I hadn't seen the film in about 20 years and expected to be disappointed. However, I was shocked by how funny it is still. Campy? Incredibly! But there's 90 minutes of nostalgia with an unbeatable cast. I may have tired of constantly rewatching it back in the day, but enough time had passed to make it fresh again. Plus, it's a far cry better than Cannonball Run II and I can't even begin to tell you how much better it is than the horrendous third installment, Speed Zone (aka Cannonball Fever).

I watched this movie not too long ago, but it's one of the most light-hearted and goofy films that I've seen. Burt Reynolds leads an all-star cast in this film, and if you're looking for a fun diversion from the world right now, here you go! I wouldn't give this an excellent rating because the story isn't perfect, but I will continue to recommend this movie because of how much of a great time I had with it.

Blame CoVid-19! My boss was discussing how he would be unable to get to San Diego from Boston with the company prohibiting air travel. He said "I'm going to drive" and I shouted "Cannonball!" The I realized it had been decades since I saw this treasure. They don't make screwball comedies like this with A list celebrities anymore. It's hilarious. Buy it, watch it, laugh.

An all time classic at a great price!! The Cannonball Run is one of my all time favorites!! The Blu Ray looks fantastic and it looks crystal clear!! Terrific price of $9.99 definitely a fantastic bargain!!

This movie is dated but Best Buy had it on a super sale for $3.99. It had been years since I watched it so I plunked down the money. Great fun to watch. You can tell the actors had a hoot making this movie. If you are looking for some in-depth movies that explores the meaning of life and your place in just keep on looking. This one is just for a few laughs and to remember how much fun movies could be in the 1980's. Nice nostalgia and cute 1980s girls.

I grew up watching Burt Reynolds in his funny, action packed movies and still do to this day. Good, clean and mostly wholesome movies, he never disappoints. I showed the movie to my children and they loved it. When I get the blues or their is nothing on TV, I pop in a Burt Reynolds movies and I'm transported to happier times.

If you haven't seen this movie in a while, revisit it now in glorious high definition! The sound, however, leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn't take away from the nostalgia though. If you didn't grow up with this movie you might want to just check it out on cable as you're flipping through channels. Do people even do that anymore?

The raw chauvinism and social/cultural ignorance actually add to the experience of watching this funny film of... what... almost 35 years?? For me, the one of the best parts belongs to Jackie Chan who is rehashing his character from Armor of God and just splicing it in. Also the gags with Roger Moore *not being Bond* are also worth watching. And Farrah Fawcett hawtness in her prime.

With a script that's uninspired and humor that's beyond juvenile, the potential appeal of this movie stems from the cast's relentless endeavors to make their own fun in spite of everything. Their self-amusement is the source of what entertainment is to be found. While the typical trademark Reynolds-DeLuise chemistry is for the most part disappointingly weak, their outtakes in the closing credits might be the highlight of the show.

Cheesy yet wonderful childhood memory of the first time I seen the opening with the Lamborghini Countach LP400!

Another great movie brought back some serious memories growing up watching this movie and now I have my very favorite movie to watch again and again without commercials.

Although there are several socially unacceptable behaviors (e.g., driving while drunk; speeding putting others at risk), if these are overlooked, there's non-stop laughter from scene after funny scene. The dialogue is hilarious. Dom Deloise and Burt Reynold have great chemistry. How the actors and and actresses kept a straight face while filming is amazing.

Just as chaotic and hysterically funny as 'It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World' with many of the day's well known actors, in roles you don't expect to find them which adds to the fun and comedy in the cannonball-fast moving plot that makes this movie a joy to watch. Highly recommended to break the boredom of any rainy day. Watch it with a friend or two.

I am very satisfied with my recent purchase from best buy . The movies make excellent Christmas presents and cannonball run is a awesome movie know matter how old you are. The package arrived promptly and was packaged well so thank you very much.

I can’t even count the number of times my brothers and I watched this movie as kids. We could practically quote it for the longest time. It never stopped being hilarious to us. When I saw this for just $3.99, I had to add it to my DVD collection. I hope it’s still as hilarious as it was when I was 11.
