Customers love the sound quality and ease of use of these wireless surround speakers, praising their small size and wireless convenience. However, some customers found the volume to be too low and the price to be high for what they offer. Concerns were also raised regarding the bulkiness of the power cords.

I am using these with a Soundbar 700 and Bass Module 700 and the sound is indistinguishable from wired systems I've used in the past. Setup was fairly easy with the iPhone app, but some assembly is required. The speakers are only sort-of wireless, in the sense that each has a unit that allows it connect to the soundbar and provides power. Each speaker needs an electric outlet, but the wires from the "receiver" unit (one for each speaker) that's in-line with the power cord are long and unobtrusive enough that placement isn't difficult.

I bought this Open box and they are perfect. No problems so far. I will say that a pair are good for a small to medium size room & you'll need more if the room is bigger. Connected easily to my Bose soundbar 600 (although I had to go online to find directions for how to connect the two). Also I had no problems with the volume of the speakers. They were just right for me. But I have also realized that the sound will depend on what's coming out of the TV.

Great pick-up. Works great with SoundTouch 300. Easy setup. Small enough to hide. Where I was able to place them, the “power brick” is hidden from view.
People have to remember that you will not always have surround sound coming from your system. It will depend on the output of the tv show or movie on whether or not you’ll get the surround sound. A lot of your older tv shows or movies are mono so there will be no surround sound. Just sound from the bar. I really like it. Works for me. Sound is best with music. I would recommend product.

I was very hesitant purchasing these. Figured my soundbar and subwoofer would suffice. I finally gave in to give these a try. So happy I did! The surround sound is incredible. Makes watching tv/movies a lot more pleasurable experience. Also love how small these speakers are. Was able to place them in discreet locations without interrupting my room aesthetic.

I purchased the surround speakers to add to the Soundbar 500 and Bass Module 500 system I already had on the TV. They add a great new dimension to the sound that we never had before. Easy to assemble following the included instructions then just plug them in. Installation was easy. The Bose Music App finds them and makes the wireless connection to the rest of the system then use the App to adjust the volume to your preference.
My only disappointment was trying to figure out how to attach them to a free standing speaker stand. Either a Bose stand or a third party stand. Bose sells a free standing Universal speaker stand but the information they provide is not convincing enough to me that they will work with these speakers. Bose also sells wall mounts but I didn't want them on the walls. Since the speakers have no mounting holes or slots except to accommodate the Bose wall mounts, there is no visibly easy way to attach them to a stand. Right now they are sitting on end tables and sound great.
Machine Gunfire during movies tore down my wall !!

I have the Bose SoundTouch 300 soundbar and the Bose BM 500. While the system is already good, I still miss the surround sound of movies like bird chirping, flying bullets or those thrilling musical scores coming from the rear speakers of my previous HT which is a traditional 5.1 setup. Now that I got these bad boys, the Bose Wireless Surround Speakers, audio definition of my movies and TV shows are now awesomely satisfying.
The Bose Wireless Surround Speaker sounds crisps and brutal when watching surround encoded movies. It picks up the thrilling audio effects and amplify it more. Sounds clearer and more detailed compared to all 5.1 systems I've owned. Its easy to pair to the soundbar, but don't just stop there during the initial setup. Download and install the soundtouch app, in my case its installed in my laptop. The app allows me to control the loudness of the surround speakers. I set mine to 60 percent of the maximum volume. I can now hear sound effects that was so vague when played on my other 5.1 home theater.

Well, these are a nice addition, if you are trying to create some surround sound with Bose. However, I do feel they are overpriced if you are paying more for the premium name of Bose. These speakers do require a wire to be connected from the speakers to a small receiver that connects wireless to the sound bar, etc.

The speakers are surprisingly full in sound range, and with a little configuration tweaking in the smart device app you can really get your ideal surround setup. The auto adjustment system for the sound bar didn’t get it right for my room, but the application made it easy to change real time. The wireless speakers have a power cord to the module box which is about 4x8x2.5” and then a standard speaker wire with Bose proprietary plug that runs from the module box to the speaker itself. So wireless is only accurate in that you do not need a wire from the front of the room to the back. You do need a power cord and a speaker wire to each individual speaker. So plan accordingly, but do know the sound enhancement with the wireless rear speakers does make it worth the addition. In a sparsely furnished room with bare walls you probably would do fine with sound bar alone, but to get the best surround effect these babies are the bees knees.

These are great surround sound speakers. Keep in mind that they only are going to work on surround sound movies. I tested mine on the movie Taken and the sound was awesome from these small speakers. I wanted speakers that were wireless and small. I had the Geek Squad set them up. Evan did a fantastic job.

I had few issues initially, these speakers were not making sound initially but I kept playing with the Bose APP turning speakers on and off and finally got it working, once it started working, WOW what a soundstage everything together produces, it brought soundbar 900 to life, I don’t want to spend too much money for Surround Speaker 700, there is a possibility that Bose might come up with a new surround speaker 900 with upfiring speakers in the future.
What I did to make it work.
Turned off Subwoofer
Turned off rear speakers
Turned on surround speakers first
Turned on Bas module next.
So if you follow this sequence your rear speakers will produce sound.

I had a soundbar bose 500 that comes with this rear speakers, i was satisfied when i play music with the sound bar but not immersive when i watch movies, the rear speaker role is only for surround sound like echo, rain, etc. the way soundbar set up usually goes, not unless you have option for dual stereo option for rear, i end up buying a receiver Bose Accoustimass with sony 1080 that blows my brains out. I would recommend this if you like separations from the main soundbar. Price is a bit expensive, ofcourse your buying the name bose.

I love these surround sound speakers. Sounds crisp and once connected works great! Only complaint is that the app is a bit confusing and can be a little confusing to initially connect but overall works great! Definitely works great with sound bar and subwoofer.

Easy Set up. Great sound. I'm not sure we would have gotten these if we didn't get them as an open box. They are good speakers. Offer subtle sounds for 5.1 audio. It's actually quite amazing. This is my second surround sound system. My first was a vizio. This definitely blows Vizio out of the water especially if you buy the entire system.

I have paired this speakers with the Bose 900 Soundbar and they work great. It is quite amazing how much sound comes from these little speakers. You can adjust the volume on these with the Bose app. If I'm watching football, it sounds like the crowd is in my living room. I sometimes have to lower them because it's too loud. These do a great job with music and movies.

I read a lot of mixed reviews on these speakers and went back and forth on them for MONTHS. I really didn’t want to waste the money. I ended up getting them and I was blown away! I’m not a paid endorser or anything I’m giving you my 100% honest review. These are well worth the money, if you are considering them don’t be afraid to get them. I’m super happy with mine. They work great with movies and lots of shows on Netflix and most surround sound shows. It’s crazy how good they sound for being such small speakers. All I can say is go for it!
