Thisbis a great way to save space on your desk. The quality is almost perfect. I say almost though because the inner black plastic feels very cheap. But the rest of it is solid aluminum which feels pretty darn sturdy. The first reason for me docking two stars is the fact that it has scratched up the type c ports on my laptop. This doesnt bother me too much, but it sucks knowing that it will never be perfect again. I did use the protectors that came with the dock, but it didnt really do much. Those protectors just prove that the company has a known issue that they couldnt be bothered to properly solve. The second issue i have is the cost. For the price, i would expect the dock to actually do something. Perhaps provide some sort of feature. It doesnt. It litterly holds your laptop upright and re-routes your type c ports to the back. In order to attach your laptop to a screen, youre going to need to purchase a seperate dongle. This is REALLY pointless if you ask me. I cant think of a single customer whos going to spend this kind of money on a charging dock (no AC adapter included). Did i buy it? Yes. Will i return it, probably not. It was a business purchase that didnt come out if my own account. Would i ever purchase it with my own money? Heck no.

Great product .. but will not work if you have a case on your macbook

It is just the base docking station, no power cords. You need to spend another $79.00 to buy an Apple adapter and power cord.

This makes connecting my MacBook to a monitor a breeze. I’m also able to keep a tidier workspace with the laptop vertical like this. And when I’m taking my laptop with me, I just grab it and go. Absolutely worth the price. Well built with a premium feel.
