It may be a little bit heavy but personally, it is my purchase of the year. I am only a beginner in photography and it is really easy to use.

I had the Canon 60D for about five months now, and the camera proves to consistently provide top notch quality pictures. I took a photography class to learn the basics, and with this camera, I am able to capture moments with friends, family, and of the environment. Video recording quality is really good as well. One thing I noticed though is that compared with Canon T3i, this camera is definitely bulkier, and heavier to carry. Also, silent shutter sound for me is not so silent.

I bought this camera about a month ago after doing a thorough research for about a year. I am happy that I took the time and made the right decision. This is for my hobby and I am very impressed with the quality of the pictures, the features, and the ease of use. I love nature's picture like ocean, mountain, forest etc. Recently I took a trip New Hampshire and took quite a bit of pictures in landscape. The pictures came out awesome. I tried every possible set up, manual, auto, various shutter speed, aperture etc, to make myself educated and I did not find it too difficult. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This is a very high level camera. I didn't realize what I did not know about cameras until I bought this one. It takes great pictures and when I learn how to use it, it will take excellent pictures! For the price of this camera, it should have come with a class on how to use it!!!

This is my first foray into DSLR (or any SLR, for that matter). For years we did the point-and-shoot thing and a couple of years ago moved up to a Canon Powershot S3 intermediate. As I got comfortable with that camera and realized this was more than a passing fad for me, I researched DSLRs (I know a few photogs that had some great advice), the differences between APS-C and full frame bodies, and the features, and I landed on the 60D for my budget and wish list. Specifically, I wanted the faster shutter speed and continuous shot rate over the Rebel models. And full-frame was going to price me out of my budget. I also researched comparable Nikon models, and the 60D was physically more comfortable to hold (if you're shopping for a new camera, definitely go to a store and get one in your hands before you buy!). Image quality is fantastic, but not sure I'm a subjective source since I'm new to DSLR. There are a few features I'm still learning how to set on the camera that are not always intuitive to figure out (e.g., some functions like JPEG resolution set on the back dial next to the LCD, some like RAW resolution are set with the finger dial by the shutter button), but the manual has thus far helped me figure those things out. I purchased the package with the 18 - 135 mm lens, very happy so far. Had it for about a month and a half, probably taken around 1,000 pics.

Really great camera for a good price. Full frame is the way to go but if you're on a budget and just starting out like me then this will work perfect and you can upgrade later as your skills progress. I should have only bought the camera and not the kit because the kit lens is not great (in my opinion). Spend the rest of your money on a prime.

I have only used this for two days, but I already found it to be a super professional camera. Has a very solid feel. Handling is easy. The quality of the photos of 18-135 are great. Best Buy handled the transaction through online ordering and store pickup promptly!

This was my first DSLR purchase and I am very satisfied with the product. As mentioned, there is no autofocus when recording video, but still a great camera. I researched between DSLR and Nikon for several months before making this purchase and was well aware of the features or lack thereof for the 60D. This has a very convenient LCD on top of the camera and all the controls are ergonomically placed for ease of use. This model may be too difficult for beginners, but don't be discouraged as it is easy to learn as long as you put in the effort. Great image quality, easy to use!

The only thing I don't like about this camera is the top-dial lock. I never understood how people 'accidentally' switched between modes.. It'll probably take some time to get used to, but for now, I'm not loving it. As far as everything else goes, it's great! High-ISO performance is excellent for what it offers and you really wanna push the limit, invest into a full-frame camera. Same goes for investing into a L series Canon lens; they're just beautiful. Button layout on this camera is pretty straight forward. Love the lcd vari-angle screen and I wish all cameras had that feature. Even if you don't use it, I think it's great to at least protect it when not using the camera. The battery life is amazing too.

I have experience using an SLR even before they were digital. This camera while some may consider on the high range for pricing is of exceptional quality. Can be used manually or with auto set features. Literally even my 6 year old grand daughter can take amazing pictures.

My new Canon EOS 60D is just perfect for me! It came with the 18-135 F/ 3.5 – 5.6 STM IS lens which is also a great walk-around lens for a DSLR camera. This camera has great shutter speed that allows me to capture important images in continuous motion. It shoots sharp, amazing still images and I’m so impressed at how the HD video recording gives me a professional level results. Battery life is exceptional and I love the swiveling LCD monitor. This is the one that I chose when I stepped up from my Rebel DSLR because of its awesome advanced features with a professional level camera look at a least expensive price.

Even if it wasn't on sale when i bought it, this is a great camera for the money. But the sale price made it even better! It is a great camera for those who want a little more function beyond what the Rebel series offers. Photo and video quality are excellent.

I love this camera! I'm a throw back to the days of shooting, developing, and printing 35mm film, so I was a little scared of a digital SLR. I got over that VERY quickly! I can do things instantly with this camera that would have taken days before. I love being able to look at the image I just took on the screen! Talk about a time saver! It's especially nice for reviewing multiple exposures.
