Great price for ink tank printer (Best Buy price matched online very quickly, online tech assistant made the purchase a breeze). Setup was pretty easy. I was a little hesitant about filling the ink tanks but had no issues. I can print from my IPAD and phone quickly. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent printer! I use it to make personalized party favors and omg it’s amazing, especially on Glossy Photo Paper… It took me a while to set it up at first I wasn’t getting the vibrant colors I wanted but a couple youtube videos later and it was fixed! I definitely reccomend

I am the type to do extensive research before making most purchases. This is my first inkjet printer and to be honest I was nervous. I’ve read that inkjet printers have to be used very often or else the heads would get clogged. But I heard between epson and canon, canon’s heads are replaceable or easier to replace at least. HOWEVER.. I didn’t use the printer for months and I was getting really scared to use it. And I ended up procrastinating the day to use it again. When the day finally came.. I was incredibly nervous..I was ready to spend some money.. but thankfully it was working fine! I tested out a couple test prints just so I can clear anything wrong, and it was good as new. I’ve printed graphics and photos and they all come out beautifully. I’ve left a print of a drawing in the Sun all summer to see if the ink faded, and it pretty much stayed the same. Of course if I upgrade I’m sure it’ll be even better but for a budget friendly printer I’d say this is high quality.

I bought this printer to print my daughter’s art on various types of sticker paper and iron on fabric for t-shirts. It printed beautifully! We have printed about 10 t-shirts and 20 pages of stickers so far and the ink is still full. We are very happy with this printer!

This printer was chosen for two reasons; First, it is a Canon. Our last printer was also a Canon, and it was a workhorse that far outlasted its expected life. So, another Canon was what we wanted. Second, we were tired of constantly replacing cartridges, and wanted an eco tank.
After running off 100 two-sided letters, we like that no cartridges needed replacing and the ink levels barely moved, The speed was much better than our last Canon printer. Finally, the quality of printing and included photos was very good.
Also, the set up was easy breezy, taking only a matter of minutes.
So far, we are quite pleased with this printer, and hope it too lasts far beyond it’s expected life.

Wonderful printer. Followed directions and it works awesomely. My second Pixma, first with the mega tanks and I am really impressed.
All devices print without fail on wi-if, and this thing is quick on letter form copy. Photos great as well. Great product, and as a bonus it looks good too.

Can I give it zero? I bought one a few months ago and after a few uses, it just stopped printing in the middle of a document. A message appeared that said "printer not responding." After I unplugged it and plugged it back in, it printed 2 things and then stopped in the middle again and the message again appeared. I was well within my initial warranty so I returned it and they sent me another one, It does EXACTLY the same thing. The unit is directly plugged into a desktop so there are no connection problems. It just stops working, often in the middle of a document. Once or twice, I tried turning it off and on again, and letting it rest, and then it would print one more item. And one time, it stopped working, waited 14 minutes, and then finished the document. Other times, it printed half and then held onto the half-printed item. Do not buy one of these if you want a unit that prints.

This printer was great, it lasted about 2 years and i am unsure it i did something wrong but it started printing all yellow and other issues. But it did its job and the APP is great, i replaced with with a newer model Cannon (6020) and it is leaps better. Think this one is obsolete now

Just what I needed for great value. I liked the price as I don’t need a screen to navigate the printer. Sets up easy with the app and haven’t needdd to open it up again since! Phone and laptop connect automatically

5 stars! The print looks absolutely beautiful, the ink is easy peasy to load in. You can visually see it in the windows.
Setup is not easy, but they do try. If you have an open wireless network, the driver install/web utility will do it for you. But who has an open wifi network?!? If you have a password set (and you should), you'll have to manually input it into the printer, one letter at a time using arrow keys (and yes, capital letters are separate!). That was the only pain point, but afterwards, smooth sailing.
We tested the copier - great job! It's not a perfect copying job in terms of what a big bulky office copier will do, but if you're copying b&w documents, it's great.
The scanner is far better. You'll get some nice scans of documents, even in color.
Lastly - the printer itself is great. Very quick prints, straight lines, good color quality. We didn't test the photo mode, but I assume it will be extremely nice given the normal print mode.
BONUS: Printer came with FULL BOTTLES of ink! No 1/2 bottles or "trial" bs. DOUBLE BONUS? It came with an extra full bottle of black!

Good all-in-one home printer. Love the ink system - very economical compared to cartridges. The printer arrived quickly and was easy to set up and connect wirelessly. Print quality is very good. Only a couple of downsides - page print speed is pretty slow and wish it had an auto-on for wireless printing.

Printer is fast and is capable of working wired or wireless -- The absolute best part is that it doesn't require those ridiculously expensive ink cartridges that always seem to run out of ink way too soon. You can print many pages before you have to re-fill the built-in ink tanks and you can purchase the ink in bulk much more cheaply.
