I'm a nikon guy. I thought canon is very difficult to use. But when I tried it it so easy to use. Picture were very clear and wifi makes a download to my smartphone very easy. Thumbs up.

I upgraded from a canon 60d to the 70d. Watched a few reviews saying that it wasn't worth it but something kept bringing me back to the 70d. So I went to best buy and messed with it for about 2 hours in the store and knew I had to have one. All the new features like the touch screen, wifi, HDR, and that amazing dual pixel auto focus make this a much better camera than the 60d. The picture quality seems better and it handles high ISO noise MUCH better. So happy I didn't listen to the reviews on YouTube. This camera is great

I bought this as an upgrade from the Canon 30D and I must say it truly is an upgrade. Besides the obvious increase in megapixels, it features a pop out LCD and better focus system. Although it is a bit pricey, it is worth every cent.

I bought this camera as an upgrade. It replaced a Nikon and is a wonderful camera packed full of features, speed and is easy to use. We are just starting to fully understand all that this camera can do. It is so much easier to use than my other camera and the touch screen adds a nice finish.

After doing some research, and being a previous Canon owner, I went with the EOS 70D. I consider myself a beginner and was looking for something that would not completely overwhelm and take beautiful photos. Love it!!

I have the previous model, the 60D as well, which is a very good camera. The 70D offers much more in the same package. It has touch screen LCD, live view video focus similar to dedicated video cameras and VERY fast focus. The touch screen makes it a lot easier to pick focus points and make changes to menu settings. This camera has lots of settings to optimize its use and still can take great pictures if you just set it on full auto. The new 18-135 STM lens seems to have better picture quality compared to the older model as well.

A great camera for the price, I would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for a camera that takes great pics and not a lot of soak time on setting up to learn how to use.

I didn't get a chance to read the manual yet so no idea on how the different options work. However the few pictures I took on auto to try it out came out awesome! So are the videos I shot. I am very happy about my purchase even before trying out the many great features it has.

First I will state I am not a professional photographer . I think this camera is awesome. I received this camera as a Christmas gift and have only taken about 300 pictures so far. The button layout on this camera to me is awesome I think it flows great. The touch screen is great ,helps a lot with changing the settings but I usually keep it closed and work through the viewfinder. Seriously you won't go wrong buying this camera.

This camera is far as I can tell is the best camera within its class, a midrange level camera. It's ease of use and natural design for the hands and fingers is very good. Both my wife and I are still new to the camera, but we've been thrilled every step of the way as we learn how to use the different features. We are usually partially to Nikon, but now have switched to Canon because of its superior videoing features.

This camera shoots amazing pictures in auto mode. The video mode produces quality videos with good sound. I have only scratched the surface of how much this camera can do but even in its out of the box auto mode any person will appreciate the quality of this camera.

moved up from a 350D, night and day. Would have gone 5 stars but there are a few things I don't like. on/off is on the left side can't turn camera on with one hand, Not sure I like the auto mode get a much better pic in M or AV didn't think I would care for the video mode....Love it. Camera is heavy. Keeping old camera for light days. Takes some getting use too after shooting a rebel for so long but I think in a few months I can see it becoming a 5 Star. fast focus, Fast shooting, everything you need before getting a full frame

Next to a Full Frame this is a top notch camera and the "kit" lens 18-135mm has a great range and solid feel. The video is clear and the pictures are excellent but still getting used to the 17 point focus in auto mode; tends to grab the closest point to focus. Therefore tend to use the program setting for more finite focusing. Great upgrade from my 40D which was a very reliable camera even after 9 years of heavy use.
