We purchased this all-in-one copier, fax and printer because our old one stopped working. We are very happy with this new one because it is a lot faster, the copy are clear and it is a colored copier. Overall, great machine!

Huge upgrade from my previous MFC

I am coming from a previous Brother multifunction printer, so I thought I knew the basics about how these powerful machines work. However, I quickly realized that the technology has changed quite a bit from the time I purchased my old MFC and the time I received this new MFC. And, that’s a good thing. With that being said, I’ll go through some of the basics about this multifunction beast. Setup is very straightforward and flexible, giving you the option to setup via computer (Mac, Windows, etc) or mobile device. And, on top of that, you can setup the printer to work via wifi, via ethernet or via direct USB connection. I decided to setup via my Mac and using a wifi connection. But before doing that, I setup quickly via ethernet just to see how it worked and things went fine. I then setup via wifi which automatically disables the ethernet connection (even if you keep the ethernet cable plugged in). Anyway, at least on the mac, the Brother installer that you download from the support website takes you through the steps to get the drivers installed, the Brother iPrint and Scan app from the Mac App Store installed and then to completion. Once installed and connected, I printed out a test page and was amazed by the sharpness and the color of the laser output. Our previous MFC was a monochrome laser, so this is a huge step up for us. I also then configured my wife and my Macs to be able to scan directly to the machine and even setup some cloud services, including Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive. I think I’ve just scratched the surface in terms of what all this machine can do in terms of internet connected printing, scanning, emailing, etc and I’m not sure I’ll even use all of these features, but I imagine in a business environment, these things would/will come in handy. On the printer itself is a small, color, relatively low resolution (ie, grainy) touchscreen that works well and is pretty self-explanatory in that you can accomplish all of the desired features directly from the touchscreen. Being an Apple/MacOS/iOS family, this is actually our first AirPrint capable printer, so I tested out that feature on our iPhones. It didn’t require any kind of setup at all - the printer was discovered on our network and we were able to print directly to it without any issues. The MFC also has NFC capabilities, but I believe that will only work with Android devices, so I am unable to test it. Lastly, we don’t have a landline any longer, so faxing is another feature that won’t be used in our household. Regardless, however, we are extremely pleased with this Brother. Brother is pretty much the only brand printer or multifunction machine our family has owned (this is our third), so one can tell that we are so happy with this brand that we really don’t seek anything else out.

DO NOT BUY! Had two of these fail within weeks of purchase. We purchased one in Oct 2020 for our small office. Also purchased along with it $300 of Brother toner to have on hand. The first 2 weeks I was pleased with it, then over the next 2 months I fought with print quality. Not just small issues, flat out black wide lines everywhere. I tried everything that Brother service recommended, changed toner, I wasted so many toner cartridges and dollars. I had purchased Geek Squad's warranty when I bought the printer. Took it in for them to look at in January 2021. They said they didn't fix them so they gave me the purchase amount back on a gift card. With all the good reviews this printer had I thought maybe we just got a defective one so I ordered the same printer. BIG MISTAKE! The same issues within 2 weeks of purchase. Grateful I purchased the Geek Squad protection again. Will not buy Brother printers ever again!

I have been fighting black smudges and streaks since the day I got it home. Brother has sent me a complete new printer and a new toner, which helped for a couple weeks and then started again. None of the cleaning or maintenance procedures work or even help. I just opened a third support incident, and if this can't be fixed permanently I will be demanding a refund/return so I can buy another brand. I have only had this printer about 7 weeks!

Great features. 25 page per minute (for both color and black in white) printing is quite impressive. Air printing and NFC printing from mobile devices are big plus. Device has 3,7” touch screen color screen which was very helpful for setup (like joining networks, typing passwords or adding email accounts to the device) and any other everyday use. I especially like scanning features – option to scan to some of the many available cloud services (OneNote, OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, Evernote), to your computer, USB drive, network location, FTP, SharePoint, mobile device or to email address it’s very helpful. So many options that it makes hard to decide which one to use. Device also has feature which checks for new firmware and let you know when as soon as firmware update is available. Device has secure printing which is not feature I saw before. Copier has good coping options such as 2 sided copy, 2 in 1 (for both regular size document and ID), receipt and some other options which really makes this device very useful for everyday use. For fax I would just say - standard as they come. I would highly recommend this device for small business offices. Because of two things I listed under the “cons” I will must lover my review for one star. Pros: All in one (Fax, Printer, Scanner and copier) Laser device Air printing NFC printing Advanced scanning options High quality printing jobs Auto update Cloud and email services Cons: Weight - I find this device way too heavy for its size Toners and drum – currently very limited availability and pricey

Full Featured Printer For Home / Office Set-Up

The Brother MFC-L3770CDW Wireless Color All-In-One Printer is my multi-functional, home office, productivity assistant. Since I generate approximately 1,500 printed pages of construction, inspection reports a month I looked forward to setting this printer up and running it through my paces. What excited me the most was the two-sided printing feature, which would cut my printed reports in half. The two-sided printing not only reduces my paper use, but is easier for the viewer to read. My reports, which are read by architects, engineers, and building owners are much more condensed and professional looking now . WooHoo! Out of the box this printer weighs approximately 54 pounds and is on the heavy side to lift and move. So, be sure to have some help if needed. Although the printer is hefty it does not take a large footprint for installation. The dimensions are approximately 16 inches wide by 16 inches high and 20 inches deep. It fit perfectly in the location of my old printer. It took me approximately one and a half hours to unpack and hook up the printer. The Quick Setup Guide was most helpful in getting the printer unpacked and running. This Brother printer includes a Quick Setup Guide, CD-ROM Installer with Drivers and Software, Power Cord, telephone line cord for FAX connection, and starter set of 4 Toners with Drum Unit Set. Once the AC power was 'ON' I used the LCD touchscreen at the front and top of the printer to connect to my Wi-Fi network. I activated the CD-ROM, Installer for Drivers and Utilities, on my computer, which 'found' the unit and I made it my default printer. I was then ready to print. Over the past two weeks of daily use I have grown to love this printer. It is easy to operate and produces laser-sharp printed documents in color, and, or black print. I registered my printer at the Brother Support website and also downloaded the Online Users Guide, which is more comprehensive in detail to include drawings and illustrations. It is very helpful and convenient to to look up the myriad of feature settings and operations. I am not going to list all of the features and specifications of this Brother MFC-L3770CDW, but I will list the ones I think set this printer above all the rest. You can see all the features and specs at the Best Buy product website. Brother MFC-L3770CDW Features I Really Like: * Two-Sided Printing. You can activate this setting in 'Printer Properties' when you are actually ready to print out a document. You can select either automatic or manual printing. * Bright LCD Touchscreen. Allows me to quickly select a function, Fax, Scan, Copy, or 'Secure' Print, and, or, other settings. It also gives me the status of each of my toners' supply. It has a Tool icon, which allows me to set the brightness of the LCD touchscreen, general settings for FAX Scan, Copy, or Print. You can use either the LCD touchscreen or included software on your computer to change and adjust any settings or functions of this printer. * Generously Sized Main Paper Tray. Stores up to 250 sheets of quality, 20 lb plain paper. The Multi-Purpose Tray stores up to 30 sheets of 20 lb plain paper and the Automatic Document Feeder holds up to 50 sheets of 20 lb plain paper. * Fast Print Speeds. Up to 25 PPM in both Monochrome or Color. For two-sided printing this Brother will handle up to 4 sheets a minute – my new favorite kind of printing job. * Optional Connections to Printer. I can connect all my devices through the built-in wireless, Wi-Fi Direct, or connect my laptop or phone via USB. Also have used my Flash Drive through the USB port to print directly to this Brother printer. I choose the document(s) I want to print through the USB Icon on the Home Menu of the LCD touchscreen. It reads the documents off of my Flash Drive. * Quiet Printing, Scanning, and Copying. For all the print speed and work this printer does it is amazing how quiet it actually is. * Laser Quality Print and Copying. The text is sharp and smudge-free in monochrome and, or in color. However, printing out pictures is not high quality. This is not a photo printer, but the image quality is adequate for my field photo documentation. * Print-from and scan-to popular cloud apps directly from the 3.7" color touchscreen including Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote, OneNote, OneDrive, and Box. * The Manual Feed Slot accommodates printing on card stock, envelopes, photo paper and more. * Create Shortcuts on the LCD touchscreen of frequently used functions. I created a two-sided printing shortcut. * Print and scan without connecting to your local Wi-Fi network by using the NFC “touch to connect” Icon on the front of the printer to the right of the paper output tray. * iPrint&Scan App for remote printing on mobile devices is available in IOS at the Apple Store and Android at Google Play Store. You can check the status of the printer, toner, and print or scan remotely through various cloud services. From the Brother Support website you can download the Mobile Print/Scan Guide for Brother iPrint&Scan App for both Apple and Android. This is an extremely helpful Guide, which explains in detail all of the functions you can perform using the iPrint&Scan App on your mobile devices. It was a 'must' for me. * One Year Warranty and free online, call or live chat support for the life of this product. The Brother MFC-L3770CDW Wireless Color All-In-One Printer is a beast of a workhorse for me. When I am out of town on inspections I can remotely print out all of my notes and observations to my home office printer for later review. YooHoo! This printer allows me to make as many copies of my reports as I need quickly and cost effectively too. I highly recommend the purchase of this printer, especially if you require a high volume of printing on a monthly basis.

Bought this to replace a Xerox laser printer. I am very happy with this Brother printer. It does more than the Xerox for a smaller price. It was easy to set up and works effortlessly with my iMac. I like that it can print on both sides of the paper as well as copy onto both sides. I print a large number of booklets for a local theater group. It works very well with Swift Publishing to print the booklets. Overall I'm very pleased with this printer.

I have had a couple of Brother printers previously. I had an older Black/White MFC that would probably be about 20 years old now. I was using that printer up until the end of 2022 and it still worked great. I moved and left that printer and a Brother color laser behind. I was always very pleased with the Brother B/W MFC but I was not that pleased with the Brother color laser printer. It generally worked but it would occasionally error with a very strange error that could never be resolved but a power off and power on fixed it. I found that it would also not come out of sleep all of the time. I did a lot of research before deciding to buy this Brother color laser and, so far, I have been very pleased and have not experienced any of the problems that I experienced with the previous Brother color laser. While I have not done much printing, it has worked flawlessly from Windows, macOS, and Linux. I have also used the scanner a few times. Scanning to USB works great also. The only reason that I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that I have not had the printer that long and have not printed more than, at most, a couple of dozen pages.

This is a really good and reliable printer so far. I had it for a week. I wanted something realiable that would make my life easier. I wanted to be anle to print from my mac, ipad and iphone, it does that perfectly and I didn’t even did anything mac and the software do everything for you to set it up. (Yes I am lazy). The only con is that this is a really big printer for my home office. It use the whole space for an ikea side table (those that cost 8dlls) so kind of big. Be aware, if you pick it up at the store and you own a sedan, it will not fit in your car. I had to open the box in the parking lot in order to take it home. You need 2 people to carry it bc it is heavy. Other than that it really does everything you want

I bought this printer to upgrade my monochrome brother MFC7360N. Having the capability of duplex printing, wifi connectivity, single pass dual side scanning and color were important to me and this printer meets all my requirements. I have taken a few color printouts and the quality of photos is acceptable. Must say you should not compare the quality with a liquid ink printers. Documents are sharp and the color adds that little extra when needed. Setup was super easy and I had to just follow the instructions to connect to my home wifi. The downside, brother seems to have given up on macs. AirPrint is great but the older brother software control center was superb. I still use it on my PC for PC fax and direct scanning, my macs have to depend on the built in tools, which are great but fax was little challenging for me. Fortunately faxes are almost obsolete now! I was able to get scan to email and folder setup on the printer with reasonable effort and searching around. Scanning offers several options and both the flatbed and document feeder work pretty good. Costs of replacement toner cartridges is substantial but there are other cheaper alternatives that are compatible. Haven’t used one but use it regularly on my older MFC7360 without issues. Overall, a great home/home office printer or anyone wanting a decent multifunction perimeter for home.

Yes, I love it. So many features for the money. Imagine having single-pass, double-sided printing AND scanning from the ADF or glass. Easy setup out of the box. Working well with all my Apple devices - iMac, iPad, and iPhone. It's fast, makes great copies, easy scan setup. I may never use the fax feature, but it's there if I want it. It takes the place of my previous 2 printers: 1) an ancient Xerox color laser printer, which weighed a ton and could churn out color copies like crazy, but could do little else. Replacement toner cost a fortune, and 2) a good Epson inkjet all-in-one, which did well, very slowly, never a paper jam, and was finally brought down by a software update install which misfired, from which it never recovered. This Brother printer is not light or small, but is somewhat lighter and takes up less space than the old Xerox, and the toner is somewhat less expensive. For the money, it makes other manufacturers' printers seem like toys! Note it is not really a printer from which to make photo quality prints. I think its description and the reviews and comments say that. If that's what you want, you probably should look at a different model. It's just right for me.

Prints, scans and copies very well. Brother app makes printing from phones and tablets easy. We have 3 of these units in our office but we use the HP Neverstop to print because of the cost of toner refill. The expensive ink is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.
