A reasonably priced offering of these movies for a library of movies. Good quality picture, better than the original version and the sound is quite good. I saw this movie when it was first out and with the advances in the technical delivery of new movies it is dated, but still interesting as it is a close representation of the original Bram Stoker tale and Mary Shelley's version of the horror tale. I like it for the quality and value.

I really hit "THE JACKPOT" with this purchase... The picture quality & clarity of these two horror picture classics, DRACULA & FRANKENSTEIN (on two separate Blu Ray discs), are unforgettable!!! I can other think of two other things to "top this"... The first thing being if this were a 3 pack including "THE WOLFMAN' with Anthony Hopkins & Benicio Del Toro (still at the $4.99 sale price) & #2 If I could've purchased these wonderful movies via BestBuy's "Upgrade & Save" if/when BestBuy were to ever bring that Program offer back especially in the very near future!!! Other than that, I really enjoyed this purchase for the movies at a "GREAT VALUE " & I'm going to recommend this to my family, friends & business associates without a doubt!!!

An Honest Review

Honestly, I'm just writing this review to collect the points I'll receive for writing a review. I haven't watched either film (yet). However, I have read "Frankenstein," the book, and I'm working my way through "Dracula", also a book. Since they're both classic novels, that have stood the test of time, it's safe to say that even if the film versions are "bad", the plot of each film should be good. Right!? Eh, stick to the books, just to be on the safe side. And rent the films for Halloween.

This was combo pack. Two movies I had not seen in a long time. This time I bought in BD just to get the deeper colors, sounds and any extras they might have. ANd I was VERY happy I did. Dracula was as great as I rememberd. Frankinstin was good. Not great, but good. Worked well just staying home on a cold California night (68*) and watching a double feature on a dark night.

This two pack, featuring Coppola's Dracula and Frankenstein, offers a lot of bang for your buck. With the exception of Keanu Reeves being cast as Jonathan Harker, Dracula is an almost perfect homage to the book and horror films of the silent era. Frankenstein isn't as good, but it's still a great bonus.

I had only seen Dracula before my purchase and figured that Frankenstein was a nice bonus, but I was pleasantly surprised on just how much I liked both films. Spooky, scary, and creepy to say the least. If you're a fan of the characters and throwback Gothic horror, these are for you.

No question that Dracula and Frankenstein are the two most iconic monsters in pop culture. These movies really do justice, and bring these monsters to life. Fans of the novels will really enjoy these. Gary Oldman is FANSTASTIC as Dracula. Check this out, you wont regret it.

I am giving 4 stars only because I watched Dracula after I read the book, and the book is my favorite of all time so sadly the movie didn't compare. The movie is really good, and likely great for one who hasn't read the book prior to viewing, so take my review as you will.

What is there to say - Francis Ford Coppola's version of Dracula is the best that there has been. Great storybook feel, appropriate macabre and Gary Oldman just kills it as Drac.
Video quality is great considering the transfer. Two movies for one price is unbeatable. Great purchase!

Bram Stoker's Dracula was a major hit when released back in the day. Today it feels a bit aged and slow in pace. But the acting and directing are still worthwhile. A nice accomplishment for director Francis Coppola. I purchased this double-bill to get my hands on the Frankenstein entry though. It's been difficult over the years to apprehend a wide-screen version of the film ( past releases of this have only been offered in full-frame only ). Not a major hit but I've always enjoyed it's story and pace of the film. The camera never stops moving but that was to keep you involved through the whole thing.

I enjoyed Bram Stroker Dracula & Frankenstein. The actors in the movies did a superb job but got somewhat bored with Frankenstein after the 1st hour. It's still a great classic. 4 out of 5 stars. Thanks.

Bram Stoker's Dracula and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein do indeed provide an excellent double-feature. I recommend starting in the afternoon because you'll want a hour or so to get settled down for the next one.
Watch them in either order - they are double-Great!

I had never seen the Frankenstein move in this set before and I'm glad I got it as it is a really good movie! I have always loved the Dracula movie but wanted it in Blu-ray format. These two movies together at the price Best Buy has it for is an amazing deal!

Movie Reviews: They're decent. Dracula is a better movie than Frankenstein.
Bluray Review: Not very good. These are older movies, so you can't expect much.

Brananagh's Frankenstein was fun but the the main event is Coppola's Dracula. Also, look out for a smoking hot Monica Bellucci as one of Drac's brides!

This is the first time i've been able to watch both movies from start to finish. Impressed by both with scripts and acting, plus special effects.
