    Made my GE lights more usable

    I bought 6 c-sleep bulbs earlier this year to dip my feet in IoT devices. They were Bluetooth only and only worked with the google home app. I quickly realized given the devices already in my home, HomeKit could be a better solution. Had to buy this to get HomeKit compatibility basically. The bridge was a bit temperamental with setup (as are the bulbs), but factory resetting both the bridge and the bulbs made it all work. Now I’m using my GE lights again, after I had abandoned them for Hue. In the end, this product was only worth it for the HomeKit addition. As a result, I am now more interested in buying additional GE bulbs to go with my Hue lights. More options is always better

    We have Alexa’s in our apartment and received the google home lights as a house gift but in order for them to work with Alexa we needed this hub. The hub seemed to have connection issues and only allowed us to have one person use the app at a time.

    Super easy to use. Good app to. Works with Alexa easily. Great value (especially compared to some of the pricey alternatives !)

    Returned this before using it because the light bulbs by GE said they already communicated with Alexa and Google. However, the light bulbs do not communicate with Alexa on their own so if you want GE bulbs you may have to use this. Best strategy is probably to pick one brand of smart bulbs and stick with them. I returned BE bulbs as well. They do not fit in all light sockets and do not work with Alexa on their own. Plus the App itself is cumbersome and not nearly as intuitive as other brands.

      Apologies for any confusion about the labeling. The bulbs can pair directly with a Google Home voice assistant, while a hub like C-Reach is required to connect the bulbs to an Amazon Alexa unit. Our bulbs are standard A19 socket and should work with fixtures of that type. We appreciate the feedback on the app, and we'll continue to work on improving the user experience.

    Easy to set up but must use the app don’t just add it to HomeKit this way it will add your lights. My mistake was I added it to home kit not the app as a device!

    This items was easy to install and works great. It allowed me to use Alexa to turn on and off my lights.

    Would have been fine for bulbs but I bought it for switches. I should have dug a little deeper. It doesn’t work with the c by ge switches.

    Not impressed with C by GE. My home is Automated with HomeKit. The C by GE lights performed so poorly I gave them to my son as he has zero automation in his home and wanted to see if they were awful. He probably gave them away or filed them in file 13.

    Works great, but can be a bit frustrating to connect completely. Just make sure it's got a clear shot to your router for best results

    Ge bridge

    Great when it worked. Only worked for a couple of days then stopped. Reset it and same thing happened then would not reset again. Returned it and bought a smart plug now lights work fine.

    This is by far the least user friendly automated home solution I've ever experienced. It was very difficult to sync up with Alexa (why should I need a separate device to do this with lights anyways?) and once I got everything synced up, the firmware update it fed my light bricked it.

    This bridge is needed for HomeKit integration, but is a bit klugy when it comes to software implementation.

    If this is a Smart Bridge, they need to make it smarter. I tried and tried for at least 2 hours to make this work and could not. Eventually returned to Best Buy for a refund. I wished it would've had worked.

    Setting this up is a mess, especially if you’re trying to connect it to HomeKit. With mine, I ended up returning it because it wouldn’t let me change light colors through HomeKit.

    We had a terrible time with our kitchen lights but after we got a C-Reach it was much better...not perfect, but better.
