It is an easy camera to use. The problem is the pictures are fuzzy and if some one moves at all the picture is blurry. It would be an excellent price if not for the picture quality.

The outdoor pictures look great, but when it comes to indoor pictures, the automatic feature takes several long seconds and doesn't use a flash when it should. It relies on upping the ISO which also throws off the color balance. If there is light from outside in the picture, it focuses on the light, like through a window and it throws everything off and closes off the iris for a dark picture. In Manual flash mode, the color balance goes toward orange and unnatural. Taking an inside picture on a sunny day presents a problem, but if it is dark outside, then is seems to work best if flash is forced.

This was gift for my 16 year old daughter to use at dance, theater and school for informal and formal pictures and for events where she wants better pics than her phone can take. Accordingly she wanted a small but fully functioned unit. I know Canons have been known for good image quality and well designed programs and this one takes beautiful pictures that look great on the computer screen. This camera offers lots of picture modes and all the controls are easy to use. The shooting modes and controls offered me the opportunity to take pics the way I wanted them to look but it doesn't seem so fiddly that my wife, who wants to grab it and take pictures without thinking, couldn't use it at a recent school event. Overall this camera takes great pictures without a fuss and the price was very reasonable for the functions and features it offers.

This camera is as advertised. It is a nice simple point and shoot camera with good image quality. It also takes nice videos. There is a dedicated button for taking videos which makes it easy if you decide at the last second you would rather be taking a video instead of a picture. The included battery has a nice long life and a recharger is included. The compact size is nice, it easily fits in a pants pocket.

I had purchased this camera for work it has everything I needed for the price, good picture quality,lightweight and ready to take pictures quickly. The only flaw that I have found in the camera is the screen to review the pictures seems a little fragile but other than that its a good camera for the price..

I purchased several of these cameras to be used by employees in the field for basic documentation of accidents, etc. Overall, this has been a very good camera for us to use. I was looking for a simple camera that still had some good solid options, which this does. Many times our employees have to switch from macro to normal shooting modes, and this camera does this very well. It takes great pictures for a point and shoot camera, and that was also important. I can give this camera to even our most "technological challenged" employees and we still get good pictures. About the only complaint I have received back is that with sweaty fingers the camera can be slippery to hold. However, I would say that is common amongst any of the cameras that are in this price range. Overall, great camera for a great price.

I'd recommend this camera for anyone who likes to have a camera with them at all times, because one never knows when that perfect once in a life time shot will present itself. It's small, light weight, fits in a breast pocket, takes excellent pictures and won't break the bank.

This is a good budget digital camera. I am not used to one that doesn't come with a cable to transfer to computer so that is my only negative. You must have a memory card slot on computer to be able to transfer photos. I like the unique color and it is nice and light to carry around so it is good for most people.

I purchased this for my wife. She wanted something very small to take much better pictures than her phone can. eg: something with a Zoom lens, flash, image stabilized lens, etc. I am a very skilled amateur photographer and while this camera is a huge step down in capability from my EOS 1D & Leica gear, I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the photos it gives her are. The Image Stabilization built into the lens is Aces. It makes using the camera quite pleasant because the view on the LCD is so stable. I would have no qualms getting this camera for a complete novice or a young person because I'd be fairly sure that in most of the snapshot situations they'd have the camera would give them satisfying photographs. :D If you need a camera to do complex things like shoot fast moving subjects, shoot subjects or people that are more than a couple meters away, or shoot in dim situations with little available light, this isn't the camera you will want. I love this lil blue wonder cuz I only expect it to be good for the things it has chance to be good at.

Was a gift for my 12 year old and she loves it. Is small and fits in her pocket so she can take anywhere she wants. It took me a few minutes to figure out the zoom feature when she had me take a pic of her and it's an awkward zoom button to me, but she loves it and has no problems. Great price too.

I'm a Professional Photographer, but I like to carry a small oocket camera for casual situations. Three things are important to me - Image Quality, Performance Speed, and Consistency of Exposure. This camera delivers all three. Image quality is great. There is not a lot of noise. There is lots of detail and good tonal range. Highlights are not washed out. Performance Speed - the camera turns on pretty quickly and focuses fast. Great for not missing the shot. Consistency of exposure - all the exposures are pretty even, not a lot of over or under exposures. I was especially pleased with the performance if tge flash in a dark restaurant with multiple groups. No washed out pics. All well-exposed. I'm very satisfied with this camera.

This camera is very easy to use. It has decent zoom. It was priced right and on sale. I bought this for my mom and I own one myself. The salesperson told me that the canon cameras were good quality and weren't returned very often.

Great bargain for a practical, compact, reasonably flexible camera! It's certainly not the same as shooting with a DSLR with a quality lens, but many times you simply don't need that kind of control and flexibility -- or weight and bulk! For 90% of shooting, this camera serves well, and you can always have it with you.

Bought this camera a 2nd time after I accidentally washed my first one. That's how much I liked it. ease of use, easy to carry around, not bulky or clumsy to work. Also got an excellent deal on the 2nd purchase with in store deal plus signing up for Best Buy Card.

This was a nice upgrade at a reasonable price. It's small, but the buttons seem a reasonable size BUT I have small hands. Be advised that it can do HD video which means VERY large video files. You can select lower definition so the files are easier to upload.

Excellent camera with jam packed features and tons a bunch of fancy modes. (love the color filter and color swap). Like any other canon compact cameras, this one has all the features and also an added program mode where you can meddle with few settings to make the pictures look good. This not your average compact camera with a lot of aperture and speed settings, this is a simple ultra compact camera with quick point and shoot functionality and stand up to the name and brand. Takes great pictures and vivid setting really brings out the colors of anything you aim at.

The camera is great for taking picture in bright daylight. If it's cloudy or at night, the picture quality is not good. It's easy to use and carry.
