I just had to have a new camera and wanted a DSLR. The one I actually wanted is no longer available so I decided on the Canon - EOS Rebel T5 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm IS Lens. My pictures now look like a professional took them. I highly recommend this camera. Also so very easy to use

I'm an avid photographer, it's my passion and hobby. This camera is light weight and so easy to use. Preset options are great, especially for beginners. Easy to change settings manually as well. The pictures turnout great too! Love that you can use the eye spy or the LED screen to take pics. Absolutely LOVE this camera.

I started with an Elan 7 several years ago, which was a film camera. I bought the Rebel TX and have used it for several years. The T5 went on sale, and I decided it was time to upgrade. I did not want the next model that has the touch screen. The T5 is an excellent choice and takes all the same lenses as the other DSLR Canons. It is great in lower light, and does an excellent job. The ISO goes to down to 6400. With 18 Megapixels, it does a great job, esp. when cleaning up using photoshop. I do a lot of school sports photography and it does a great job of action shots in the sports mode. Some call it an "entry level" DSLR. I would disagree with it only being entry level. It is that good.

We wanted something easy to learn how to use and easy to use to capture holiday pictures. This was a great buy, for a great price with the extended lens as part of the deal. Best Buy was very accommodating with this purchase as I had gone in to get a Nikon. It was sold out and the store gave me the same deal on the Canon as I would have gotten on the Nikon!

This camera comes with everything a Beginner would need to start learning about DSLR's.Because anything off Automatic setting is going to take some skill.Take a beginners class in photography and learn about your camera and it's settings, it's well worth it. This camera combo kit, for it's price, is well worth taking a chance on seeing if photography is your thing. If not,you didn't spend too much on a paper weight.

My 14 year old sister has a growing interest in photography, and this camera is perfect for her. It has a wide array of settings, and it's easy to learn how to use. It is also sturdily built and lightweight, perfect for using outdoors.

This is my first EOS Camera. Was easy to learn ,easy instructions and lots of on line support for beginner questions. Haven't had a lot of opportunity to use yet. Price was very reasonable with a package deal. My first few shots are beautiful.

I've always wnjoyed taking and developing black and whites. When technology tool over got lazy since they made everything so simple. But now with such advancements made on point and shoots I've decided to go back and try a more advanced camera where i can control settings. Camera is very easy too use has great abilty and features. Well worth its buck

Bought this camera for my son to use for a class. I have even used this myself and all of the photos were fantastic. Easy to use, not like the other high end cameras. this, I believe, can deliver results just as the higher end models

I've only had this camera for a month or 2 now, but it was an excellent buy. I would consider this as an intermediate level item and I'm still learning some things about the many features. I also purchased an extra lens, memory and a bag, all of which are well worth the little bit of extra money.

I use this camera for product photography. I like buying the best and I was tempted to get a a better model with more features, but I honestly didn't need all the bells and whistles. This camera is more than enough for what I use it for. I'm happy with my purchase. Would recommend for product photography or as a great entry level DSLR. Great price for tons of camera power. DON'T GET A SUPER ZOOM. Get a DSLR. Good low light, excellent depth of field, resolution and image quality.
