    Canon Copier/Fax/Scanner

This model replaced an older Canon printer that worked very well for a small office. The new model has a touchscreen that sticks off the body of the copier. It is not very responsive, requiring a very light touch and repeated attempts to respond, especially when typing in Fax numbers. The screens for simple tasks are also confusing and not very intuitive. Miss our old model. But it is quiet and fast and prints great. Scanning to a USB drive works better than on old model. The paper feed drawer is quite small and is very unsecured when you remove it to load paper, almist ejdvting knto the floor. Seems flimsy compared to the soliy made body of the printer. Other than the frustrating touchscreen and the flimsy drawer, it produces great copies fast, is reasonably quiet and performs its functions well.

Going from an inkjet to this printer is like night & day. I used to spend a good portion of my time individually scanning one sheet at a time which was tedious and frustrating. With the Canon MF733, I can load my pages in the feed and automatically scan numerous at a time which is the main reason I choose this printer along with the reasonable price. Hint - when I first scanned in black & white, the quality was not as good but then I downloaded the scan driver/software and go through my computer program and it's perfect. That process took a little time to figure out but now it's great. I'm curious to see how long the toner last... that is the only area I am still leery about since toner is so expensive. I would definitely recommend this for a small business especially over an inkjet printer.

This printer is going to be way more economical than the inkjet printers I have to replace every few years. Color looks great. Not a photo quality product though. If you want to print portraits you will want something more expensive.

I have switched my loyalty to Canon from HP. Am impressed with the fast output and scanning multiple pages is easy! No longer bothered or delayed by the constant re-calibrations that were a part of my HP laser printer routines (every hour).

I've had this printer for about two weeks now. It was incredibly easy to set up. You can tell them really put some thought into the design of the setup process. As of now, it works just as I had hoped. It stays connected to WiFi and print and copy functions are quick and reliable. Would recommend.

So far, the printer is working as advertised. Set up was easy using the manufacturer’s on line instructions for iOS computers. I tested printing from laptop, iPhone and iPad with good results. So far so good with the MF733CDW.

This is a very nice color laser MFD. The print quality is excellent, in both color and black and white. I was also pleasantly surprised by the scanner's effectiveness. It can scan both sides at once, at 600dpi. My last scanner could do both sides by flipping the page over (which often caused jams), and it could only do 300dpi in duplex mode. The only drawback is the somewhat high cost of the toner cartridges, but the high capacity cartridges help. I got this unit on a big sale at Best Buy ($310 instead of the usual $529), so the machine itself was a fantastic deal.

Replace old HP unit. Easy set up. This is a heavy unit. This far we really like it. For photo brochure it’s not quite as vibrant as the HP. But it was half the price. The photo quality is acceptable for our needs.

After using cheap ink jet printers for years and the frustrations that go with them, I decided it was time to go the laser route for my newsletter. This is my fourth laser and the best to date. It automatically flips the page saving me a lot of time. It also does duplex copying and scanning.

    My first Color Laser Printer

I've been holding off on color laser for a while, because mostly I can do those projects with my inkjet just fine. During a sale, I saw this one for about the same as what I usually spend on the monochrome lasers. Our office usually needs a replacement approximately every 8 years, so it is only a matter of time before the next became necessary. Canon has been our go to for most of the time we've been there. This one has a smaller tray (not a full ream) compared to what I'm used to. Otherwise it seems to work great. Make sure the paper feed tray (copier) has the width spanners hugging the page to prevent uneven pull and crooked photocopies. Also prints with tiny blue dots on the page when color printing for some reason... otherwise great printer.
