This is by far the best soundbar in the market, whether you live in an apartment home or your own private town home, this offers best audio for a soundbar. Music is crisp and clear, vocals are so clear that you will be mesmerized listening to your favorite songs. Movie watching is itself an experience that should be felt rather explained, It has awesome bass effect, and a need for separate bass unit is unnecessary. Very musical with great frequency range! There are times that some speech gets just a little pinched in the mid range, but it's a soundbar, this is often par for the course... and it's very minor on the Bose. The unit is SUPER-sleek and low-profile, so I couldn't imagine a scenario where you couldn't set it up right in front of or under your TV (mine is under my Vizio P65, which is an AMAZING TV -though they call it a display bc of no built in tuner- and I HIGHLY recommend... read about it... seriously, it's not just me)...anyway, back to the Soundtouch... it is a very simple design, with no read out (other than some LED lights), and doesn't have a vast array of inputs. I would recommend with a TV that has HDMI ARC, as mine does... then you just hook everything up to the TV and use a single cable to ARC to the Soundtouch, voila! Bottom line, Bose just makes good stuff. This unit pairs perfectly with the Acoustimass 300 Sub and I couldn't be happier. It IS expensive, but I always hear that Bose customer service is also outstanding, though I have never had any issue out of any Bose product I have owned, so I wouldn't know.

The speaker itself combined with the AM300 sounds great, but the downfall with it is the soundtouch app. Constantly can not find speaker and limited tuning ability.

Kind of pricy for a sound bar. But it does sound really good. Well worth it. Set up was a bit difficult as it did not pair with the bass module very well.

I have never bought an expensive soundbar before so was skeptical and only bought the soundbar and not the subwoofer and satellite speakers that go with it which costs another 1000 bucks. The day after buying the soundbar i purchased the satellite speakers and then the next day i bought the subwoofer as well. Bose sound quality speaks for itself, a bit pricey for full set but 1000% worth if you looking for a small living room setup.

This was decently worth the money. I got the subwoofer along with it, easy set up and fenomenal sound.

Great sound that enhances the tv watching but we use it more with Bluetooth for listening to music.

It is a great looking soundbar.The sound that comes out of it is amazing .Simple to install

Aesthetics - one of the best and sleek looking soundbar, great build material and craftmanship. Performance - I am not a nerdtech sound... but movies and music sound better, it gets loud if u want to, but expect a visit from your neighbors... Soundtouch app is a great app, u can adjust everything from ur tablet or phone... Set-up is a little difficult, I have an LG OLED55b6 tv so I use hdmi arc as recommended than connecting to optical output. I have it hdmi2, my cable box to tv output is hdmi3, so when u try to connect them, use ur tv remote then press home button and choose hdmi2... wait for the connection status to appear then u will see hdmi3, once u press hdmi3 and u hear the sound, that means u are connected to ur soundbar. Pls turn off ur tv's speaker on the sound set-up and use hdmi source. U also see a + or - on the tv when u turn up/down volume this means ur soundbar is working. I am pleased with my purchase. Will get the subwoofer later this year.

In the search for a sound-bar, sub-woofer and rear wireless speakers for my new 75 inch TV, my local Best Buy rep recommended a sound-bar and related speakers from Definitive Technology. However, the sound was ok for music and awful for the TV and movies, plus the rear speakers were actually not compatible with the Sound-Bar. Frustrated, I returned the Definitive to the store and started again. I listened to the Samsung and Bose systems and decided on the Bose SoundTouch Sound-bar, Accoustimass Sub-Woofer and the SoundTouch rear speakers. I could not be happier - the room is filled with crystal clear sound at all volume levels, streaming music sound is mind-blowing and best of all - the dogs bark at the sound coming from the rear speakers and my children ask us to turn the volume down! The tables have been firmly turned in our house! Don't look further than Bose, in my opinion.

I did a lot of research before making the decision to go with this. It seemed so expensive so I kept looking for a better solution but I kept going back to this. I only installed the bar, not the sub-woofer or satellite speakers (not a fan of surround-sound). The sound is wonderful. It's very clear, not distorted at all, and there's sufficient base from just the bar. The sound bar is very sturdy and solidly built with a nice gorilla-glass type of top. The two-speaker surround sound works very well too. Blue-tooth is very easy to initialize. The set-up was very unique using a provided sensor that you move around the room. There does seem to be confusion on setting these up though. The trick to it is to be sure you have the sound bar set on the correct input. This step has been overlooked in the instructions. Placement of the sound bar affects the amount of base you'll sense.

I love my Bose soundtouch 300 it is wonderful and always work the sound touch preset make everything such as if you want to watch TV like a game but want to listen to music it lets you do that also the bass from the soundbar is really good for it site I say if you have an apartment or a small living room it would definitely be enough if you have a very large then you might want to get the acoustimass from Bose I think most areas will be fine with the sound but if you're one of those people that like to get the police called on you then you can get the subwoofer for a smaller area but I say for an apartment if he don't want those cops showing up and also for condos to I recommend just the sound bar or your neighbors or anyone within 30 feet or a little bit more will feel like they're in the movie also but I would say the sound bar is totally worth the money
