The Brother MFC-J6520DW is just what my daughter needed to make her operational once again after her old printer died. The wireless feature allows her to maximize the use of her small apartment. Of all the printer manufacturers I have used over the years, Brother has the best track record for dependability, lower ink usage and lowest cost prints.

So far it's great, and we are pleased. Especially enjoy the WIFI setup, and NFC with our phones. Seems to be reasonable on ink usage, resolution is very good for our needs right now, haven't played with all the tweaks we can apply. Very happy with this purchase. Integration into our home network, a breeze.

This printer was very easy to set up wi-fi with the Wizard set-up. I was able to scan from my Apple laptop (10.11.6) with an app that appeared on my computer to join the printer, because I do not have a CD ROM slot. Pretty easy for a beginner like me. I do not use the fax, but the instructions for fax look confusing to me. I like the fact that it weighs 31 pounds, light enough to clean under. A photo can be printed without taking the paper out of the tray...very convenient!!!!! For personal use it really comes in handy with a 11x17 scan glass top!!!!

Quite good as an inkjet printer. It is very handy to be able to do 11X17 printouts and scans as I use the ledger paper outputs for a class i teach. Scanning is very good and high resolution. Printout of photos is OK but not great with respect to color rendition but then again it is not a >$2000 photo printer. It is pretty fast especially in BW mode. Fax capability is also a nice feature.

Did a lot of research before buying this printer. A leading consumer magazine rated it highly as well. It has many options to tailor it to your needs. It is very economical on ink. It is a bit noisy when printing, but overall I'm happy with it. We'll see how it holds up in the future.

this printer works great on my network. It has excellent features, from color to scan to print and especially for the size pages it can both print and scan, that was the key factor for my purchase. recommended unit.

I was looking for a new printer that prints color on 11x17. Brother had the best printers and the best price with that function. The printer works very well. Pleased.

Does an excellent job of printing and copying. I have not yet tried to FAX. One nice feature, which I appreciate, is that the computer does not have to be on in order to make copies. This is a large machine and it holds a lot of paper.

The printer is very easy to install; the instructions are easy to read and follow. It accommodates ledger size paper and that is the reason I purchased this. The printing quality is fine.

I have not used the fax, yet. When I do I will have to review the instructions. I had an easy time setting up the machine and I like it very much. It doesn't seem to use much ink. I can do double sided pages which saves paper. All in all, I am pleased with my purchase and I hope it lasts for decades.

My tech guy recommended a Brother (had an HP work horse before & it kept dropping off my computer/finally broke down) so I went with it. It prints way faster, which is great, & it's pretty quiet. It's VERY large though. I liked the idea of a paper feeder (not having to open the paper tray every time I wanted to print on checks) but it only holds ONE page at time & it's very sensitive & doesn't work easily (lots of adjusting). Easier to just open the paper tray - but then there is a lid on the tray so that's not easy (fast is the key in the office). Also, everything feeder is landscape (not portrait) which is so odd! Anyway, it's only OK. I've only had it a couple of week so can't say if I'd recommend it or not, yet. If I knew what I know now, I would not have chosen this model

Got tired fighting the "home" printers and stepped up to a more office like version. Its bigger but it has proved flawless and thrifty with the ink.
