This Canon printer is great for being able to print documents as well as photos. Scanner is great and double sided printing too! I like being able to feed several papers at a time to copy. Easy set up as well.

So far this is a great printer. It has the ability to print a DVD or CD label which is why I purchased it. I don't care for the idea of having to pull up the front of the printer and pull out the slide for the paper to come out after printing but other than that minor inconvenience I love it.

However, automatic and paper tray way to small. I would only recommend for the great quality prints.

I have been using Canon printers for over 25 years. They REALLY work for a long time with very little problems. This printer was easy to setup. It hooked right into my network fine and I can also use it with my phone. Prints nice and clean and the scanner works great. It has two different paper ports. The smaller one is front loading for envelopes, photo paper, etc., and the back tray holds much more (best for regular paper). The weird part of the back tray is it is more of a feeder slot than a tray. It pulls up and stays at an angle and you load the paper in and then there is a guide bar to keep the paper in place. Chances are the paper might get some dust on it because it isn't covered. The back tray the paper goes straight through so it prints as you see on screen while the front tray flips the paper so you have to remember that when printing. Overall a great printer. Just wish the back tray had some sort of cover to protect the paper from dust and such.

We've hand multi-function printers before, but really needed one with an auto document feeder (ADF). It works well and it has a manual duplex option where you scan a stack of papers on one side and then put them back in the tray to rescan. Scanning with the ADF is a slow when compared to the business printers in a large office, but when considering the cost of business printers, I'll take slow. Printing is very good and we're happy with it so far.

After a long journey of research and returning a crappy HP printer. I stumbled upon this beautiful printer. I took it home set it up and after printing with it the first time i had no more worries. This thing prints in quality and from what I can tell is not a terrible ink hog. It prints crisp and clear. No complaints, I will always be a cannon printer purchaser now. I am tired of HP's crap printers.

I needed a new printer to replace my mx922. I wanted the extra size (11x17) for documentation. Fills the bill and uses similar 5 cartridge system. Good system, but slightly cheaper made, but didn't need the office capability of dual paper trays.. Has the other features like doc feeder, double side printing. Good purchase.

The printer works well and prints very well. My main complaint is that it is a bit complicated to learn how to use it properly. The only instructions it comes with are on the box concerning initial set up. You must go online to access in-depth operating instructions. Which I find frustrating when in the middle of a printing chore. Not really wild about having to use several different ports to print on different types of paper...envelopes, pictures, etc.

Easy to set up. Has useful features such as multiple ink cartridges, automatic document feed, flexible paper handling, and others. Easier maintenance than some other brands. Sufficient printing speed and good quality prints. Definitely worth the price.

I had my 9 year old niece help me so she could learn. Yes I know a little about technology but it is really easy to set up including the wireless. It dozes not get a lot of use but I like printing from my IPad or I phone It responds and prints quickly. I have also used it for copying and was very pleased with the speed. This is far better than my old Canon

Purchased this printer to replace the HP, which had issues from the start. All functions work seamlessly and scan quality is fantastic! Printer cartridges are more costly than HP but the quality and seamless operation of the printer far outweigh lower costing ink. One of the primary purposes for replacing with the PIXMA was for scanning, retouching and digitizing family photos and I have truly been pleased with the overall quality and functionality provided by the TS9520. This is the second PIXMA All-In-One in the household and both printers work without issues. The CANON software and utilities that come with both of these printers are very easy to install and use. If you are searching for a great printer that offers a lot of value, the TS9520 is worth checking out.

    Good But Quirky

Good printer, but very quirky & more complicated than it needs to be-you must raise the front panel to allow it to print; the paper catcher interferes with the paper tray when loading; you have to pull out the back paper support about a foot- a lot of little things. It does a good job printing, & photos are good & clear.

This printer is easy to set up. I printed several pictures from my daughters phone. The print quality was the same from any print kiosk at local stores. Excellent buy easy to use. I love you can print 11x17 too.

Got this to replace my old Pixma MX922 and I was surprised as it's not as flimsy as it first appeared. The only difference with this model is that it cannot fax. Otherwise, the functions are very similar and this model can print onto CD's as well. Have basically used for scanning and documents and the ADF works well. ONE NOTE: the copy function can sometimes default to the wrong feed source (paper tray vs. rear feed slot) so if this occurs, you have to manually correct via the touch screen under copy and tap the word settings to change the paper source. Other than that... so far, so good. Only other complaint - would be great to have an option to change the touchscreen and add more color to it.

This printer was easy to set up and the quality of print is very good. Only two things that could be better. It could stand to hold more paper in its tray for one. The other is that I would have preferred that when copying two-sided documents that it would scan both sides simultaneously rather than having to feed the document through twice. My previous Canon printer was able to do that.

The printer prints just fine but goes offline monthly. The printer doesn’t work well with multiple computers wirelessly especially with the new google routers that increase range of the wireless network. I had to unplug the main router and the 3 auxiliary routers and establish a new connection. Then everything worked again properly. I just hope I don’t have to do this every month.
