I had forgotten how fast laser printers are after many years using a ink jet. Got tired of clogged ink cartridges that happened way to often. The setup was easy and the wireless printing and scanning work well from all my devices. Prints envelopes and heavy paper in the manual feed slot with little work to feed different sizes. Also looks very nice and appears to be well built and of high quality.

I am glad I bought this printer...! It works just fine for me. It's easy to use, prints great and gets connect to all my devices.

Comes with a better software package than other entry level models but lacks duplex scanning. Canon often has confusing descriptions and specifications. Several models have different resolutions depicted for the same print engine. That is the drum and cartridge are the same. So you may think that they enable different capabilities with higher models for higher resolutions but in this case the lower model appears to have the higher capability. I think it is just marketing they probably are all the same. Anyway I get tired of trying to wade through the model differences and minute feature changes. For instance this is a fax but no duplex when scanning. The next model up has duplex scanning but has no fax capability. I need the duplex more than the fax capability so i am returning this one.

We were in need of a reliable and fast printer that had fax and scan capabilities. So far this has served our needs very well.

Bought this online when it was on sale. Perfect for what we needed. The setup and use is very easy and straightforward. Only issue I have found is when lifting the lid to use the scanner is feels flimsy, almost like it is broken and about to fall off. Just something I think I need to get used to. Print speed is fast and excellent quality. Scanner works great and makes clear scan fast.

What can I say it has almost everything, wifi, Ethernet, scanner, fax, b/w laser printer. It's very quick to wake and print. Setup was very easy thanks to the touchscreen on the front. The only thing it lacks is duplex printing, but for $80 I'll take this printer as it comes. This printer also comes with an extensive web ui to manage prints from multiple users simultaneously. It's also ompatible with Apple air print, and android print plugin, for tablets and phones.

This is my second Canon of the MF series and they are both great. Dependable, fast and if kept up will get you a ton of prints from a cartridge. Don't buy the off brand, they aren't worth it. My only complaint is that the scanner and copier won't do double sided, otherwise ideal for basic office use.

We bought a laser printer this time around because it is reported to fare better in infrequent use. We have always opted for less expensive inkjet printers, but found that cartridges would dry up and print nozzles would clog. Using the printer only once or twice every few weeks made longevity the number one criterion for us, and although we haven't had the printer for more than a month, it seems ready for the long haul. If you only print documents and don't need color, you can find a good laser printer for about $130 (this one was a Black Friday markdown from $229 to $79, so REALLY hard to pass up), and apart from some clugeyness in the set-up "instructions" (they're pictures, so there's a bit of guesswork), and having to call Canon for assistance with print and scan drivers and set-up, the operation has been exceptionally simple and streamlined. BTW, a HUGE plus for Canon: all of its support is here in the US, and it's free - for the life of the product. I can't think of any other tech companies standing behind their gear in that way. Eventually, you're gonna need help, and being able to a) get through; b) understand the tech and know they understand you, and c) get the answers you need AT NO COST makes Canon worth whatever premium you might pay (not that I think their products are necessarily more than competitors', especially if you shop sales).

For the price, you cant beat it. Very quite, pretty fast. Only downside is the fax will pick up on the second ring. Doesn't give you much time to answer the phone.

Delivered in very good condition. Easy to setup with straight forward instructions. Slight slow over WiFi but high speed print jobs would not be applicable for home use like me. For some reason Blackberry devices cant pick this printer over the WiFi. But other then that both Samsung and Apple hand devices worked like a charm. I still need to set it up for printing from my PC (windows 10). I think it says compatible with windows 7 and 8. I am sure it should work with windows 10. I will try and post if it does not work.

Before I bought this printer, I read some reviews from Amazon. Three point six stars in a 5 star scale from 41 individuals. I thought I should give it a try. It turned out quite good for me. Installation of the driver and software is very easy. Control panel usage is also very easy, since it is a touch screen display (I did not even read the PDF manual which came with the installation DVD). I have tried print, scan and copy functions, all are excellent. I haven't tried the fax yet since nowhere I could sent. I just resume it will be ok. Printing sound is also not too noisy.

Awesome Printer.. Easy to install and works flawlessly so far!. I got it during the Black Friday deal and it's well worth the regular price.

There is nothing not to like about this printer its fast makes copies connects wired, USB or wirelessly. Set up was painless.

The setup was easy and the print quality is great. I last printer was also Canon and i'm a proud user of this brand.

The printer is fast and was a easy setup. Very nice.

The printer is great, once we got it set up with our Macs. There is no cable interface for an Apple product so when we had problems assigning the code from our wi fi we could not connect to the printer from our Macs and run it that way. Once we got everything running and connected it has been great, print quality is great.

My girlfriend is a lawyer and she's always complaining about her printer and scanner situation (previously two machines). So I got her this and she loves it. Two sided scanner, scans multiple documents, copies and prints. She hasn't used the fax yet but it's nice to know it's there.
