Somethings in life you can be cheap on, not this. Your money is well used when purchasing a BW speaker system. I got the inceling speakers with marantz receiver and the clarity, quality, and dept of sound is amazing. I am blown away. Other brands like Bose or Fender or the cheap amazon brands got nothing on BW Speakers. Just perfection!

We just built our new home and wanting the best quality in cieling speakers that put out the best sound, I knew I had quite a few options laid out in front of me. I listened to countless speakers but these B&W's were by far the best sounding speakers I listened to in the Magnolia Room. Installation was unbelievably easy. Once I turned on the receiver and listened to the speakers, I was absolutely blown away as they sounded even better than the demo I was given. Then again, the folks at BB never really turned the volume up as loud as I wanted. The clarity at higher volume was just unreal. The amount of bass these speakers put out was surprising. But the clarity.... WOW! I almost went with another brand to save some $$ but my philosophy of "once and done" pushed me to spend the extra cash, get the best, and now there is never the feeling of "coulda, shoulda, woulda..." I truly believe in reading reviews before I buy anything...consumer reports, product reviews etc. and want to make sure I have as much info before taking that leap. I'm here to tell you right now, you will NOT be disappointed in these speakers. I have a full set up with the CM10 S2's in the living room, matching center channel, and these in ceiling speakers in both the living room and master bathroom. I'm sold on B&W's and once you hear them, you will be too. Love, love, love them!!!

I have much more expensive B&W speakers that are connected to a two channel stereo system in my home and have found them to be very accurate, clear, and able to create a wide soundstage. While these speakers are much less expense (although they are not inexpensive), they sound a lot like the the other B&W speakers I own. There is a quality to all B&W speakers that seems run through the whole product line. I thought I might need the larger 8" speakers, but that is not the case. These 6" speakers have a wide frequency range when paired with a good subwoofer in a surround sound system. In addition, they have a really cool design that makes installation quick and easy. I installed them myself and I had no problems. Basically, you cut the holes in the ceiling using the provided template, draw out the speaker wire, connect the positive and negative ends to the color coded connections on a frame that you then push up into the hole and lock in place. You then simply push the speakers up into the frames using the alignment arrows as a guide and punch the locking nuts into place with a screwdriver. Put on the magnetic covers and you are done....very secure and clean installation. They reproduce a movie soundtrack in amazing detail. I also listened to the B&W 6" speakers below these in the product line and these are clearly superior. I also listened to the speakers above these in the product line and couldn't tell enough difference to justify the higher price, so these seem to be the best value in the line-up.

I just added these to complete the surround sound set-up in my house. I already had the B&W CM9 fronts and CM center. These match the tonal qualities nicely. It is not the ideal match for my other speakers, but there is nothing ideal about ceiling speakers anyhow. It is absolutely insane how clear and rich the sound is that come from B&W speakers. They are expensive, but I have not found anything that is noticeably better for the price range of any given B&W line. I wish I could afford their top of line products. If their mid-level stuff is this good, I could not imagine how their best stuff is. None of the speakers I mentioned will produce deep booming bass very well, but none of them are over 6.5" so what can you expect. Keep the low pass filters at around 90 to 110 and use a sub to fill in the low end and there will be no holes in the spectral response. B&W small to mid-size speakers have amazing mid and high responses. I can hear so many subtle sounds in some of my favorite movies and music that I never knew were there until I got this set-up.

I was trying to find speakers to upgrade to Atmos - I didn't like the idea of upward firing speakers "bouncing" sound off the ceiling - direct sound has always appealed more. All my existing speakers are B&W so I started my search there. These were quite easy to install - I like the sliding retainers that hold them into the ceiling. The sound is very good - better than I thought possible for the money. Now I need more Atmos Movies.

I bought these as my ceiling speakers for my Atmos setup, and I love them. The install is easy, I had the ceiling pre-wired during construction. Sounds fantastic paired with an Integra AVR. These match perfectly with my B & W CWM 663's. They typically do not go on sale, but since I was buying 4 of them, the Magnolia sales person gave me a little discount which was awesome.

Best Buy sold and installed these awesome speakers for us! We are not only impressed with the performance and quality of the speakers, we were equally impressed with the installation process. I highly recommend these speakers and the guys who installed them. Worth every penny!

Love these speakers! Replaced 4 klipsch 1650 speakers installed by the builder. Installing was very simple due to the quick dog connectors and the separate frame. Install the frame, connect your wires to the frame and then install the speaker into the frame itself. Be extra careful when securing the speakers to the frames. You use a screw driver to push the locking connectors into the frame. It’s very easy to accidentally puncture the cone. The sound quality that these speakers produce is typical Bowers and Wilkins. Very noticeable difference between these and the klipsch. The adjustable tweeters allow you to direct towards your seating position. There’s also a three position EQ setting that allows for fine tuning the sound output depending on placement. The magnetically attached grills are secure and attractive looking. These are pricy but worth every penny.

After extensive comparison shopping, we purchased the Bower speakers and have been absolutely delighted. Other candidates were Bose, Sonos and other "speciality" brands available through Home Entertainment contractors. Since we didnt want to drop $18,000 on a system we declined the specialty contractors bid. Sound quality remained our first priority and we preferred hardwired to a wireless product. The ratings for Bower is solid and the price point in our budget. Paramount to all is that the sound quality is awesome! Bonus we were even able to install the ceiling speakers ourselves. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

These are solid and very well made. Easy to install. And most of all they sound great. The amiable tweeter gives great sound when aimed at your favorite seat.

These speakers have tremendous sound and directional ability. The installation was simple and took about 30 minutes, including measuring and drywall cutting. I highly recommend these speakers!

These are high quality speakers and sound really great. Easy to install and blend in seamlessly rather than cluttering up your space like the box speakers from days gone by.

I purchased 5 of these to replace the ones left behind by the previous owner. I was unhappy with the sound coming from those speakers. I have always been a fan of B&W due to the amazing sounding speakers they make. I went to BestBuy and listen to several speakers. As soon as the salesman switched to the B&Ws, the clarity and detail was far better than all the previous I tested. They are more costly but well worth it. If your a fan of good quality sounding music, B&Ws will not let you down. Then again, if you appreciate good sounding music, you probably already know about B&W.

Purchased these to use as surround speaker for my home theater. Very satisfied with the sound and quality. The installation was super easy. Must have if you are looking into purchasing ceiling speakers.

I did a lot of research on in ceiling speakers. Went to multiple Magnolia home theater stores and got the same answer. If u have a budget u can throw it out the window. I first bought the CCM664SR as a center channel paired with 4 CCM663 and I could definitely hear the difference from 663 to 664. I than ordered the 663SR which was another $150 but well worth the money. I'm completely satisfied with my B&W home theater system.

I own the Bowers and Wilkens CM10 series and I have them powered by parasound amplifiers with a OPPO player. The very best sounding speakers. Crisp and very detailed. The center channel CM2 S2 is excellent. I purchased 4 of the inceiling speakers as I plan to mate them with either a Marantz AV8802 Atmos ready receiver or an Integra. The speakers are great with clear and full sound. I decided to go this route in hopes of keeping the sound a bit more focused and directional as it comes from above.

Somewhat disappointing. It may be that the speakers could be voiced better, especially our center channel. Ineligibility is difficult unless turned extremely loud. We are using not only as surround sound for video system with In command Denon system, but also for music. Perhaps, when I become more familiar with the set up on the Denon, I will venture into playing with calibration to see if we can obtain better results. The speakers are simply not delivering the quality sound as heard in the show room, not the warmth or clarity I expected. But again, tweaking Eq, or calibration might enhance the speakers output. I'm so old school, accustomed to adjusting the old style equalizer to my taste. This system seems to be all preset. I would have been willing to pay a little more for the 8" model or the higher end 6" if it would provide the same "sample" sound as delivered in the showroom.

I did a lot of research and had a budget for my in ceiling speaker system. I went to multiple magnolia Best Buy stores but Erik from Huntington Station store sold me the moment he put the B&W CCM663 on. I told him I wanted the B&W664 and wanted to hear them they sounded great but he than told me if I could hear the difference from 664 to 663. That's when I was sold on the 663 unbelievable sound quality. Watched the movie 13 hours and I thought I was in the battle in Benghazi. Thanks Erik.

I used these speakers on my ceiling for my Dolby Atmos setup 7.2.2. I'm very satisfied of the performance. Bowers-Wilkins are high quality product.

Not quite as loud as I would like but sound quality is incredible! Great for music and movies.
