The quality of this printer is great and sufficiently fast. Set up was very easy and was running within 30 minutes. I purchased this printer after using HP ink jet printers for a VERY long time. . I was tired of purchasing color cartridges even though 98% of my printing was B&W. I will say that the printer software for the HPs is more intuitive and in my opinion better. Having said that, I am glad that, i switched to this Canon laser printer

The printer requires a wired connection either USB to computer or Ethernet cable directly to router and computer if using Ethernet. However, the all in one printer works as described and all of the features ( scan, print, copy, fax) work well and allow you to adjust settings such as the density of image and the amount of ink per print assignment ( ink save). Overall a good purchase that will most likely last a long time. One negative I did discover is that this particular canon model, Imageclass MF 236n, is a lower end model in the ImageClass series and so it really only does the basics there are not that many surprising features that you would see in newer printers today. Also if you have a windows 7 or higher you will have to go to Canon's website to download the drivers for the printer.

I was looking for a printer scanner that I could use while working at home that didn't break the bank and this was perfect. I can scan multiple pages right to a pdf file on my computer send it via email. Also the print quality is fantastic.

This Canon black and white laser printer is a Workhorse for a high-use environment. We have about 100 driver personnel that will use this machine once or twice a day, to print out a couple of pages each time. The ease of use amongst different personnel is good. It is a work horse due to the fact that different Personnel are using the machine. The high-quality output is standard for Canon copier printers!

I needed to replace my printer with a printer/scanner that had an automatic document feeder. I thought this Canon was wireless, but it is not. I was looking at a similar Canon that was and got them confused. Since it is not wireless, it would have been nice if they would have included a printer cable. I had to wait a few days for the for the cable to arrive before I could finish setting it up. It is big, but looks good! I was easy to set up and it works well! I am happy with my purchase.

Doesn't have a wireless internet connection. You have to attach to router. Aside from that it's a great product.

This is a nice at home all in one for a great price. I scan weekly on it, copy, print, etc. I have no problems using all of the functions. The AirPrint function works great. The laser quality is good, easy to hook up. I have no complaints.

The only complaint I have is I wish it was able to print double-sided automatically but that isn't a major drawback. It's fast, pretty easy on the toner and it's a great unit. Would highly recommend.

Ive had this printer for well over a year and it has held up nicely. However, I do wish it had built in Wifi. I have this one hooked up to my network so its not so much a big deal.

    Best Value In Printing

Love this printer. After a decade of inkjet printers failing on me every 1-2 years, I finally paid just a bit more up front to get a laser printer. Print speed is way faster than any inkjet I've used, toner doesn't go bad just sitting around, and replacement toner cartridges are extremely cheap.

For the value, I now have the best printer for home I have ever used. Totally impressive in all respects. Plus, I will save money over time by not buying ink jet cartridges that dry up too soon. And, it doesn't take up any more space than my former ink jet printer.

I was looking for a printer/copier and scanner. All functions work really well. Only downfall is that it comes with a starter toner so I finished the toner pretty quickly.

Didn’t need color and if it performs as well as my other AIO, it’s a real bargain. It’s also a gift so hope it holds up ok. This replaces an HP inkjet. I’ll never buy another inkjet or HP again (nor Epson) - complete junk!
