We have enjoyed testing it out and learning about the camera. Easy to use. Wish there was more of a manual but we muddled through.

I bought two of these cameras for my niece age 8 and nephew age 10 just before we went on a cruise to Alaska with a land tour. They loved it! It was easy to use, rugged enough, lens cap came with an elastic band. The camera was well used took some great shots and enjoyed by the kids and hey I won the "Best Uncle of the Year" award.

Had this for about a year now. I'm amateur, don't really fiddle with the settings. I was hoping it would have higher quality picture. On auto the pictures are fair. I don't think is much better than a standard point and shoot. I'm disappointed because this is a bulkier camera so while it can fit into my pocket it really strains at the fabric. Also have to manually pop off the lens cap, manually flip up the flash. I still have to photoshop the images to get a good print.

Awesome camera! Gave this camera to my grandparents to use during their trips. Picture quality is great and the camera is easy enough for them to figure out. However Best Buy customer service was terrible. I contacted them to do a price match and was given a month long run around and still never received the price match they initially promised. Use Best Buy as a "window shopping" experience.

I chose this camera because it is a Canon and because of its shape and size. We have about 7 digital cameras we have dropped and busted. This time I wanted one I could hold onto and not drop. It takes good pictures and is easy to operate. The wireless downloading was more difficult to set up than I expected and also has limitations. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

This is a great little camera for those who want powerful optical zoom, good pictures, and high quality video without dropping the $500+ it would take buy an EOS. The baterry life was also impressive, as one charge would last me a 2-3 days of consistent use.

I started looking for a new camera for my trip to the Canadian Rockies in July. Initially I was looking to spend around $600. I researched and compared, and narrowed down my choices to two canons, a 60x point and shoot with tons of bells and whistles, or a 30x point and shoot for $200. I decided the cheaper one performed all the functions I needed.
I love the quick burst feature, which was great when shooting pictures of wildlife. The vivid color and strong zoom are also great features.
My only quibble with this camera is the Bluetooth connectivity, which, although a great feature, is complicated to figure out, and a little temperamental in working. Overall this camera is worth 4.5 stars. It's a great deal for the money. Why spend more?

Great zoom lens, but tends to over-expose

This is a fantastic camera to travel with because it is so light and easy to use. It has great features and the built-in lens is exceptional for magnification. Be aware that it tends to over-expose pictures when using the zoom lens so the color washes out. Overall, I would give it great marks. I took it on safari in Africa and I could photographs the animals very well withou having to carry a lot of heavy and bulky equipment.

Used this camera on trip out west. Great for capturing landscapes, animals. Zoom works great. Even takes good pictures while in moving vehicle. Low light option could be a little better. Not too bulky or heavy. Good size camera that takes great pictures.

Takes great photos, nice features, love the powerful zoom, provides good detail even at full zoom. The battery life is impressive, but I spend way too much time viewing pics and editing them, which naturally reduces battery life.
I don't use the WiFi feature, prefer to use a cable adapter to transfer photos to my android phone. This is much more practical and reliable, I have found.
I like the size and weight of the camera. The included neck strap is adequate and the light weight of the camera doesn't make the strap uncomfortable. The lens cap is convenient and easy to get on/off.

I was looking for a camera that would take high quality photos in a variety of environments that was more convenient to carry around with me than a DSLR, and this camera turned out to be exactly what I was looking for! The pictures I've taken so far are great, even in low light! The wifi connectivity took me a little while to figure out, but once I did it's worked great so far! I love this camera and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Got this camera to replace old point and shoot to carry at times instead of my Canon SL1. It is a great point and shoot to just have with you but the flash is not automatic other than that it has worked just the way I expected. Friends have seen ours and gone to get one as well.

I am very disappointed with this purchase. I did a lot of research trying to find the best camera for me and I still failed in my decision. I wanted a camera that was good size and not one of those little ones, something that would work in low lights, and I could take pictures of family/events. I hate that I have to push the button twice in order to take a picture. I hate that it takes so long to take a picture. I have a 4 year old and would like to capture special moments but can't figure out how to make this camera work for that. The delay is just too long and she is moved on to something else. This camera has been sitting in the bag for about 2 months now and I'm still using my iphone because of how frustrating it is in missing every shot. I guess if you are taking pics of something that don't move then this might be a good purchase. I don't have the time to figure this thing out. I tried changing settings to what was recommended with no success. Good Luck!

This is a nice camera and it takes great pictures easily. When bought in a package with accessories the value is increased. The design has a bulge that makes the grip substantial and less awkward than smaller flat cameras. For its size, the weight is good.
