I chose this printer because I was impressed with the reviews all around. It's kind of scary buying a printer, but I knew I wanted separate ink cartridges for each color, so when I saw this one online, I did a bunch of research and felt good about it. I think it's a lot of printer for the price - does everything that our old, more expensive printer did and even more. Love the compact size and it was very easy to set up and start using. Prints nicely! We've had it a little over a week now. I will certainly update if my feelings change. We've had Brother printers before, so I am looking forward to this one lasting a good while.

Nice compact size printer for the home office. Limited paper tray capacity so better for small to medium volume requirements. Had no trouble connecting the wireless feature and I am a tech dummy. One reason I purchased this model was it has a wired connection option, just in case I had trouble with the wireless feature I could just use a cable. There were step by step videos on every step of the set up process which was great. I don't do a lot of printing so the print quality and the lower cost of the unit and the ink made it a good choice for me.

We’re coming off of 2 mid-level Epson printers in past 7 years. When the most recent one just quit and after all efforts to revive, the need for a printer was immediate due to working at home during the virus lockdown. We felt it was just time for a brand change.
Liked what we read around the internet about Brother printers, particularly in tech mags-blogs, etc.
You’ll need an hour to fully set this little gem up from unpack to done, including all downloads, firmware update, free app from Brother, testing of copy-print-scan from desktop-laptop-phones.
But there was never a hitch. Even on wireless connection that required nothing beyond entering the unit password from back of printer that can be changed later.
Everything comes with inside the box, instructions, on-screen setup are a breeze and clearly explained.
We’re impressed with the ease of use for this printer and quality of copies, scans, etc.
Everything seems to be more than fast enough (print-copy-scan-load) and the device user panel is large enough for any finger size, well laid out and more intuitive than not. A nice touch is the tilt option for the user panel allowing you to raise it for easy read since most printers are probably not on anyone’s eye level.
Ink slots are in front, another welcome feature and a cinch to use. And YES, unlike some other makes-companies, there is enough ink provided in enclosed cartridges to get you on your way for a good spell.
All in all, we have zero complaints or issues at this early stage and this printer seems like a very decent, high-quality deal for steady home small-office-business use at this price point well below $100.

It does what its supposed to do. I purchased this printer to replace an HP OfficeJet 6700 that I adored because I got it from Goodwill for less than $10. It served me well for about 3 years. Duplex printing, quality color images, fast black and white printing, everything i needed until some tiny dumb part broke that was a cost prohibitive repair.
It took me forever to decide on a printer. Plus, it was almost impossible to locate a home office printer since so many are now working from home. Had my eye on an Epson, but the ink was too expensive and the new models for most printers seem like they restrict 3rd party ink.
I love this Brother's small size and sleek shape. It's unobtrusive in my office space. The low price of the ink was a huge selling point. The printing is fast but I don't know if it's my paper or the ink...my color images are so light and there's a bit of bleed. I haven't played around much with settings, but I need to print proof images sometimes.
Overall, I'm happy with the standard printer functions and the scanning.

I bought this system after becoming frustrated with two much higher costing epsons.
Epsons ink costs kept increasing and the wireless kept disconnecting. My wife also had a lot of difficulty working with the Epson.
This brother brand is much easier to use, ink is less costly, and the setup was easy.
Wireless is so much more reliable. I plan to stay with this brand.

Brother - Reliable and Dependable

Very nice equipment. Brother has proven in our household to be reliable and dependable for many years. What drew my attention to this product is that it has the capability to allow the consumer to use a high yield cartridge allowing more copying from one cartridge. 400 copies from the high yield cartridge, 200 from the lower yield. It is quiet. It does double sided copying. Not a bulky piece of equipment. This consumer is very very satisfied. Thank you Best Buy.

I searched for weeks for an all-in-one printer to use at home while working remotely. I found this Brother printer on the Best Buy web site. The price was right and the reviews were good. I have had it for about a month now and it did not disappoint! The setup was quick and easy. The quality is great and the speed isn't bad. This is an excellent choice for the price. Very satisfied!

Best Printer Under $100

One of the best printer under $100. This printer is compact. Fits nicely on bottom of my space saver desk. Easy to install. I am really surprised that it has auto-feeding for scanning. Also it has automatic dual side printing. I bought a printer cable to connect this to my work dongle and it is also connected to my wifi network.
Honestly I can't share my experience on print quantity as I barely printed 20-30 pages. For me it will do what I need it for. No less.

This is my second Brother's printer. I had the other printer for quite a while. I had no problems with it. I finally donated it to a friend. I decided to purchase another Brother's printer and so far I am having the same good results like the other one. I like the fact that this one is a wireless printer. The printing quality is excellent. The ease of use is also excellent. I purchased this printer with a gift card that was given to me for Mother's Day. We love it.

I was amazed at how affordable this printer was for all of the features it provides. It’s also relatively compact for competitors offering a similar amount of features. I don’t print that often and didn’t need a printer that was overly expensive and the highest quality. This printer is perfect for my needs and the print quality seems to be pretty good. Haven’t tried to print any pictures though to really test it

I have had a brother printer previously that I used throughout college and even after graduation that I absolutely loved so when we were in the market for a new printer for our home office there was no question we wanted another Brother. I absolutely love how fast and easy this one is to set up and use. We had it running in under ten minutes and it is quick and quiet. The paper tray is small but it works great for what we need and it makes the printer unit very compact. I would highly recommend!

Every year or so, I find it is simpler and often cheaper to replace an ailing inkjet printer than try to fix it or even replace the ink. I don't use one that much, mostly use my Brother laser which is several years old. So often the ink dries up, head clogs or some other malady. I've had HP, Canon and Epson printers, this year I am trying Brother.
So far I am impressed with the Brother inkjet's features and print quality. It seems stingy on ink as after several photos and numerous color copies, I'm still on the sample ink cartridges.
Setup was easy for a wireless networked shared printer, although you have to load drivers on all machines from the CD or download. It is Air Print capable, so it works on all Apple devices.
Two-sided printing and scanning is a major plus, although you cannot use the ADF for two sided scanning.
The only serious shortcoming is the lack of a manual paper feed for this model. It will take anything that can be put into the letter size paper tray. So legal size is a pain. It is doable by letting it hang out of the paper tray one sheet at a time. For a machine with as many features as this one, I cannot understand the lack of a manual paper feed and is the reason it gets 4 stars.
Time will tell as to whether it will continue the quality printing beyond a few months or year. But, it and others have been cheap enough to throw away and start over. Now it is Brother's turn to impress.

I have had lots of printers n this is by far the best! It's easy to use n not expensive. I love hoe the screen is adjustable so you can read it. The screen flips out the different angles which was a selling point for me. I bought this at best buy n also purchased the replenish deal with it so when I start getting low on ink they ship me new ink. You pay for the ink, but not expensive. I love how it's wireless! I'm so happy with my Brother all-in-one!

This is an excellent printer for home use. Reasonably priced and yet it performs all the multi functions (printing color & b/w, copier, scanner, etc.) you can ever need. We found the print quality to be excellent and while it may be a bit slower on multi page printing, it still work efficiently. The best part if that it is wireless with a supper easy connection to wifi and simple to use! Excellent Printer!

Very good printer for the money. Have owned Canon, HP, and now this Brother. This is by farther than any Canon I have ever owned which cost a lot more than this. This is also cheaper and better than any HP I’ve owned. This was easy to setup, much quicker start time than Canon and equal to or better than the HP. For the price you can’t beat the quality.

I haven't had this printer very long so I'm not sure about toner usage. But I read the reviews before buying and they were spot on. It was easy to hook-up, takes less space and pretty simple to use. I am so done with hp printers that seem to be unreliable over time. We'll see how this goes!

This printer, fax, scanner and copier machine does everything I need and it was so inexpensive. The function buttons are a little
confusing at first but it does so much and easy to use.
The cartridges will cost over time but so does making copies at a retail store. and it is in the convience of my home and at my time.

I was in the market for a new wireless all in one printer. I didnt want to speand more than 100 bucks. The competition was HP and Epson, but i liked this one. the printer itself is not too bulky and it does a good job of printing. For the price i am satisfied. I mostly use it for school and basic printing nothing fancy.

When I first got it, I was hooking it up and was surprised on how easy it is and how awesome this printer is built. The USB cable goes through the printer and not just on the side or in the back. It looks and works like a champ and I even had a mishap happen when the printer was jamming and this thing is still working! The jam was my fault caise I didnt set it up properly but I know better now and man, this printer is awesome. It simple and easy and for the price, you cant go wrong. Ink is cheap too!
