Best performance for a Laser printer at a economical price value. Love it and still will replace it with other printers at my work with this one...

This printer is cost effective. It's simple to use and it works great. Mobile printing is through the Canon business app. Airprint does not work here.

This is a nice, small, good-performing printer. It is exactly as advertised. Reading other reviews where buyers complain that it doesn't print in color or doesn't scan; Of course not, it is a monochrome, black-and-white printer, not an all-in-one or scanner. I was prepared for the difficulty in setting it up. In 40 years of setting up personal computer printers, never have I seen such convoluted and confusing instructions and procedures. I wanted to use it as a wireless network printer with my Windows 10 and MacOS 12 computers. To do this, I was told to plug in the USB. Unplug the USB, Turn the printer off. Turn the printer on. I think I was asked to these 4 or 5 times. I was fully aware of the poor setup software, but stupidly assumed it had been improved. NOT! It's done for my MacBook, Windows notebook, and my Windows desktop is yet to do. It appears to be a good, inexpensive printer. If the setup software could be improved, it would be a great inexpensive printer. I'd finish that, in my home network, I assign fixed IPs to the 3 printers we have. With that done, it seems that this printer also uses a DHCP assigned IP address, so 2 are assigned to it. I never accepted DHCP assignment, but Canon took it on theirselves to use one. This is the only BAD issue.

Was looking for a printer specifically for inexpensive toner cartridges and this came up as the Deal of the Day I believe. Also found it on Amazon during the same time a bit cheaper, during the holidays I believe, but satisfied. Cartridges run around $11-$16 on Amazon for compatible toner cartridges with about 1800-2000 pages. Just black and white but is what we were looking for at the time to print paperwork/documents and labels. Setting up the wifi was a bit of a chore, but works great for computers and laptops. Never did get it to work for Chromebooks or phones/tablets.

I bought this mostly for printing coupons at home. I price matched it to a sale going on at staples at got it really cheap. I'm so happy with it. It is fast and mostly quiet and its very compact.

Great printer, but issues with WiFi

This printer works wonderfully when connected locally. It seems to print faster than it's PPM rating, and is small enough to fit on a desk comfortably. It's also fairly inexpensive to run considering the number of pages you get from the toner cartridge. That being said, the WiFi (which was a selling point) has been giving me fits since I bought it. Since there is no external display, everything is managed via the setup process and one WiFi connect button on the printer itself. The WiFi became disconnected and after multiple attempts to reconnect, I'm still just printing locally. It would be a 5 star rating if the WiFi worked.

I needed a printer that I hardly use that can be left without drying up and ruining the print heads and thought I wouldn't find one but the assistant showed me this puppy and it does the job nicely also its all but silent which is not very important to me but there are those who find that sort of thing important all in all its just what I needed and at a real good price thanks.

The printer is god looking and compact. It was easy to link wirelessly to my wife's computer and the printed page was just fine. However, our very computer literate son was unable to get the printer to function from his google phone. Not a big deal for us; however, the problem might be of concern for others.

Not only does it produce high-quality prints, but it is also incredibly easy to use. The setup process was a breeze and the instructions were clear and concise. The printer's interface is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to navigate and adjust settings. I also appreciate the printer's speed and efficiency, which has saved me time and frustration.

The Canon laser printer was easy to set up. It comes with everything you need, except paper. I found the USB cable too short for my needs and bought a 6' cable. The printer works fine and does everything I need it to. My old HP laser printer would not work with my new WIN10 computer, so the Canon did the trick. There is also the wireless connection that my old printer lacked.

easy to setup. super fast printing, quality of the print is same as those expensive printers. If you are a serious printer (printer :)) this is the printer you need. I print pretty much everything I can print, so I needed something that isn't going to run out of cartride in a month. I think Im over couple hundred pages and its still printing like the first day.

Setup (normally simple for a printer) was a bit difficult. Had to call Canon customer service due to problems with the print driver. Problem eventually solved and the printer now works fine. I don't use the printer very often so I like the fact that the top is covered when not in use (and therefore not collecting dust).

I needed an inexpensive printer for my home , and I was sick of dumping money into ink cartridges. This printer was a perfect solution. The wireless setup is easy, the print speed and quality are great, and the toner cartridges are reasonably priced. If you don't need color prints or want a laser printer to supplement your photo-printer, you can't go wrong with this little Canon.

Small footprint, and great for foiling.

Opened the package and set it up, took about 30 minutes +. Setting up on a Mac for wifi took some time, HP and Epson do it better (for this). The main purpose of purchasing this printer was for foiling. After doing some lengthly and spotty research, I ended on this. I waited until the price dropped around Black Friday and it shipped very quickly--evening arriving a day early! It sat around until I could muster the energy (holidays are draining) to pull it out and find a place to put it alongside my Epson inkjet. I did a test print and then used heat to transfer the foil, needless to say, it works. If you are like me and are still wondering about whether it works for foiling, look no further, this works, has wifi and is cheap (hopefully the cheapness won't lead to short-term uses. (if it does, I will gladly update this review.)
