Great printer. Love the quality of the print. Easy to print off multiple devices.

This printer prints, copies and scans really well, and it's nice to be able to print from an iPhone or iPad. I'm very satisfied with it. I bought it as a replacement for my Canon MP970 printer that Canon elected not to support with updated printer drivers. (Wouldn't work with the operating system on new Mac computers.) My only (slightly) negative feedback on the MG7720 compared with my old Canon printer that was still working great (with older operating systems) is that, while it is smaller, it's not as "beefy" (i.e., the external case seems a bit flimsier), it takes much longer to run through its start-up process, and loading paper into the internal paper tray takes a little more time than just slipping it into the standup paper holder in the back of my old printer. Also, Canon needs to improve their installation instructions. The instructions indicate that you can follow their directions and get the printer to download all the appropriate printer and scanner software automatically, and this is not the case (as verified by Canon's support people.) It took a couple calls to Canon's support line (as well as an updated Wifi -- mine was too old to be up to the task) to get it up and running, but Canon's support people were very helpful and efficient. Other than the Wifi issue, everything they told me COULD have been included in the directions.

Spent a lot of time looking over the different printers available before going with my wife's initial choice based on the look. It's a great printer works well and the prints are awesome. Photo printing on normal paper does not look great but then using photo paper you think it is photo lab quality.

The best thing about this printer is that it produces great photos and it doesn't take up very much room.

Directions were a little hard to follow loading canon app and wireless printing. Scanning started okay then started cropping image. Had to find out why. I do enjoy the wireless option. Once initial installation was complete printer works well. Bought this for my wife who does heavy scrap booking. She is still learning this printers capabilities. At times she does get frustrated. I think it's due to learning the printer for the first time.

This was a relatively easy printer to set up for both desktop and iPhone access. It uses 2 separate drawers for paper, usually letter sized plain paper and 4X6 photo paper. It can handle legal size paper as well as 5x7 photos. The original ink tanks lasted about a month. I replaced them with larger XL size tanks. It favors Canon brand photo paper but can be fooled. When I was using up my stock of OfficeMax photo paper, the color was not the best until I told the printer it was Canon paper by selecting that choice on the printer screen. Color improved dramatically. The paper drawers are easy to load, and also accept envelopes. The online manual is helpful. I read all the Best Buy and Amazon reviews on printers and this was the best choice for my needs. Very happy with the printer and help at Best Buy.

The printer prints amazingly crisp pictures, the colors are vibrant. I am impressed with the printing. Setting it up was a bit frustrating as it was fussy, and I often have to hit the power button to turn it on before I hit print on my laptop or I get a print error message, perhaps something to do with the trouble I had when setting it up.

Print,fax and copy features are excellent and being wireless is easy to connect to different devices.

The power of this printer belies its compact size. The quality of color photo prints is outstanding!

Love this printer, great quality. Huge range of printing options, has 6 color cartridges and pictures come out great!!It's super quiet and no paper jams even when printing out 100 pages at one time!! Hooking up phones and computers wireless / wifi is a breeze so easy! Great buy.

Let me just sum things up simply. It doesn't hog up ink, it prints relatively fast and silent, it's a good price for the quality and it does well with multiple paper types. The ink isn't terribly expensive and the colors look great in high quality- it picks up small variances other printers miss. It's also REALLY not that hard to set up. A lot of people complain about it. The only annoying thing is the touch-panel controls.

Our other Pixma, 8-9 years old, finally went kaput. So we started looking for all-in-ones but without the fax component. Checked other brands and kept coming back to the Pixma, which is what we had before. Very quiet (in quiet mode), wireless, great printing and photo printing. Could print just a tad faster, but prefer the quietness of it to speed. Exceptional customer service as always and just love the red color.

Very good printer, flawless border less printing even on letter size paper. I did think wireless printing was a bit slow for plain text, but not going to sing it too much for that. It does burn a lot of ink and tends to use some color for blacks but it's not too bad. The slef calibration is great does an awesome job. I like that the system prompts me every time I change the paper. Makes it easier.

Sleek, compact, quiet, and great picture quality, couldn't ask for much more for this price

As a longtime Canon user I am used to the speed or rather lack of and this model is no different. It is faster than the MX922 I was replacing and quieter as well. This model is an inkhog but no moreso than other Canons and I am willing to deal with this in exchange for the good print quality and excellent photo printing. Love the reduced size as compared to the MX922 and the features are similar and plenty however do occasionally miss the autofeed of the MX922 when scanning. Overall, I am pleased and will happily stick with Canon for my light duty home/home office printing needs. Ordered online and was ready for pickup at BESTBUY immediately. Super easy purchase!

Good looking, easy set up, and works quickly and quietly. Double sided, color or BW. I haven't scanned or copied yet, but so far so good. It appeared to prefer an "all wired, or all wireless" setup for the initial startup. I initially tried a PC with a wired internet and wireless printer, but in the end did everything wirelessly. Everyone in the house likes printing from phones and Ipads as well.

Photos look awesome! Decent speed! Holds acceptable amount of paper! Easy to set up!

The printer was easy to install. Our first print was a photo, it was perfect.

Easy to connect to home wifi and computers and printed pages are of high quality.
