I purchased these ear buds during a sale for $119 and they've certainly proven to be an excellent product and value. The sound is rich and detailed. Their glossy black metal construction is such an impressive difference from all the cheap feeling plastic ear buds on the market. Make sure you try the different sized ear tips to get the best fit. Bottom line - this is a highly recommended product for people looking for IEMs with great sound, sleek design and a reasonable price.

So this has been my third set of headphones in the span of half a year and I am blown away with the quality. Pro: -The sound quality is very rich, sometimes it is heavier on the bass and becomes over-powering, but it's only been more noticeable with the metal genre. Otherwise, the high's are perfect and the mid's leave nothing to be desired. -The build quality feels fantastic. No cheap plastic feel or low quality rubber inserts. -They stay in quite well, I have used them in normal daily walking, as well as at the gym and they have yet to fall out. Cons: -They would be much better with tangle-free wires. It's slightly a nuisance to have to keep unraveling them when you set them down for a little while. -The loops to secure in the ears don't stay the set size as well as you would hope. They stay in well enough but sometimes feel loose. May have been better with ones that you can swap, though being able to adjust on the go has some perks. Overall, after using various Sony, Klipsch, Beats and other odd brands, these are my favorite thus far. The overall sound quality for a huge variety of music is crisp and clean and does not sound distorted. While the fit isn't perfect with the loops getting loose, they stay in quite well and I am very pleased with the C5 S2 headphones. 4.5/5 would be a more accurate option.

***The secure ear loop may NOT fit everyone but it fit me very well after sometimes of trying. It stayed well inside and not hurt me at all. YMMV. You have to try with different size of ear tips to find the best fit and the best sound *** Bass is strong and very nice. Treble is nice, too. Mid / vocal is strong and powerful as their B&W sound signature. Sound stage and instruments separation is very nice. All the buttons work well with my iPhone. The included pouch is nice but I use the Altoids tin for better protection. In brief, this In-Ear Headphones is great looking and sound wonderful. It is well built with their B&W best sound. It is the top choice for many people and an average user like me. I bought this item at Best Buy and very happy with its quality so far. Thank you B&W and Best Buy to make this product available.

These are earbuds for people who hate earbuds and love quality sound. I tried various earbuds in the past and have been repeatedly disappointed by inferior sound and discomfort. As a result, I always returned to my Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. But not after purchasing these. I exclusively use my Bowers & Wilkins C7 earbuds. Sound: These earbuds have sound quality equivalent or exceeding anything I have previously tried. The buds work together seamlessly and create a deep, full sound with range. You can differentiate between instruments and you cannot tell which ear certain instruments are coming from because it feels like the entire band is in your head. Comfort: The earbuds have an adjustable loop and four different cups for fitting the earbuds comfortably in the ear. When properly fitted, these will not slip or fall out when walking, running or through general use.

I enjoy using these ear buds, the sound quality is excellent and durability compared to other brands is exceptional. The only downside I have with it is probably finding the proper ear piece to fit and stay in place. I tend to use these when running and they only stay put for so long until I have to adjust them again. But they are comfortable and I have upgraded from a basic pair of Sonys to Beats by Dre and all others under the 180$ price range and have felt these are superior in more ways I can think of. If I were to recommend a contender pair, I would recommend Bose, but their ear bud cords are too short for me and require and extensions.

I had the s1's for more than a year and really like them. They were some of the best sounding in-ear's I've heard for the price range and the only ones that stayed in my ear without being uncomfortable. My only dislike the the stiffness of the cable. Since I had the BBY warranty, when the sound went out in one ear, I took them to the store and got the s2 as the replacement. The sound is comparable and the cable is much improved over the s1. My only concern is the cable seems almost too flimsy and soft. Hopefully it holds up well, but if not its okay because I have another 2 year BBY replacement warranty. I've been through a number earphones over the years and I'm glad I finally wised up and bought the warranty.

I think this is the best in-ear headphone in its class. For ths class--the price range $150-200 and dynamic driver, nothing could out perform than this one. I admit this does not have truely balanced sound, but I enjoy its boosted bass becasue the mids and highs are still clear with its boosted bass. So if you use this in noisey places such as outside, you actually get pretty balanced sound because all the noise decreases c5 s2's bass. Also, the fit is just perfect to me. I enjoy listening to this while commuting to school.

I use the C5S2 all the time. Im constantly impressed with their ability to faithfully reproduce sounds earbuds shouldn’t be able to(bass especially). They fit the tight enough to block most noise (Air Tools, Chain Saws, ect.), and stay in place well enough. I wear them all day, 5 days a week while working. They are comfortable. I doubt they were ever intended for the levels of abuse they endure (and i have killed a few sets of them), but they do hold up well. I will continue buying them because they are the best earbuds ive owned.

These are the best fitting earbuds I've ever used. I have medium sized ears and the standard loop setting and silicone tips are perfect for me. They stay in place through just about any activity without any discomfort at all. Combine this fit with the exceptional B&W sound and you have a real winner. Highly recommend you check these out. If they fit your particular ear shape you will absolutely love them!

Having owned the P5, first and second generation; the Zeppelin Air and the P7, I purchased the c5 as an everyday in ear earphone. The design is unique and it takes a little bit to get used to but once in it remains firmly inside your ear. Out of the box the sound quality is nothing but excellent. Once you find the right tip to seal outside noise, you will be amazed at the amount of detail present in your music. Whether you like bass or classical or rock, these are an excellent choice, albeit not cheap, to make sure you experience your music the way it was intended.

For those who want great sound and an earbud form factor, the Bowers and Wilkins C5s are a viable choice. I'm quite critical of sound quality at times, and found these earbuds to be well above average with crisp sound and an extremely comfortable design. The adjustment on each earbud allows you to get an exact fit for your ear. I would love a wireless version closer to this price point!

Just purchased a pair of B&W ear buds to replace my Beats. I find them to be everything I expected. The sound they deliver is pure, clean, and crisp. They deliver crisp high end notes and tight bass notes. Once you figure out the design they are comfortable to wear. They are definitely a step above what I have been wearing, but they are also a step above the price too. In this case, I did get what I paid for.

I've owned 2 sets of B&W C5 series 1. Both had disconnected at the stereo plug but I loved their sound quality over the Shures and Bose I've also owned. Took a chance on the Series 2 and not only do they sound even better but they're much more drably built. The loops stay put on the earpieces better then the 1 also. So far, they are the best ear buds I've owned.

I love B&W products and already own their P7 headphones which are phenomenal. I wanted something smaller to carry around and got those. The sound is phenomenal, the build is also great, but they do tend to hurt a little after a long time of listening. I haven't fiddled around with adjustments much, but I doubt they will be much help.

Everything about these earbuds are 5 star. Sound is balanced and doesn't distort at high levels. Experiment with the earbud tips to get the right fit. Very comfortable and the loop is a great idea. They are built solidly to say the least. Expensive but worth it, I think.

Great headphones, but make sure you try out the different size tips. There was far less bass with the tips that came attached...when i switched to one of the smaller bead shaped tips it made a huge difference...these are well worth the money

The headphones are comfortable, and exhibit excellent sound. However, they do not have a good suppot apparatus, and are not great for on-the-go use. Great for office, desk, or otherwise "sitting" use
