I tried Sony XM5, Bose Q700, Sennheiser M4, Airpod Max, Technics A800, Beats Studio Wireless. They all have strengths and weaknesses but I could only afford to keep one. Whichever one I chose I was going to have to decide which little imperfection I could live with. And there’s so much more that goes into it besides sound quality. There’s ANC, controls, comfort, portability, connection etc. My biggest priorities were sound quality and, due to a broken arm a while back and lingering nerve damage in my fingers, the controls. I’m kind of an audiophile so I’m really picky with sound. Rock, Jazz, ambient, folk. Etc. These had the best and most natural sound quality by far. Nothing added to try and beef it up no heavy sound signature and tuning. Just super clarity and natural punchy bass. Sennheiser was a really close second. Third Apple. Fourth Bose. I know Sony has its fans, and there’s a lot to like, but I found it a little muffled and overly compressed. The Bowers and Wilkins brought out details and channel separation and still had a nice balanced and full sound. The bass didn’t swallow up the rest of the sound like some of the others. I just love these. I found the noise canceling to be almost on par with the Bose. And these rivaled the Apple air Max in terms of build quality. And now. The controls. The best controls for my situation was easily the Apple AirPod Max. One button. Clickable not haptic. Awesome. Loved it. But the sound quality was not as nice, they were kinda heavy…and they were the most expensive. The beats also had great controls …But the sound was not even really in the ballpark of all the others. All the others had touch controls that I just found very frustrating. Sennheiser was probably the easiest of the touch controls but the stupid power button and shutting them on/off was an adventure every time. The Bowers and Wilkins have buttons which were a little tricky but thankfully the center button has ridges to distinguish it from the others which my thumb and finger, which have numbness, were able to recognize. I guess the controls were something easier to live with than the others. The two cons with these which I find easy to forgive are the app only has Bass and treble…no eq. And the wear sensor, which senses when you take them off and pauses the music, will often malfunction. Luckily this is easily fixed. You can just disable it in the app and then they work flawlessly. And because they have physical and clickable buttons, pausing them and shutting them off is way easier than all the other ones. I bought them in blue. I love them. My teenage daughter, who swears by her Air Pod Maxes, even admitted that these sound way better and look really cool…just not as cool as her maxes:) Anyway this is a long review because I spent weeks trying them all and it was important to my lifestyle. If you try these you need to be patient and let the simplicity and nuance of the sound settle in. It won’t blow you away with bass or make it sound like you’re in a noise deprivation chamber like the Bose…They have a mature and exciting sound and BW nailed it! I cannot recommend these enough and I feel so confident that I picked the best ones for me.

As an iPhone user jumping to another headphone always brings fears of how much are you gonna to have to sacrifice. Nothing can ever do more for you than the IOS devices. But if you only looking for key things… comfort, sound, ANC, and cost then the doors open up for you. The bowers and Wilkins px7 s2 are easily the second best headphone on the market today. It won’t do more than the ios device does but things like , comfort, sound, battery life, and looks are areas where the Px7 S2 steps up and beats all others in most and equals them in others. The b/w shocked me with just how good they felt on my head and ears. They cup around my ears without any touching of the driver. With that comes amazing sound quality , soundstaging, and powerful yet high quality. For me, the build of the S2s are much higher than I thought. The hinge movement are the best I’ve ever felt. I love the black chevlar look as well. I think I might have found the headphone going with me to my next business trip flight.

The Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2 headphones are an absolute game-changer! The active noise cancelling is not the best, but it handles most noise. The sound quality is crystal clear, delivering an immersive audio experience. Unlike other high-end wireless ANC headphones, these have convenient physical buttons that make controlling the audio playback a breeze. The sleek design and exceptional sound quality make them my top pick! Highly recommend these headphones!

Before purchasing these, I tried the Airpod max, Bose 700, Sony XM4, XM5 and Sennheiser Momentum 3 and 4. If you're considering these headphones, then you've probably considered these others as well. All are great headphones, but the main question is "am I more concerned about noise cancellation or sound quality?" The Sony XM5 take the top spot for their ability to cancel out sound, but sound quality is more important to me. The Px7 S2 do a great job at cancelling out ambient sound, but not as good as the XM5. However, their sound quality and soundstage are just so much better than the other headphones mentioned above. I use them exclusively on airplanes, and listen to a variety of music, mainly instrumental, relaxing piano or jazz (not loud rock). Even at low volume levels, the sound is incredibly enjoyable and relaxing despite the slight hum of the plane's engines. When I look around the plane and see only Bose, Sony or Beats, I smile and am so glad to have found these gem's of airplane travel. They are like having your own personal concert hall and I actually look forward to getting on a plane now. One additional note. Purchase an external DAC/amplifier, and this will take these already excellent headphones to another level. I use the Topping NX4, but FiiO, Schiit and Xduoo all make DAC's under $200. You'll have to use a cable (no longer wireless), but absolutely worth it if you enjoy sound. A portable DAC will even fit inside the case (see picture).

Sounds quality is neutral, good. This is a mid-level audiophile’s dream as it delivers perfect sound quality at a reasonable price. They cause less wear fatigue than the previous generation, great. However, like the previous generation, they do not last. This time, these PX7 S2 choose to randomly pause music after 7 months of usage. It seems minor but you can imagine it being quite a nuisance and warranting a claim. All of my previous PX7s cursed as well, one “chopping” in and out, and the other loosing sound in the left. Regardless, the sound quality is an all redeeming factor as long as you have a warranty.

Stylish design with premium materials that feel and look better than anything else in its price point. Sophisticated, mature, neutral sound. More of an audiophile headphone than a head banger but you can turn the bass up if you desire. ANC not as good as some competitors, but their sound does not come near the quality of the Bowers and Wilkins. Great battery life.

These headphones are the best over the ear headphones ive ever owned. I also own the Sony XM5 and these Px7 s2 are far better in terms of highs and lows in sound without sounding distorted. These dont have as good of noise cancellation like the XM5 in my personal opinion but the feel on youre head and the weight overall feels more premium. Tried these on dolby atmos music and movies and definitely felt more immersed in the rich sound quality of these headphones. For the same price as the XM5 I’d recommend these to anyone looking for a premium sound experience.

Ooooooooh! These heasphones are the absolute truth! From the moment I pulled them out of the box, they've been nothing but good to me. They show out inn front of my friends and enemies. Just looking amazinng and sounding just as gorgeous. Okay. Let me back up a little bit. For starters, when I opened the box, I wa greateed wwith a very premium feeling case. And that's not even the half of it. Inside the case PX7 S2s sit so gloriously in the folded down position. Draping what seems to be a protrusion that keeps their shape, but noooo. There's something tto that protrusion. Inside this( magnetic) casing. Yes. magnetic. That's some serious attention to detail in just the case. But yeah, inside this case, houses your USB-C cable for charging or connecting to your type-C port, if your phone doesn't have 3.5 mm jack. If it does, however, there's a type-C to female 3.5 port for aux support. Oh my goodness, these folks thought of everything. They charge in a couple hours and have a listening time of 30 whole hours. If for some reason, you kill them, you can get 7 hours of listening time off of just 15 minutes of charging. That's just rediculously awesome. Not to mention, the sheer comfort of wearing them. They seem kinda heavy, but they feel very good on the brain box. I haven't even started on about how great they sound out of the box.( fun fact: I took them out of the box and was greeted with a 75% charge.) Plus there's a B&W app that will give you more control over your listening pleasure. There are simple to use controls on the 40mm driver earpieces, for power on/off, bluetooth pairing, FF, RR, play /pause , answering , ingnoring calls and volume up and down. And that's all on one driver. The left driver has the ANC functions and OMG, does that sound amazing during phone calls. I drivve a truck for a living and I was talking to a buddy of mine who didn't even know I was driving my truck while we talked. He couldn't even hear the engine or the traffic. I had to take them off to make sure therre was a world around me. Okay, that may be a slight exageration...Slightly. The only real problem I had, was pairing it to my phone, through the app. Simce I have an Android device, al I had tto do was pair it via my bluetooth settings, but in order to use the app, I had to go through their process of finding the headphones and linking them up. This took a few tries for me and I eventually had to restart my phone to get everything to sync. But once thst was all done, I got acceess to the EQ and profile functions. These are my new favorite headphones. Now for the elephant in the room. Cost. Yes, these babies are gonna cost you a couple car notes(if you've got good credit). They run $400.00 USD. And this is the part where I start saying that that's just just too freaking much for a pair of headphones, But.... These things are just that awesome. If you've got the doe, treat yourself to some epic listening goodness. Or pay a couple car notes. It's up to you. But I would defenitely recommen the Bowers & Wlikins PX7 Series 2 ANC Headphones to all of my friends and co-workers.

Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones are amazing headphone made for everyday and all-day use. These headphones are very comfortable to wear, fit great and most importantly sound amazing with their new custom designed 40mm drive unit, active noise cancellation and transparency mode all while looking aesthetically beautiful. These are premium headphones that deliver premium sound, comfort and design. The headphones have aluminum and cloth construction but a solid and almost a luxury feel to them yet are lightweight. The Px7 S2 have proven themselves in variety of uses such listening to music, watching movies, and most importantly, to me, while traveling. I travel a lot for work and needed headphones that are comfortable to wear for extended periods, have active noise cancellation and sound good. The Px7 S2 took home the gold in all three fields. The headphones come in a nice carrying case that actually keeps your investment safe and secure while not in use, unlike some of the other ridiculous carrying cases provided by the other manufacturers. The case also has a nice compartment inside to store the provided USB-C to USB-C charging cable and a USB-C to audio jack. The design of the carrying case has also been slimmed down so that is easily able to fit in your backpack or even to carry with you. The setup process is rather simple, slide up the power button until the blue light flashes and your done. You can start enjoying your new headphones. Usually, I would recommend that you download the application that comes along with the product to take full advantage of the features, but in this situation the app really does not have much to offer. Yes, you do have the option to adjust the EQ, but I did not feel the need to you can only adjust the Bass and Treble. The app also allows you to control the active noise cancellation, but that can be done with the press of a button on the headphones themselves. The app is a bit lacking and does not offer much in terms of functionality. Now, in terms of comfort, I love them. The leather covered ear cushions are amazing for extended wear. I used to use noise cancelling ear buds before I got these because the noise cancellation on the earbuds was amazing, but after wearing those in for extended period my ears would start to hurt. That is no longer the case the S2. I used these headphones on an 8-hour flight and there was not discomfort at all combined with the much-improved noise cancellation that I fell asleep with these on. The active noise cancellation on the S2 is much better than the previous model, and they did a amazing job blocking out the surrounding noise. The battery life is pretty much the same as the as the older version of about 30 hours. The control on these headphones are all physical buttons and one cool added feature with these headphones is that to pause the music all you need to do is lift one of the ear cups and the music will automatically pause and once you are ready to jam out again simply put the headphones back on and press play. Overall, I am impressed and very happy with the new Bower & Wilkins Px7 S2 headphones. Its everything you would expect for a premium brand, you get a premium product that sounds great, fits greats and looks great.

This headphones are exactly what I was looking for. I love hearing every layer of the music I’m listening to and these headphones allow you to hear eeeeverything. Great price for great quality. I will say they are better when using higher-quality music streaming apps (ex. Qobuz)

I’ve heard the name of Bowers & Wilkins, but have never seen a headphone from them. I’m always on the search for some great sounding headphones with over-the-ear cups, and have not been impressed with Apple’s or Bose’s. Sony has been a trusted name brand but they are always out of stock in my area. So I wanted to try out these B&W’s and I was impressed with these headsets. After a few weeks of listening to them, here are my thoughts. Pros: The design of these are just elegant. They come in a standard matte black look, nothing really too impressive. But with a more detailed look, you notice just how impressive they are. There is this rugged textured on the outside of the ear cups where they joints meet for the head band, so they don’t fold like the Beats, instead they turn inward.They feel really good in the hand. I also notice that the pivot joint is at a slight angle, more attuned to your head/ears for maximum comfort. They look very premium and those rugged textured I mentioned earlier, leaves no fingerprints on them. The leather on the headband felt comfortable on my crown. The ear cups are amazingly comfortable. Again, focus on comfort. They go over my ears and the soft material feels really great. On the right cup are the main controls for the headset. The POWER button is a slider switch that also doubles as the Bluetooth ON/OFF switch. Sliding it up just once powers them on, and sliding and holding them for 5 seconds enables the Bluetooth. The other buttons are for PLAY/PAUSE and VOLUME control. The left ear cup is a customizable button that you can control the Active Noise Cancellation. I’ve tried them out while walking from my car to work and they do cancel out a good amount of the traffic around me. You can also control it to ANC OFF, and TRANSPARENCY mode. The customizable options include a phone voice assistance to. Sound quality is great. It’s stated that they use an aptXTM Adaptive wireless technology that optimizes the way the music is transmitted from my device to the headset. In other words, the sound quality is very crisp and high resolution. You can also connect two different device to these headsets, so both my iPhone and iPad are concurrently connected. Even listening to television/movies improved the sound quality of the vocals and music without any sort of distortion. There is no 3.5mm input jack, so you would have to connect the USB-C cord if you want it wired. It’s ok, I think I’m fully onboard with wireless now as it doesn’t get in the way. Utilizing them for voice calls and in my Zoom meetings are great with the 6 microphones where the recipients can hear me clearly and accurately. Battery life is great at 30 hours with a full charge. They are also quick charge so they can charge in around 2 hours from a dead set. Overall, these are amazing sounding and great quality headphones. So comfortable and very clear and precise sounds.

TL:DR Yes these are amazing and worth it! I honestly have no idea where to start when praising B&W's Px7 S2s. Sound? Comfort? Versatility? These amazing headphones are the real deal. Everything from packaging to listening to anything going through these was beyond enjoyable. The case feels and looks super premium. Holds your charging cable and USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter in the center compartment while the super soft liner keeps your headphones well protected. Great for traveling or taking it on the go. On the right cup is where you will find your physical controls if you aren't near your source (phone, tablet etc.). On/Off slider can go up one more tick to enter BT pairing, Volume Up and Down are the very bottom and 2nd from top buttons. Right in the middle of those 2 are the action button that can Answer/End a call, Skip or Go Back a track and lastly the USB-C connection/charger. Comfort for the Px7 are second to none. If these can fit my big round head and never feel like I am squishing it is an automatic win. Seriously, I can't say enough for the comfort. Padding is super soft yet strong enough to cup your ears to prevent sound leakage entering or exiting. They are so comfortable I have fallen asleep listening to music while in bed multiple times and admittingly woke up late for work, no discomfort at all or hot ears. Noise cancellation worked perfectly. No matter loud I tried to clap or snap my fingers next to my ears, barely and I mean BARELY anything was heard. If you have music on then you can just ignore the world with ease. Pass through worked just fine as well though it did have a little of the stereo static in the background (but then again I haven't found any other brand to not do it too). The app is highly recommended to be used. Shows you everything you need for the Px& from battery life (25-30hrs) to a semi EQ function. You can enable and disable Wear sensor (where the headphones can detect the presence of your ears to pause/resume what you are listening to) and Auto Standby. I was messing with the EQ settings as shown in my pic, but ultimately ended up at the default points for both Treble and Bass as these headphones were perfect as is out of the box to me. Sound is just amazing. It sounds like I was just listening to all my favorite music for the 1st time all over again. Highs and Lows were spot on. Bass never overpowered the highs or lyrics even when using the EQ to boost either or. No muffles or distortions ever of any kind at all. My personal volume level because these get LOUD is around the 60-70% range. Calls sounded perfect and there were no complaints from the other side when I was talking with my friends and family. By the way, since these also came with a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, I decided to use them with my PC and o m g. I've used Sennheiser for YEARS and I just permanently just switch to these. I have just left these on my head all day once going from streaming vids and stream off my phone to direct connection to PC gaming. Bowers & Wilkins are the real deal of high end sound peripherals and don't overlook these at all if you're in the market. You will not be disappointed. Daily driving for a week straight and could not be more happy.

I was very excited to receive the Bowers and Wilkins PX7 S2 Noise Cancelling headphones as I frequently travel for work. A good pair of noise-canceling headphones is always a welcome addition to my travel kit. The headphones themselves are stylish and, at first glance, are very similar in design to their predecessor - the PX7. The headphones are pretty light, and the black color makes these headphones fly under the radar - nothing too flashy here. The box and packaging are also pretty minimalist; inside the box is the zippered headphone case containing the headphones and a quick start guide. The case is excellent - it's not a hard side case, but it's not entirely soft - and I expect it to last a long time in my backpack while keeping these headphones protected as these headphones are in my backpack and it goes through airports and being shoved under airplane seats and such. I was somewhat disappointed with the fact that these headphones did not come with a charging cord - but it wasn't until a few days after having these that I found the case itself has a compartment that opens that contains both a USB-C charging cord as well as a 3.5mm to USB-C for wired listening. A little iconography or note on the compartment within the case itself would be helpful. The headphones fit my head well, but they have a good bit of clamping force that I find uncomfortable. Granted, my head is a bit on the larger side - so keep this in mind if you have a more giant head. The clamping got so uncomfortable that I was constantly adjusting the position of the headphones on my head during use, and I would have to take them off after 45 minutes or so for a break. The ear cups accommodate my ears fairly well and form a good seal around the ear, mainly in part to the clamping force of the headband. I did not find these super comfortable to wear around my neck as I see other travelers do with over-the-ear headphones in airports, but that is likely due to how I'm built - I don't have a thin neck. I found that I had to wear these on my head or take them off to be comfortable. One of the features of these phones is the Bowers and Wilkins App. I downloaded the app from the Apple App Store quickly on my iPhone 12, and after installation, I had to set up an account with an email and password. After the app is installed and appropriate permissions are granted (like the ability to use Bluetooth), the app is ready to search for your new headphones. I did have a bit of poor luck getting the app to recognize the headphones. It took a few rounds of turning the headphones off and on, rebooting the phone, and ultimately uninstalling and re-installing the app. Finally, I was able to get the headphones to detect the headphones. From the app, you can change the mode of the headphones between noise canceling, pass-through, or off. Noise canceling is the obvious prominent feature of these headphones, and pass-through allows outside sound to come through the headphones while content is playing through the headphones, and off is simply no noise cancellation or pass-through. The app also allows you to toggle features like head detection, which will pause the content playing when you lift one of the phones off of your ear to perhaps have a conversation with someone - this feature worked pretty well when I used it. Still, it did take a moment to notice that it was lifted from my ear. The app also has a built-in equalizer of sorts, allowing you to adjust bass or treble above or below the neutral point to your liking. One thing that was somewhat annoying about the app is that I had to also pair the headphones with the phone - it seems the app uses Bluetooth to directly control the headphones even though the headphones are not paired with the iPhone's Bluetooth settings. Also, the app will pop up every time you turn the headphones on if it is installed on your phone and the headphones have been mated to the app - which is a bit distracting. Most of the time, I simply want to put my headphones on and listen. I would consider the sound quality on these headphones excellent, probably the best out of the noise canceling headphones I have or have tried recently. They have what I would consider a bright sound, which I prefer. The Bass response was good, and the headphones performed well at high volumes. Sound quality can be a subjective assessment, but I can't say anything but positive things about the sound these put out. When it comes to noise canceling, these do an adequate job in my office and on an airplane. I took these on a recent business trip and sat in the exit row of a 737-900 on a two-hour flight while listening to music and watching a movie downloaded from Netflix on my iPad. They did a reasonably good job at keeping the noise of the airplane out - good enough that if I did not focus on the noise canceling feature, I could enjoy my movie in peace and not notice the background noise of the cabin during my movie. However, in an office setting, I can hear people having a conversation. I can't make out what is being said, but I can still discern conversations happening outside my headphones unless I listen at a higher volume level. What I did like, is that when the noise cancellation feature was on, the sound being delivered was still very crisp - in the past, on other noise-canceling headphones, I've had experiences where the noise canceling creates a notable decline in sound quality - the PX7 S2 performed well here. Pass-through mode is OK - I found myself taking off one earcup if I had to have a conversation with someone. There are a lot of great things to say about these headphones. Still, there are a few things that I did have challenges with - the location of the buttons - I have larger hands, and though some buttons have textures to help discern where they are on the headphones, I found I frequently pressed the wrong button when I meant to turn the volume up or down. Also, I tried accepting a call while wearing these headphones, and there was either no mic or it was not working correctly - as the other party could not hear me until I returned to using the iPhone's earpiece/mic or speakerphone. Lastly, the leather that is on the earcup on one side of these headphones seems to be improperly installed as it's bunched up / wrinkled in a spot - not something I would expect from a product from Bowers and Wilkins or any product at this price range - but this is likely a one-off thing that slipped by QC. One thing that I can't complain at all about is battery life. I used these for a few flights, and I didn't have to charge these - battery life is fantastic. Overall, these are a solid option if you're looking for noise-canceling headphones if you can live with a few of the drawbacks I've highlighted above that are not related to sound quality.

I have been using the Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2 for a few days now and they are now my default every day headset. In fact I retired my "fruit company" over ear headphones because not only do the Bower & Wilkins Px7 S2 sound better, they are just 100x more comfortable. I can't emphasize this enough. So before I go into any more detail, I want to say it again - if you want premium, quality, comfortable and lightweight noise canceling headphones you want the Px7 S2. Plus REAL buttons. Actual physical buttons for on/off/pairing/volume/assistant – seriously so thankful for this as not a fan of touch and swipe controls. Setup was kind of easy, but if you want the best results you need to install the free Bowers & Wilkins Music app. The app is very polished and looks good, but it’s annoying that it requires registration to use your device (so deducted a star from this review). There’s no reason I can see that it requires registration, you don’t get additional warranty, etc. If you don’t use the app you can’t get all the full customization and features of the Px7 S2 e.g. smart pause when you remove the headphones, customize one of the buttons to activate your voice assistant, etc. I learnt this the hard way, so don’t just pair the Px7 S2 direct to your Bluetooth, use their app, pair via their app and your experience will be 10x better. This includes making it easier to switch between devices, renaming the headphones, etc. I use the Px7 S2 with my iPhone 13 Pro and MacBook Air (m1). The Px7 S2 can pair to 2 devices at once, so I have used them for music (Apple Music) on my phone and on Zoom calls on my MacBook. On the iPhone there is a (free) Bowers & Wilkins app but there’s no companion app for your other devices and the iPhone app won’t work on my Mac. Not a complaint, just FYI and recommend you pair to a phone first. Audio quality is superb. As is the noise cancelation. As I write this, my partner is watching TV and I am on a Zoom calls and I can’t hear the TV. Microphone quality is excellent, no complaints from people I have called about voice quality. I really can’t wait to get the Px7 S2 on a plane, as this is one of the best ANC headphones I have used. Battery life is rated as 30 hours, so that’s more than enough for a return flight anywhere, keen to put that to the test. The entire Px7 S2 experience is very premium. Bowers & Wilkins include a very nice premium-feel hard case in the box, there’s also a very smart covered pocket for the included USB C to USB C cable (charging) and a USB C to 3.5mm audio cable (4ft long). You can use the Px7 S2 on a plane. There’s no 2-prong plane adapter, not a deal breaker, but some airlines are still stuck in the past – so worth picking up a plane adapter just in case. Odd design choice though, the Velcro cable tidy does attach to the cables, so high risk you will lose it when you unwind the cables. Overall, the Bowers 7 Wilkins Px7 S2 are amazing. Great sound, great noise canceling, light and comfortable and difficult to fault. I would definitely recommend. They are better choice than anything from the ‘fruit company’ being well built with premium look and sound. They would be perfect if the app didn’t require registration.

This B&W px7 s2 set of Bluetooth headphones have amazing sound quality first and foremost. That’s why we get these higher end over ears, right? These also definitely compete with any top tier noise canceling headphones such as Sony and Bose! But with more of a hifi focused company like bowers&wilkins you get just a notch above the other mainstream brands in both sound, noise canceling and add in a higher emphasis on design. You see why these headphones are priced just a little bit higher. So if sound is number 1 to you, then these are perfectly balanced. Smooth sounding and very detailed sound reproduction. Bass is clean are sharp while the mid(vocal) range are lovely and clear and the highs are clean and well suited to my taste. I don’t like overly sharp ear piercing sound signatures. I’m more of a flat EQ type of audiophile. You won’t regret this purchase for sound. Tho I will say the max volume isn’t as loud as I would like out of the box, but I turned the treble up a few db and the bass up a fewer db as well. And that seems to have done the trick. Minor issue simple fix. Control are clicks and easy to use. The power button is a switch style which while most won’t/don’t care I care. Something about pushing up and done vs pressing and holding. All buttons are easily accessible. Comfort is also amazing. Super plush leather soft around the ears. With very little pressure and I have a rather large head. I usually over heat after an hour or so. And I don’t get hot with these on for long listening time. Headband fit well and sits comfortably on my head as well. No complaints with comfort. Stock photos don’t do these headphones justice at all. In person the are beautiful and elegant. Clean and well thought out by the design team. I put these over the other brands I previously mentioned. For me if you have great sound, great comfort and a beautiful design. Then They are are worth the premium if you want the best. Great job by a great company.

Just wow. These headphones are really next level. First off hubby has a big head and large ears, so not all headphones fit the same and not all are comfortable. These fit the bill for both. After an hour charge these are ready to go. The case is large in circumference but super flat compared to other cases which fit better when you are sliding them in and out of bags, purses or even stand up luggage. These are super ideal for travel and plane flights to be specific. I’m not a fan of having to download the app before I can pair them but that’s minor. Once paired I was able to use them immediately. The app I guess does add an extra level of sophistication. The variety of being able to assign the customizable button is super cool. My biggest pet peeve or issue with these headphones, is that when I’m taking them off and putting them on my thumbs hits a button on the sides. I almost always hit or press a button that I don’t plan on or even want to touch but the design has these in a very odd spot. Other than that, these sound awesome!!

Originally I owned the PX8 but the cost was too insane to keep. Ended up returning it and getting the PX7 S2 but after testing them side by side...I do wish the PX8 was cheaper priced. First and Foremost, the Positives: +Sound is insanely clear and crisp. You cannot go wrong with these headphones. The clarity, bass/treble adjustment with the app, it's like the other reviewer stated: you aren't just listening to sound, you are truly experiencing it. I recommend moving the treble and bass up 2 from 0. +Battery life is great +Carrying case has everything you need and it's so convenient to have. Case quality is great also, can't complain. +Watching movies on these is crazy clear. I hear sounds I didn't hear before, background sound in the movie etc. This is most likely attributed to the amazing sound stage these headphones have. +These are the headphones to get against the competition for sound, period. Negatives: -The ANC is not bad, but if you want ANC you get the Sony XM series. But if you want sound, you get B&Ws. -Sensor taking the headset off to pause the music etc. doesn't work very well -Headphones are designed for people with smaller heads I feel like. I have to extend these out all the way to fit my head. -Earcups are a lot smaller than what I'm used to, but works. Probably why it sounds so amazing but if you have a huge head and huge ears, these might not be a good fit. -Wearing glasses with these aren't bad, but after having the PX8, the PX8 is way better for glasses wearers. Comparison PX8 vs PX7 S2: *First thing that's noticeable is the comfort. The Napa leather on the PX8 is instantly noticeable. *Sound, you can definitely notice the difference between the PX8 and PX7 S2 sound. The PX8 does sound better, but for most users, the price on PX8 is a turn off. If you can afford the PX8, get the PX8. The sound on the PX8 vs. the PX7 S2 definitely swings to PX8's way. Even in movies. I do have some regret returning the PX8, so I recommend you don't use the PX8 then downgrade to the PX7 S2 because you will be like blech this sucks I already got spoiled from the PX8. I still regret returning the PX8, but the price on those are just way too insanely high. Maybe one day I will trade back to the PX8 but only when it's on sale. That's how much the PX8 is than the PX7 S2. For those who just like great sound, you really can't go wrong with either or. Just don't do what I did, used the PX8 then downgraded. If you must, just do PX7 S2 and don't look at the PX8 or you will be like argh, that high price PX8 is worth it if I had the money. FYI I got these for $70 off during a sale. That's the only reason why I'm ok with keeping these PX7 S2. If PX8 does drop $200/$300, I'll jump ship back to PX8. As you can tell, I really did love the PX8s but that price is just too crazy.

I was searching for a great set of headphones that were comfortable yet great sounding. The Beats and Apple AirPods Max were the two brands I had originally wanted to test. After a trip to the Apple Store, I must say I was not impressed with Beats at all. The Apple AirPods Max compared to the Beats sounded amazing. However at the time they had a price tag of $499. I felt that was absurd amount so I decide to keep searching. After some long searching on Best Buy I came across these Bowers & Wilkins. I must say I have Bowers & Wilkins speakers in my living room so I know the brand is high quality sound. After many reviews and videos on these I decided to give these a try, especially at their price point. Personally I feel they are just as good if not even better than the Apple. These are super comfortable, high quality sound, great noise cancelling and noise amplifier of your surroundings. The battery life is also superb. I highly highly recommend these!
