I've been looking for bluetooth earphones primarily for making phone calls on the move (in car, airports, etc.) I read hundreds of reviews and tried others but was not happy until I got the Dash Pros.
Fantastic phone call quality. No clipping or garbling. Almost no background noise for the other caller, even in the car with the window open. The ear bone mic takes the sound conducted through your body instead of fighting outside noise. And it still sounds like you on the phone.
The multiple ways to manage actions is helpful. Use the phone, use touch interface, use your phone assistant (i.e. Siri) or use hands-free head gestures. I love nodding my head to accept or shaking my head to reject a call.
I tried wearing them non-stop for long periods - they fit very well and are comfortable (minor irritation after a few hours with the charging pins, but really minor). Fit was great out of the box. No issues with looseness or falling out even with vigorous motion. Working out and moisture from sweat and shower are not problem for the Dash Pro and they stay in place.
With occasional phone calls and listening to music I am getting about 5 hours of use on a charge. No bluetooth dropouts. Not one. While running, working out with my phone across the room. In the car. In the shower....not one dropout.
Music quality? Pretty good. I'm not an audiophile, and if you are you should buy over-ear phones. But for earbuds it is pretty good. No active noise canceling but the passive is so good it is not necessary.
I am very very very happy with these earphones.
But I wasn't happy initially. I almost took them back. There was a problem charging (my personal charger didn't regulate the voltage well so I had to connect to another charger or my PC). Then I couldn't update the software because my computer didn't recognize the earbuds. The instruction and troubleshooting documentation is scattered and is poorly organized. Thankfully the online chat staff are helpful and the product is surprisingly intuitive, despite the complexity of the controls and software. You learn it quickly.
Eventually, when I was past the point of despair, it was determined that my USB cable was to blame and when I switched cables everything clicked and I went from frustration to elation within seconds.
The Bragi site link to the online store is broken so I can't create my account. The phone app gives me an error when I try to open the user manual. But other than that everything is great (now).
Great product and despite some holes in the documentation the company seems solid and supports their product.

Amazing Headphones/Experience for True Wireless

I think the best that I could have ever asked for comes out of these True Wireless earbuds. Even though these earbuds have a steep price, the product itself is amazing from the unpackaging of the products to real life experience music/movie listening. The battery seems sufficient for a full days experience and comfort for long term listening. Now I am a guy that likes a lot of bass in my music, after realizing that these are Trues Wireless earbuds, these are easily sufficient. I would definitely buy these True Wireless Earbuds!

Just picked these up at Best Buy, at $329 it's not worth it for what they are. Right out of the box updating this was a pain. It took multiple attempts to get the update to complete. Also the case charging design is flawed... the magnetic connectors on the earpieces need to align perfectly in order for this to charger properly. Speaking of charging, it's confusing AF as to know if this is fully charged or charging. Had to look at the manual. The stupid app also doesn't give the battery percentage so you have to rely on blinking lights. As far as sound quality goes, they are slightly above the AirPods which cost half the price.
Bass is on the weak side, I get better performance out of the Beats X which you can find for $99. Positives about this is that they are really comfortable in the ears and the transparency mode works pretty good so you can have these on your ears all day and can hear things around you. Also these don't stick out too much and don't look so obvious when you wear them. Call quality is pretty good too. However, if you want something with similar features, fitness, water proof, and better sound quality, get the Jabra Sport Elite when they go on sale from time to time for $199. Otherwise, stick with the AirPods or Beats X, or even JayBirds which all these are a better value.
These are overpriced IMO.

These are best wireless earbuds you can buy, they are not cheap but for the price you get an incredible package.
Because they are literally a computer that sits in your ear canal you need to give these time to get use to the numerous features but once you get the Hang of them they are as necessary as your cellphone. I own the headphone and these and the jabra sports and Bragi has a superior fit and features.
Although I did not own the precios generation I heard about the Bluetooth issues and I have to say the connectivity on these is better but not what it needs to be, I walk outside with my phone in my pocket and lose connectivity sometimes, this is where the jabra elite knocks bragi down, I never had absolutely any connectivity issues with the jabra sports elite.
All in all these are great but the bloutooth needs a boost.

These earphones are something else. The sound quality is unparalleled to any other in class. They sound as good, if not better, than V-Moda Crossfade M-100, which have great reviews (and I like a ton too)
The fit is comfortable, and they feel snug. I tried to shake them off (nothing too crazy), but they didn't budge. The case is well build and overall the construction quality is great.
The only thing I didn't appreciate was the tips seemed to be a bit beat up, they didn't seem used or anything, but the packaging seems to have scratched them, which is really surprising. I'm guess I got a bad batch, so I'm going to drop them an email to have replacements tips sent-a very straight forward fix.
I haven't explored all the features full yet, but they seem pretty exciting. Just based on the sound quality alone, they're worth the price to me-everything else is a bonus
The company's previous products have had their fair share of complaints, and (at an initial glance) seems like those have been corrected.

Bought these items a little after their kickstart funding had been completed, and initial pre-orders were sent.
Pros:
Awesome sound/blocking out external noise
look, feel and quality are good
Cons:
Battery life - cheaper headphones last longer (2-3 hour run time max)
Battery life of charger, continues to die without fully charging headphones 3 full times
Customer support and/or warranty were not helpful
Updates have caused headaches
app and settings are not as customizable as you'd like
Translating feature requires additional app and 'monthly' service charge
My Bragi Dash hit their warranty timeframe (1 year), and their customer support tried helping with the terrible battery life with every restart/reboot in the book, but would not take ownership to replace/fix my earphones.
After a little over a year, i am out $300+ and I'm stuck with sub-par earphones. save your money and buy better ones for cheaper!!

I replaced a pair of Apple AirPods with these Bragi Dash Pro earpods. The Apple AirPods were too odd and geeky looking sticking out of my ears and they lacked controls to do much of anything while listening to music. The bragi dash pro's are extremely comfortable - light and feel good in my ears - the sound is crystal clear - probably the best sound I have ever heard from earphones corded or wireless. I charged them up and updated the firmware without any issues. The app you install on your phone allows all kinds of control of things and you can also control things with taps and gestures and head movements. The build quality is amazing of the charging/storage case and earpods and the packaging is modern - cool - minimalist. The support online and in the app is fantastic from bragi. If you want the best earpods around then these are the ones. Well worth the price.

The Dash Pro are probably the best headphones I have ever owned. I have bought and tried several high end headphones. (Bose, Sony, Astros, etc.). There is a process when you first get these headphones. Read the manual, there are several things you must do before updating and using these headphones. Make sure you use a charging brick that comes with your iPhone not your iPad. iPad charger won't charge the case and or the headphones. (Less than 12W power brick). Before updating these headphones make sure everything is fully charged. Read the manual!! Once the full setup process is done you are ready to you these bad boys. There is a learning curve to everything. So make sure you look over everything. You can turn lots of features on and off. So if you don't like something turn it off. I had to run one run with them to figure them out. It also helped me figure out what features didn't work for me. Touch lock will be your best friend when it comes to water. So make sure you know how to work that feature.
The sound isn't the best ever. But it's the best I have heard when it comes to a workout headphone. Sound a lot better then AirPods.
Bluetooth works perfectly in all environments I have been in. I have had no problems with connection. I do wish these headphones could connect to multiple devices like the AirPods. Unfortunately you have to repair them to use on a different device. But this process takes 15 seconds. So if you want that feature get the AirPods. But Bragi has told me they are working on a software update to fix that.
Best workout headphones I have had. The on board music is the icing on the cake. Just having headphones for music when working out is a game changer. I plan to run a Marathon with these and qualify for Boston.
Just spend the pretty penny and buy The Dash Pro. They are 100 percent worth it!!

I was really hoping to like these headphones, I've been looking for a good waterproof pair of headphones for a while so I could listen to some tunes while I am swimming. Unfortunately I just couldn't get these headphones to stay in my ears. I tried every tip that came with them and nothing was able to provide a secure fit for the pool.
Also the sound quality and case design are a bit disappointing for headphones in this price range. I have a pair of Bose soundsport free headphones and they beat the Dash in: sound quality, fit and comfort, bluetooth connectivity, case design, and bluetooth pairing with other devices.
The Dash however does have some great features that the bose are lacking, like heart-rate sensor, activity tracking, audio-transparency, 4gb internal music storage, and of course an IPX7 waterproof rating.
I really really wanted to love these headphones but the comfort and fit, and audio quality for price were deal breakers for me. There is simply no way I would be able to take these swimming without having to fetch them off the bottom of the pool at least half a dozen times.
My advise to anyone that picks these (or any headphones) is to put them through their traces while you still have time to return them. some brands just don't fit everyone very well.

Let's start with the positive. Love the ID on these eyebuds. They look amazing and very comfortable to wear. Easy to use touch UI. Love the transparency feature. Bluetooth connectivity issue in Gen 1 has been much improved, Still has a few drops when phone in pocket while walking around, but definitely NOT unusable like Gen1. Love the addition of mobile app allow user to customize the settings of it.
Negative - making me want to return it. Sound quality is OK. However, Audio volume level not loud when set all the way to max. Doesn't give you that WOW experience. In-addition, Need More Bass. Wish they add some EQs to the app for customers to choose from. The ONLY earbud done extremely well in these areas is the Jabra Elite Sport. If these earbuds has the audio output performance of the Jabra Elite Sport. It would be the ultimate King of earbuds out there.

I’ve tried several wireless earbuds and these are the best by far. Only 2 things can be improved. 1 ) my hoodie seems to work the earbuds it thinks I’m doing it by hand 2) it has the feature of translating but doesn’t offer a language I need but does offer 40 popular languages. Hay what other earbuds can you going swimming with? What a great feature!!!

HUGE connectivity issues. Absolutely terrible product. After contacting their customer service department and explaining my issues. They suggested I buy and arm strap and ensure that the arm strap is on my right are and it works best near buildings... I think this is the most absurd suggestion that you can possibly come up with on a $300 price point of wireless headphones. I tested their theory. Indeed the phone strapped to the left arm (about 1.5ft from my right ear, the right ear piece is the Bluetooth connection point) it doesn't work. How absurd is it that $300 bluetooth headphones need to be 10 inches away from the phone strapped to your right arm. I warn you, do not buy this product.

I ignored the bad reviews and bought these. It was a mistake.
First, it took about 2 hours to get them updated. This after charging for about 2 hours. I have fast internet. A fast computer. But it still took forever with several error messages I believe were Bragi's problem.
Eventually got them paired and working. Figured out a sleeve that worked for my ears.
Ok. So charged them up all night to use on my a.m. workout. Blue fully charged "breathing" lights. Had to look that up. The manual doesn't give clear instructions on colors/breathing charging states.
Case led green. Good to go, right? But I take them out and now they're red, when they weren't just a moment ago in the charger. So no charge. Can't use.
OK. Charge them for tomorrow. Put them on, go cycling. Dead after 30 minutes. Wind reduction doesn't really work. Neither does sound transparency. The wind reduction mostly reduces the noise the transparency creates for wind. That's it. Music sounds terrible. Can't hear the menu voice. Can barely hear and be heard during phone calls.
Worked on couch and at the office ok. Sounded mediocre. Used for several hours a few times. They can hold a charge, so mine are not faulty. Hands free gestures are a nice feature.
Practice charging so I don't have any more surprises.
Second bike attempt. Fully charged, I understand all the features, etc. Made sure they are fully seated in charger, etc. Dead after 5 minutes! Are you kidding me?
I returned them. This product needs work. They sound terrible. Transparenvcy didn't really work. Neither did wind reduction. Calls and menus on a bike were basically impossible. Worst problem is the charged indicators are unreliable. Charge them up, find out when you take them out they aren't. Or after a few minutes' use they aren't.
Waste of time and money.

Hello,
We appreciate your review and your thoughts.
We are very sorry to see you had some issues with your The Dash Pro and you didn't enjoy fully the features and all the great experience out of it. However, it seems like there were some things that could have been improved from the beginning. We are quite confident if you would have contacted our support team or check out our YouTube Channel in the section getting started, you would have solved most of the issues you described.
The main issue here it seems like your The Dash Pro was not seating properly in The Charger, therefore The GoldenPins were not making contact with The Charger, this is why you had issues with the update as you mentioned. Note that the update process shouldn't take more than 10 min. This also generated in not being able to charge your device. It would also be interesting to know if you were using the USB cable provided by Bragi or a different one since this makes a big difference. This can only be identified with a nice chat.
We are very sorry you didn't have the chance to get to experience the full experience and we will be more than happy to welcome back and provide you with all the support you might if contact our Customer Support Team.

In my search for true wireless earbuds I spent a lot of time reading numerous reviews, and I ended up purchasing the Bose Soundsport Free, and the Bragi Dash Pro. Here's why I returned the Bose and kept the Bragi:
PRICE
Even on sale, these were about $80 more than the Bose, but they're also $50 below regular price which is significant to me. At this price point I would totally say they are worth the money. I might have even paid more for them. It's like you took every earbud out there and combined the features.
COMFORT/FIT
They are comfortable to a point, but the Bose eartips are way more comfortable. After a while these can hurt my ears (a couple hours). However, I am willing to live with that because they DON'T COME OFF WHEN SWIMMING OR JOGGING! Bragi's rep assured me that "no swim cap is needed. They won't come out." And they were right. I've been on multiple swims with these and the "seal" is better than any other underwater earpiece I've tried (3 of them). There is no such thing as an earpiece that won't let water in but with these it's minimal compared to others and the sound is great underwater. It's only a little tricky to use the controls when your fingers are wet. They do well when running but it is tricky to get the right seal/fit in your ear without it feel like someone is plugging your ear. It's easy to jam them in too far and then it's uncomfortable. Try the different tips and sleeves and adjust as necessary. It is also very low profile and inconspicuous compared to the Bose. The one thing I hated about the Bose is how bulky it is and how it sticks out of your ear.
SOUND
These sound good, not great. The Bose on the other hand has this rich, full, powerful sound that I think would be hard to beat. Although the Bragi has a better "seal" so you don't hear outside noise as much. The noise isolation is kinda incredible seeing how there's no active noise cancellation. There's a distinct difference between the foam eartips (better) and the fit sleeves. But the foam tips are not durable at all and are useless once they get too wet. 7.5/10 for Bragi sound vs 9/10 sound for Bose. For this price point it should sound better but it is still pretty good.
BLUETOOTH/FEATURES
Despite numerous negative reviews, I have not had major bluetooth connection problems with these. I think Bragi took feedback from the first version and improved it. Again, bluetooth connection isn't perfect with this but I experienced about the same level as the Bose, which was acceptable. I tried a couple of phone calls and that worked well too. It sounds a bit like the person on the call is in a vacuum but it comes out loud and clear. Not perfect but works well. The controls are amazing to me. They've managed to build the entire control system based on three actions - tap, swipe, and hold. It's relatively intuitive and after using it for a while it seems so simple (READ THE MANUAL PEOPLE). I also have had zero problems with the case and/or charging. This thing gets a pretty good charge and battery life and it seems even better when you use the internal music player. This is the #1 FEATURE to me - 4GB worth of music without bluetooth or streaming. AND it's water resistant? That is a home run. Another cool little feature is the ability to turn on or off (with a swipe) the ambient sound around you. You don't have to take the earbuds out when you pause your music and talk to someone.
I won't talk about the iTranslate integration and other small features but I think it's clear that this is the future of true wireless earbuds. Bragi's Dash Pro does everything and does it well enough to justify a purchase. And this is THE only option if you want earbuds you can swim with AND has all these other features, and won't come out in the water. If they can improve on some of the little things the next iteration will probably blow the other brands out of the water. If you buy this, and learn how to use it properly (especially for swimming or running), you will wonder why you didn't get one sooner ;)

I just got my bragi dash pro today at best buy. And I must say that they did a bang up job on these things this time. The only problem that I can tell so far is that when you're outside and you have your phone on the left side it start to cut out constantly. But maybe there's a lot of factors involved. But as soon as I put my phone on the right side I had no problem at all. I made a phone call with them and the person on the other end didn't complain. I'm a truck driver so I will be running them through the ringer. I hope and pray that they don't fail because I can tell you right from the start that I'm in love with these headset already. They sound way better than the airpods and I have those too. The music is very soothing even though I love heavy bass like the jam ultra earbuds I also bought from best buy. Those things are off the hook. But I bought these because we are moving into the artificial intelligence world and I can't wait to see how far they will push the envelope with the bragi dash pro. Well I hope that this helped you guys make a decision on your perches. The price is a little steep but if they keep improving their products it's worth it. $355.00 after taxes

I experienced charging issues after two months of normal usage due to what appear to be bent charging pins. The design is defective and won’t last much beyond warranty in my opinion. Bluetooth drops if wearing a hat or going more than 10 feet from iphone. Earbuds are easily crushed out of shape which pinches off sound. I would call this a failed attempt at the future if earbuds. Other brands of this type might be better. The auto menu us obnoxious as it kicks in when not desired. Battery life was short while working. Will update after response on warranty reolution if any.

Better Bluetooth than gen 1...

I own the original Bragi Dash and had serious issues with the Bluetooth connection/stability. I had to wear my iPod Nano clipped to my collar to maintain a steady connection while walking outdoors, which is absolutely ridiculous. Finally, Bragi reworked them into the Dash Pro and the connection is far better. It's not perfect by any means but I can at least put the iPod Nano in my pocket without constant sound breaks while walking outdoors...just from time to time. I wish the Bluetooth antenna was stronger still and I'd give this a 5 star rating.
