfort, it's the completely package. Definitely recommended.

I’m an Apple user and was very tempted to buy the AirPod Max, but after much research I knew these Bose headphones would be better. And I am so happy I made that choice. These are super comfortable to have on for hours, they hold a charge for a long period of time, the noise cancellation is great, but if you’re in a quiet place where you don’t need that feature, you’re able to easily turn it off. Initially, I got them for working out purposes but I loved the quality so much I use them for every day life. My husband ended up getting the Max and although they are nice, my Bose beats them!

    Best noice cancelling headphone!!

I have been using these headphones for little over a week now and I must say that these are one of the best noice cancelling headphones. Like the fact that it has different levels of noice cancelling. If you dont want to get yelled at by your wife...I suggest using low level noice cancelling, because keeping it on high will completely block out the noice. Battery life is simple amazing. I probably had to charge is once since I got it. Another cool feature that this head phones has is the ability to talk to SIRI or Google assistant. I havent used it much but can see a use for it. I usually dont like having over the head headphones when I am working out at the gym but I must say this has a great fit and is very comfortable even for long periods. The only complain I have about this headphones is the design. When you are resting them on your shoulder to talk to someone, the ear cups dont fold to rest on your shoulder. Not sure if I got a faulty one because if I wear it the opposite way ie left ear on right and right ear on left, thats when the cups fold. Hopefully the uploaded pictures explain it better. Other than this....I just love this headphones and would highly recommend it.

I do a great deal of travel for work and personal time off. The few times I have flown using just regular over the ear and ear buds the jet engines from plane are just too loud and my volume on both the device and headphones were maxed out. I just could not hear anything. However, all of that is different. Yes the Bose Q35 are pricey but are worth every penny. The battery life is long, the bluetooth signal is strong, it is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and most important the noise cancellation technology is amazing. I have used my Q35 headphones while flying on trips and the audio quality is unbelievable and not to forget the jet engine noise was blocked by the noise cancellation provide by the headphones. I was extremely impressed. I know that there are other headphones to choose from but the Q35II won overall and thats why I own them. I love them. The only thing that I do not like is there are no color options except for black or silver.

I've wanted a pair of Bose noise-cancelling headphones for several years. I kept putting off the purchase because, let's be honest, they aren't cheap! But as I looked at a heavy travel schedule and knew I would be spending several hours in airplanes, I finally pulled the trigger and bought the Bluetooth version. WOW! I wish I had bought these years ago! Put them on, flip the switch and all of the noise just melts away. It made my travel SO much more enjoyable and comfortable. I could watch a movie without having the constant background hum of airplane noise, and I could turn on some music - softly - to help me sleep. Best of all, I could wear them for hours without having any soreness in my ears like when i used ear buds. The battery life is great. On one trip, I had them on a little over 6 hours, and the battery message said it still had "about 8 hours" left. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I've had a lot of different kinds of headphones and these are 1000 times better than any others I've tried. Not only do they sound amazing (this is something you have to hear for yourself), but they are very light and extremely comfortable. They feel like high quality headphone too (as they should at this price). I originally bought Beats and returned them because they were so uncomfortable that I couldn't wear them for more than 30 minutes. The active noise cancelling feature is so cool. When I let my kids try that out, the look on their face was priceless. The Bose cost a lot more than I want to spend on headphones, but I do not regret the purchase at all.

I was in the market for a set of wireless over-the-ear headphones with ANC. I researched several brands and models and decided to give the Bose QC 35 II a try. The headphones are built well and are very light weight. The padding on the head band is soft and comfortable. The ear cups are made of memory foam and covered in synthetic leather. The volume and multi function control buttons are easy to access. As for noise cancellation and sound quality these headphones are top notch. If you are looking for a nice set of wireless ANC headphones give the Bose a try. You won't be disappointed.

I've had the QC3 headphones since they come out. I really liked them and still work great. My iPhone 7 Plus doesn't have a headphone jack, which really interested me. Not having a cord to worry about tangling up is very helpful. I'm on call and use my work cell (Samsung S8+ currently). Having freedom to work without hold the phone or the cord being the way makes things easier. * I haven't used the Google Assistant feature yet * Great sound even with it being Bluetooth vs cord * Very comfortable to wear for long periods * Buttons/controls work and easy to use while wearing

I loved my old QC35s but they finally stopped working after 5 years of heavy use due to battery I think leaked. I bought these new QC35 IIs and couldn’t be happier!! The wireless works great and for long periods of time, they charge quickly and have a cable in case the battery dies. The sound quality is fantastic, the noise canceling is even better than my old ones, and they are still the most comfortable headset on the market...from someone who uses these up to 10 hours at a time.

These headphones are great. They are extremely comfortable being over the ear, and have a good amount of cushion. I used these in Bluetooth mode on an 11 hour flight and they made it all the way through. I’ve had other Bose headphones and these have the quality you can expect from Bose products. The noise cancelling was also great. Referencing my 11 hour flight, it drowned out the noise from the engine, and crying babies.

Bose QC35 II vs. Sony vs. Skullcandy

I tried 3 different headphones (actually purchased 2) before finally choosing the most AMAZING headphones ever, the Bose QC35 II Noise Cancelling headphones. First, I bought the Bose SoundSport Free wireless headphones. Comfortable, good sound quality, but with connection issues. Left earbud kept disconnecting. Returned. I exchanged those for the Skulkcandy Crush Wireless. BEST bass headphones you will ever have. I am a bass fan and bass is on top of my list when buying headphones. BUT, sound quality is not the best. It sounds like a $75-$100 hedphones but with a LOT of bass. Great for watching movies. Sometimes adding too much bass to a song alters the original quality and doesn’t sound good. Returned. In the store; I tried the Sony 1000X mkII. I did some research and found out this Sony is the closest competition to the Bose QC35 II. It has a little bit more bass than the QC35 II and sounds a little bit better than the Skullcandy Crush Wireless (but with less bass than Skullcandy). Now, in regards to sound quality, Bose QC35 II WON. I mean, you have to try it yourself and really hear the difference between those headphones for you to experience the quality of Bose. The Bose QC 35 II sounds like each instrument has its own speaker and they sound separately from all other instruments (voice, trumpets, guitars, etc) all separate. In other words, it doesn’t sound like it’s all mixed down. I don’t know if I am explaining it correctly but that’s what I feel. Bass is not bad AT ALL like I’ve been reading from other comments. It’s perfect depending on the song you are listening to. But Bass is definitely there. Comfort wise, I will be very simple: you feel like you are not wearing ANYTHING. It doesn’t hurt, doesn’t bother. It is just SO soft. Oh I forgot, sound is little reverb so it feels like a mini concert. Love that!! Before you buy, connect your phone to the headphones via Bluetooth in the store using the samples they have on display. Start with the Sony 1000X mkII then go to the Bose QC35 II and you will remember me. I had to sacrifice some bass for the quality of Bose. I don’t regret it even 1% (even though I am a big bass fan). To conclude, if you want SO MUCH bass but don’t care about audio quality (clear voice and instruments), go with the Skullcandy Crush Wireless. If you want amazing sound quality, reverb, comfort and showing off you have a Bose, go with the Bose. It’s either good bass or spectacular sound quality. You make the choice. Good luck!!

I've had these headphones for several months now and so far they have met my expectations or exceeded them. - The sound quality is good for the price from my experience with headphones. - I can wear them for several hours at a time without any trouble. - Battery life is excellent, I often only have to charge them every few days depending on how much I use them in a certain period (about 5 hours of use each day). - Build quality is good and doesn't feel cheap, no troubles at all in the last few months that I've had them. Overall verdict: excellent product and I would recommend them to those seeking a good pair of headphones in it's price range.
