For my business, I deal with a large number of documents with other people's sensitive information. I end up having too remove documents that don't print properly & it's not something I want to throw in the trash. I ended up spending WAY more than I expected on a shredder, but I cannot tell you how valuable each penny spent was. This shredder was worth it! I counted 140 sheets of paper and the document feeder actually does hold 140 sheets! I takes about 11 minutes to shred, which is amazing considering the 12 page manual shredder I had prior. The auto feeder allows me to set it up and walk away. There is also a manual feeder separate from the auto-feeder and it works simultaneously. If you have lot of paper to shred, I HIGHLY recommend spending a few extra dollars to purchase this shredder. You will not regret it!

This is the best shredder that I have ever purchased. I love the fact that you can just stack your documents, to be shredded, and off it goes. Does the shredding with ease and best part, without me having to babysit it. I can take care of more important tasks, while the shredding takes care of itself. The microcut size is perfect for security purposes. I don't have to worry about some criminal nerd trying to piece together teeny bits of paper, in order to try and obtain personal information. The collecting bin is big, but can easily be removed to empty into the trash or recycle bin, depending on your local garbage/recycle guidelines. I did wait almost five months before writing my review, as I wanted to make sure I gave myself ample time using it, to see if I encountered any hiccups. None, so far! I have shredded several banker boxes full of old documents, which a previous shredder could not handle. So, I'm extremely happy with this purchase! :)

We’ve put A LOT through this machine and have been nothing short of happy with it. We’ve gotten a little carried away and overwhelmed it a couple of times, but only because it just keep shredding away. It’s very easy to reverse the direction and back out anything that may get stuck. You can use the front and back simultaneously and shred even faster. It goes through credit cards and discs with ease. I would recommend buying more of the lubricant pads. I firmly believe that my diligent use of these is why I have never experienced it overheat and shut itself down like it says it may in the manual. We’ve used this for a few hours at a time and it has had no issues.

Wow! I read a lot of reviews before deciding on this shredder. Boy, am I happy I bought it. It is a great work horse! You can put a stack of over 100 pages into one feed and it automatically shreds one page at a time, while simultaneously inserting a handful of pages into the second feed. It says you can put 10 pages into the manual feed, but I have found that if I attempt 10 pages at once, I get a paper jam. You can, however, put about 6-7 pages in at a time. Having 2 feeds, it shreds paper really fast. In fact, the bin fills up so quickly, it seems that I am always emptying it. This shredder is so much faster and more efficient than my last shredder, which would only do a few pages at a time. In only a week's time, I have already shredded 10 large garbage bags of paper. I hope this shredder lasts a long time.

This paper shredder works really really good. You can put a stack of papers into the paper slot, and the shredder automatically pulls the sheets of paper down into the cutting device and shreds the papers really fast... The machine automatically shuts off when the paper tub is full. (of the shredded paper) I have used at lease 3 or 4 other paper shredders in the pass none of them compared to this one. I would definitely recommend this shredder !!!

We are shredding multiple boxes of papers from a family business that has been stored in our shed. Shredding companies wanted a lot of money to come to our home so we purchased this shredder based on the 140 sheet auto-feed. We can place them in the feeder and multi-task around the house while this shredder works. It has only clogged up two or three times and we've used it many times. We simply hit reverse and the issue was easy to fix., back to shredding within seconds. It needs to be emptied often but it shreds so many sheets quickly, that should be expected.

Bought this for my office. Works great and will handle a lot of paper at a time. No issues so far and used for several months.

I tried my shredder briefly and it did the job. The bin for the shredded paper is large enough. I find though the portal could be more easily assessable. I had it shipped to my home. It came at the promised time. Best Buy rep was very helpful and took the time to answer my questions about a few models. Overall my experience was good.

this shredder is a wonderful addition to my home office. It's always on and ready and we didn't notice a change in our dte bill. It has shredded even the bubble wrap with name and address from packages delivered. Recommend this. The basket is larger than any others I have owned.

It is a great product!! I needed to shred a lot of papers that had piled up around the house. So, I ordered this brand because my old shredder stopped working. The BOXIS shredder was great and it did not shut down like my old 10 page shredder when it's overheated. I love the new shredder because it gets the job done and it is: A GREAT PRODUCT!!.

Works for me! Sturdy, easy to move on smooth-glide casters - this little machine is compact, but substantial. It's a little loud, but I didn't expect a quiet shredder. Overall, a nice machine. One star off because I don't feel that the stated paper-shredding capacity is accurate. I don't know about most people, but the majority of the documents I shred are mail -- not so much neatly stacked, equally sized, perfectly flat sheets of paper. That said, this gets the job done, but with some maneuvering. I put mail (one or three at a time, depending on thickness) into the slot meant for thicker stock and credit cards. I've tried to put mail in the slot meant for 140 sheets of paper, but sometimes even a single envelope with 2 folded sheets of paper inside (so let's say 8 sheets of paper...2 sides of the envelope and then a tri-folded pair of papers inside) gets stuck. Beyond that, I can't complain. I use standard desk-sized garbage can liners and they work perfectly. This product also comes with a sample set of 3 bags (haven't opened them yet). Careful when opening the bin once it starts to get full as some of the shredded paper (super small squares - yay!) will fly out. That hasn't been a big problem, and when it happens, it's been a negligible amount of paper.

The unit has been an excellent home shredder. We have been cleaning the basement and shredding boxes of old financial papers. While it does work on stapled pages, it really only works when the staple is holding 3 -4 pages after that you really have to remove staples. Also it is a messy process. But all in all the unit is powerful and steady.

Cons: I do have to be aware of feeding tray, but for the price don't think you can beat this. Quality seems quite good. It may not be the fastest nor most powerful shredder, but I love that I don't have to sit and manually feed it one page at a time.

This shredder is amazing. I put stacks of paper in all at once just to make sure that this machine does what it advertises and it does, I haven’t had a paper jam yet and I use a nice weighted paper, it is pretty thick and still no paper jam. I would definitely recommend.
