I have had this camera for some months now and can say I really enjoy using it. The pictures come out great. I shoot in manual mode and mostly raw. I do photography as a hobby and really like the quality of the pictures. It is very light which makes it easy to take it with me when I go out. I mostly use the 50 mm f1.8 canon lens to get the bokeh seen in the images I uploaded. These are raw and unedited. Straight from the camera! Only thing I wish is that the battery lasted a little longer but for the price you can’t go wrong.

This is a pretty good camera for the money.
Pros: Clear pictures with ability to shoot in jpeg or RAW
Able to sync to a smart phone for remote shooting, so that the photographer can be included in the picture with famliy
Canon support, able to use either Canon's EF-S or EF lens'
Cons: No flip screen for live view vlogging. WiFi app does not allow for video use only for camera. Not weather resistant, this is not a sealed body and temperature range limits ability to take outdoor photos in weather below 32F.
Kits lens is ok 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 is not a fast lens but with good lighting it will take great pictures.
Overall this is a great camera it you want to get into DSLR usage without breaking the bank and just enough functions beyond a point and shoot to help learn about taking great photos instead of just snap shots, without being overwhelmed with all the features a pro camera offers. Although it is not the gear that makes a great photographer.

This is my first DSLR I have ever bought. I have been shooting film for 10+ years. I am truly happy with my purchase. Still has that 35mm feel. One thing I noticed is you have to go one stop down sometimes when shooting manually to get the correct exposure, but that’s no big deal for me. The rest of the settings are great, and the camera captures the true colors and light of the situation. I’ve seen some other cameras (Fuji, Nikon) that exaggerate the colors. This camera does not do this. The quality of the images are also amazing. It also does really well in low light situations. The image stabilizer allows you to get low light shots i never thought i would get.

Excellent camera, zero flaws!
Beautiful design, flawless lens (for beginners like me anyways), I love the grip and ergonomic handle. Very nice that it comes with small useful extras like cleaning cloth, lens cover, camera lens cover, etc.
The NUMBER1 thing for me about this camera that just can’t be beat — is that it’s a CANON brand! I have nothing but high praises for Canon. Everything they do is amazing, and I can almost near certainly guarantee that you won’t be disappointed.
Be sure to buy an extra memory card with high gigabyte (GB) content (64GB+) and also maybe a tripod and photoshop photos editing program, like I did.

This camera fulfills all of my needs. The wifi feature is my personal favorite. Giving me acces to download the photos I've taken and convenience to transfer them straight to my cell phone within seconds. At first it was just a hobby, but now im considering on pursuing a side hustle or career in photography. Great product overall!

I am a beginner with protogrphy and found this Camera online. When I saw this camera, I was skeptic on if I could learn photography with this, but this is clearly a great purchase for people trying to learn photography.

When the camera is set to fully automatic ("A+"), it even raises and fires the flash when needed!
Pictures are sharp and auto exposure is right-on!

Bought for my daughter who wants to get into digital photography above the capabilities of a smart phone camera. This product is easy to use, lighter weight than more sophisticated higher end cameras. Takes a nice picture with automatic settings and has enough features to help her learn. For a non-professional photographer or a beginning professional to be, this camera does the job at a reasonable price.

I love this camera. I bought it for my photography class and it works great! Very straight forward and easy to use. I've worked with $1,000 canon cameras in the past and this works just as well for a fraction of the price. Highly recommend.

This camera replaces a very old EOS film camera, I already had a 50 mm and 70-210 mm lens that are of very high quality so sticking with the Canon made sense to me since the old lenses work on the new camera even though I have no use for the 50mm anymore as the included lens covers that. Even my bad pics look incredible on this camera. Easy to use, battery life is good and I took over 400 pics on one charge and one 32gig card.

I bought this to replace a non-digital Canon EOS camera. That honestly hadn't been used in years. I was happy that my old EF lenses worked just as well on this as the new EF-S lenses that are included with it. It takes excellent pictures. I've not used the Wifi or NFS, but was glad that they are there if I do want to utilize them.

When it comes to DSLRs, there are really only two names you should consider: Canon and Nikon. Both have been making quality products for many years. With this Canon model, it's no different. It offers many of the functions of a much higher priced DSLR, but you sacrifice a few key features for the savings -- one being the ability to record video at 1080p resolution at 60 frames a second. Not necessarily a dealbreaker for most, but a key feature. You can, however, record 60fps at 720p resolution. The LCD is also not movable as it is on higher end models.
That said, you do get a lot for your money. You can import pictures directly from the camera via Wi-Fi and a smartphone app. You have access to all Canon EF style lenses. You get fantastic battery life. You can also tweak manual settings to get the results you desire.
This camera is by no means a perfect solution to all your photo/video needs, but it is a great starter camera or hobbyist camera for someone who is not looking for the full package (and to spend upwards of $700).

Bought for my early teen daughter to use as a move up model from a compact digital camera. Easy to use, takes great pictures, and she loves it!
