Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention difficulties with the PIXMA MegaTank G1230 SuperTank Inkjet Printer's WiFi connectivity. Issues reported include an inability to connect to mobile devices or WiFi networks, and the need to purchase a USB cable separately. These connectivity problems appear to be a significant drawback for many users. The lack of included USB cable also adds to the inconvenience.

I started to give this bad review but changed my mind. the other reviewers rated it low because it isn't wireless but it doesn't claim to be, if it were wireless it would be in the name or description, I also didn't realize that until it was open but that's my fault and no one elses. What shouldn't be my problem is the usb cord it did not come with and had to be purchased separately. Make sure it is a 3.0 usb I tried to use an old one and couldn't figure out what the problem was. print quality is great, hd pictures printed as well as any other printer but I am no expert. If it had come with a usb cable I would have gave 5 stars

I set it up and used a extra printer USB I had around the house. Apparently it is not compatiple with IOS devices. Ordered a usb printer cable to try to connect my Chromebook. Still not able to print even though it says it printed. If I ever get it to print.

Beware that this printer has no technology at all and can only be set up for hard wired printing! It doesn’t work with any mobile devices or over WiFi. While I NOW see that it says that in the specs, it wasn’t clear when I ordered it.

Terrible. Doesn’t connect to WiFi. Have no use for it if I can’t print from a tablet or iPhone.
