This was an upgrade from my two BRV-X. Sound is night and day. Bass is solid. Highs are clear. The bass and treble help with that. It is a bit heavy, but once you set it down and hear it. You won't care. Turn it all the way up!

It is heavy @ 18-lbs. but does have pretty good sound. Bluetooth can get spotty. I have not checked to see how long the battery will last. I usually have the volume up( ie: battery won't last 14-hours.) Pricing could be lower than $349 to start. At this price a remote would have been nice or an app for your phone.

I really like my XXL, it has great sound and thumping bass. Bluetooth works as it should. It is heavy. I'm sure the big battery and the speaker magnets contribute to that a lot. I haven't drained the battery yet but have like four hours on it.

Great quality! Sound is great. Size is perfect to take anywhere even the beach or pool as it is water resistant. My son was expecting another brand for Christmas but fell in love with Braven. Now all his friends are asking for one.

Incredible Sound & Bass! Bluetooth speakers have come a long ways.

Well I say portable but you better make sure you have the strap with you because it is on the hefty side. Now with it being hefty you get so much sound and incredible range. You might even have to turn it down if you are close to it and want to converse with people. Love how rugged it is with the rubber ends, and everything sealed. I take it on the boat, to pool parties, and just have it playing everywhere I want music. Not to mention the 15 hour battery. I would make sure you just have your phone charging cord with you because I bet your phone will die before this unit will. Plus it charges your phone. Last but not least and has a bottle opener right on the strap. Now how can you go wrong.

The Braven - BRV - XXL Potable Bluetooth Speaker is a great sounding product. Although it is a little on the heavy side and quite pricey, it seems to be a durable product.

Durable. Easy to move around. Portable for indoor or outdoor use. Used outside at our barn party and inside to workout. Great sound and stays charged for a long time.

I am very surprised at the power and fidelity of the unit. Battery life is good and pairing has been problem free. It is better than expected!

Was looking for music to have on the go. This boom box is just that! It sounds amazing and its weather resistant. Took this thing to a birthday party, and had it playing behind some bushes in the backyard and everyone was looking up for the speakers. When they seen my music box, they were amazed at its sound. Love this thing.

I liked it but have a smaller one thats louder, this one however is dust and waterproof. Heavy

The Braven XXL is the perfect Bluetooth speaker when it comes to parties, camping or using it as a room to room speaker in your home. This speaker weighs quite a bit so it would need to be something that sits in the location where you are at. The sound is amazing and the power is extraordinary!

I purchased this speaker to go on vacation to a resort in the Caribbean and may I say it was the best purchase I ever made battery life was great as it was not used to full blast at the beach. Easy to carry and the bottle opener came in handy

This speaker is awesome!! I am highly impressed!! The bass is unbelievable!! It’s hard to believe that this much sound and punch comes out of this speaker!! I definitely would recommend and the price is really great also!!!
