Excellent product, a tiny bit heavy but protects my iPad perfectly and holds a charge well.

I have on several bridge keyboards, but this one was not one of my favorites. It is very bulky, and while I get the concept of having a detachable case for your iPad, it leaves a lot to be desired. The keyboard is nice and types well, but the bulkiness and weight make it extremely difficult to carry around regularly. The case is good quality, but you can get a much nicer one for way less. I ended up returning this and getting the hinged version instead.

This adds a lot of bulk and weight, but its a decent little unit if you can pick it up for a Good price. Plus if you have bigger hands, thr accidental touches on the touch pad get annoying. I use it for business and it is definitely rugged enough for my application. Plus the removable case is a nice touch. Just be aware if you have the 4 gen ipad pro, it will cover the speaker grills a bit. Other than that its a decent little device.

Great case! I love this case for many reasons. The ease of removing the iPad is awesome. The fact that it stays in place when open is great. Makes it easy to use anywhere. The pencil holder is great. The backlit keyboard is awesome. The response time is great and the trackpad makes using it easy without having to touch the screen. Overall, this is a great case. I will definitely purchase this brand again when I get a new iPad.

I have tried the Logitech Combo Touch, and the Apple Magic keyboard and this is my first non smart connector keyboard. The price was right so I figured why not, and I must say I am not disappointed. While it does add some heft to the iPad itself (I think it weighs as much as, if not slightly more then the iPad). I had 2 main concerns going into this purchase, and while 1 is still a head scratcher, the other was the connection of Bluetooth vs the Smart Connector. Any past experiences with bluetooth have centered around that slight input lag one gets between keypresses and the initial connection and connection drops here and there. It seems Brydge addressed the connection issues with something they call Instant On, which keeps your keyboard connected, via Bluetooth 5.0, for something like 4 hours after last registered input. Sure after that, you need to reconnect (something which is avoided if using the Smart Connector), but even that itself is swift. I also noticed little to zero lag on keypresses, and the trackpad is responsive . The trackpad is not like the offerings on the Combo Touch or the Magic Keyboard, as the whole top portion is not a pressable area (this is negated if tap to press is used, which I do). It supports gestures and does so pretty well. Now a few pros and cons Pros: - Comes with a protective case, that uses pretty strong magnets to "snap" into place against the back - keys and multi-touch trackpad are responsive with little to no lag input -Charges via USB-C, and they claim 40hrs life with backlights on. Charging the keyboard itself is also pretty zippy. This can also be a con, if one prefers to use the iPad as the power source via the Smart Connector -Keyboard lighting. Has 3 modes of brightness but only 1 color. Yes this is nit picky but I like having red or blue or purple as an option (Zagg has this option) so this is a pro and a con -Claims to have an antimicrobial coating, which in todays days and age is a big thing I guess Cons: -Weight. Since this has its own internal battery, this is a pretty beefy keyboard. -When the iPad is inserted, it becomes somewhat top heavy. There is no stand portion to flip out -Apple Pencil groove relies on the magnets to hold pencil in place. This one annoys me the most. Logitech and Apple are both guilty of this and I do not know why. If you slide your tablet into a bag or pick up the device wrong, the pencil will more then likely pop off. It doesn't take much to add a small strap or flap or something to help secure the pencil more but nope, not on this or other more expensive offerings. (grrrrrrrr) -This may or may not be a thing, but the keyboard portion is not very solid. If you pick up the device, while open, by the keyboard, there is a degree of flexibility that I am not sure I am comfortable with, depending where the battery is of course Overall, it is a decent option for those who do not want to spend 150-300 on a keyboard for their iPads, especially when it is on sale like this. If it was full price, I might consider other options but on sale, I would recommend it. Now I have to go try and fashion my own strap or something because my iPad goes in and out of bags a lot during the course of the day and if it keeps popping off the pencil, it will get more annoying real quick.

The best clamshell case for the ipad! The greatest feature is the ability to remove the ipad from the case with ease. AND... turns the ipad into mini laptop with the fully functional trackpad.

This is the keyboard I've always dreamed of. I've owned a few other brands and the Brydge has them all beat. Long battery life, easy to set up, and the return on the keyboard is fantastic. It really does turn your iPad into a laptop.

I recently purchased this item in conjunction with the purchase of a new iPad Air. Very pleased with this item, although there is some weight to it. IPad can be easily attached and removed from the keyboard and, when closed, the keyboard functions as protection for the iPad screen.

Reminds me of the protection of the OtterBox. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the weight, which is really heavy, and the keyboard is really small.

This product is super neat, love the capability of detaching the iPad and having a durable case & easily being able to reattach & use with the sustainable keyboard. The last thing I wanted was for this product to be flimsy, but super durable. A must buy.
