Works seemlessly and cleanly. I tried to be clever and get a Toner Kingdom set of all the colors and two black cartridges off amazon for less than this single black cartridge costs. Whomp whomp. Neither of the black cartridges worked, and one of the three colored cartridges didn't work. In short, Best Buy sells stuff that works. You might pay more than on amazon, but you know that you're getting something that will just work, as well as the option to come into the store and ask knowledgeable employees questions and get answers.

The Brother printer is rated very high, the standard cartridge that came with the printer lasted about 3 months. With the XL cartridge I expect it to last almost a year. That would be great and a whole lot cheaper than the toner for any of the competition.

Takes a long time to use all the ink. True to page count. Ink jet is very expensive, but Best Buy can often give the best price with coupons and using their credit card!

Toner was easy to install. I bought the larger volume cartridge, so I would not have to buy one for a while. They re not that cheap but necessary if you need to print anything.

Handy to order on line. I live 45 miles from Eden Prairie and it's not easy to get there often.
