Set up easy Download a app and within minutes you’re good to go
the Alexa built in to the sound bar compliments It very well controlling volume etc.
The impressive thing is even when the volume is loud playing a movie or jamming to your favorite song you can just normally speak at a normal level and the response is very pleasing and on point.
The sound bar itself sounds amazing it has two woofers on the back of the sound bar that produces amazing death and bass and the amazing sound you expect from any Bose products.
If you add the subwoofer which is worth the money it is truly an amazing sound I’m able to sit in my living room and feel the bass and experience such a clear sound Is simply priceless.
I have purchased the arctic white version of the sound bar it looks amazing the equality and feel of the sound bar is on point.

I didn't have a choice of 4.5 stars so I went higher rather than lower because the overall performance is excellent. However, there are a few caveats. While I have read reviews that say it performs well even without the sub woofer, I would have to disagree. In fact, the system only really comes into being a high performance system when you add the sub and the 700 satellites for the rear. This makes it a much more expensive system but the same is true for the Sonos Arc system and I first tried the Sonos Arc system and I did not think it sounded as good.
I used this with a new Samsung 65" Frame TV and there were issues with the setup that bear mentioning. The Samsung has an HDMI/eArc port for use with a sound system. It is very sensitive to the cable being used (it took a while to discover this problem with calls to Bose and Samsung pointing fingers at each other and not providing a solution). The Samsung software wants an HDMI 2.1 cable if you have anything else plugged into another HDMI port on the TV (in my case a Portal TV). It interferes with the TV's ability to properly detect the sound bar and thus no HDMI option appears when setting up sound, only Bluetooth, internal speakers and Optical. It would occasionally provide a connection and then the connection would disappear. After I put all HDMI 2.1 cables on my TV for the sound bar, the Portal TV and the Cable company box the problem vanished. Best Buy did not have the right cables so I purchased them on Amazon (also much less expensive). The cables I used are the Zeskit Maya 8K 48GB for $19.95.
I am very technically knowledgeable but it took a lot of time and effort to find this solution. Additionally, I was not able to get Alexa to work on it. I will probably not bother to trouble shoot this issue because the Samsung TV offers Alexa as does the Portal TV and I just don't need 3 devices all running Alexa right next to each other. The Samsung also offers Bixby which is a better fit for TV use.
The bottom line is that as both a music system and a TV 5.1 system, when used with the other components it is an excellent though expensive sound system. Yes, you could do better with audiophile discreet components but you would have a far more complex setup and if your significant other is like mine, she would not like the appearance of speakers all over the living room and dominating the aesthetics. Fortunately, the rear satellite speakers are slim and very small and pretty much disappear into the background.

Setup is easy, sound clarity is awesome. Built in Alexa does it’s magic to the connected devices- flawless integration with Samsung tv though HDMI.
Love it’s built quality and sound. Will add a bass module in some time but even without it it works perfect.

This one got my purchase because of the sound that comes out of it is in a league of its own! Very slim and barely noticeable. Paired with Bose’s subwoofer, this think will bring your house/ apartment down and ruin your ear drums! Call me old school if you must but was thrilled it comes with a remote. Think its silly other sound bars are phone only. With the Bose you have both! The range on remote and phone is great! No negatives to report so far!

I am using the Bose 700 sound bar as a PC speaker, I am also using the Bose 700 subwoofer which in my opinion is a must have. I am using a LG OLED 48" TV as my PC monitor. I know this is overkill for a PC system but I also watch movies in my man cave. I also auditioned the Sonos ARC sound bar and Sonos subwoofer. I did not need nor do I care about ATMOS at this time. The audio quality is crisp and clear for PC gaming and movie watching and music listening is also great.

This thing can throw sound around like crazy. Sounds coming from places where there are no speakers. Clarity is 110%. I have mine mounted under my TV. That way, no matter which way I turn my TV (with a full motion mount), the sound turns with it.
Alexa gripes: I can't use the Alexa app since my daughter's name is Alexa. It keeps activating it. The soundbar won't let you change the wake name to something else like other Alexa units will. Also, you can't add this speaker to any Alexa multi-room audio groups.

The sound quality from Bose 700 series soundbar is phenomenal. You'll be amazed by how much power is packed inside this equipment. Its no question if you get this big boy toy you have to add the bass module 700.

Great sounding sound bar. Don’t have surround speakers or woofer. Needed something that didn’t blast you out of the house. Maybe a little to expensive but what isn’t.

it solved my problem of not being able to listen to the dialogue on TV. everything sounds crisp and nice with no distortion. my only complaint is that the bass is not deep. this is really designed to be matched to its subwoofer for the full effect. but the quality of the unit is such that i am going to get the subwoofer once i finish paying for it. i rather have the whole pair so it gives me the whole Bose effect that i love. the only thing i am deciding now is if i should get the 500 subwoofer or the 700. i live in a condo and. dont want to bother the neigbors.

This was the first soundbar I actually tried out so every other one I listened to, I tried to compare to this one. That being said, despite it being the most expensive, it definitely was worth the price! From the sleek design to the excellent sound that’s not only clear but also very loud. Highly recommend.

Sound is exactly what I expected; great surround, mid-range and high frequency but lacking low frequency. Reviews I had read from various sources prior to purchasing concerning the 700 stated this. Will match up with a worthy sub woofer at a later date.

For the last 3 years I’ve wanted a Bose Soundbar, ever since hearing it in the store. 3 years ago it was the Bose “600” and this year they came out with the Bose “700”. For the money spent, it’s a great investment. Unfortunately I was unable to purchase the subwoofer with it due to the cost. (Planning on getting that this year) But the soundbar alone is loud enough to hear throughout the entire house. Highly recommended!

This Bose Soundbar provides a great audio experience. The soundbar produces great audio quality with a lot of bass. The size of the soundbar is actually deceiving as compared to the sound it produces.
The design is slick and is very minimal. The soundbar easily fills a 300-400 sq ft room. I highly recommend the Bose 700 for anyone looking for a great sound experience and doesn't want to compromise on sound quality.
