This is a great product, easy to connect and set up.

I was happy to have a modem with built in wifi. This works much better than the old outdated modem I was using before. Signal strength of the wifi is stronger and reaches my basement so I can work there without a problem.

I have used one for many years & recommended a friend.

Century link made this easy. I needed a new wireless modem/router or for my home. Instead of seeking out a new one at a century link kiosk, when I called tech-support and they determined that I needed a new one, I asked what I should get and where I could get it. They pointed me toward Best Buy. I couldn't be happier.

I needed a new modem and require Century Links tech service so this was my only option. It works great! I wish it had costed less. Best Buy had it stocked in store and the price was the same as I would have paid to Century Link.

the "h" looked like a "n" so I had issues during activation. The Century Link customer service representative was top notch. Price was the same as from Century Link

I read reviews online before going to Best Buy to buy this item. Buyers whose ISP is Centurylink recommended staying with the Centurlink modem and have had good results with it. I'd say the same so far. We were having to restart our modem daily until we bought this one and haven't had to restart it for a month so far.

Works great and I'm saving money by not renting one.

Like the product and built-in wireless. Easy set-up except provided cords not long enough for hook up with a large computer desk unit.

I have this modems predecessor, the Qwest Q1000 at my office and was hoping for the same or better quality and/or service at home with the new C1000A, however, although it sets up easy and looks the same interface wise but it has been randomly cutting off access to the internet and needs rebooting. There also, seems to be a lack of controls, the weblog file fills and and stops refreshing, and it come with preset QOS entries for Centurylink services "Direct TV and VOIP" that we don't have. If NetGear had a VDSL modem that was CenturyLink ready out of the box, that would have been my choice. It is still an ActionTec Modem so in comparison to others you can buy in that price range, is the best choice for the job.

Hands down simple, fast and will buy again. Do buy!

I got what I paid for, the unit wasn't strong enough to keep me signed to the internet in my half basement. I just bought a Belkin unit to extend it now works fine...

I never expect anything computer related to ever be as effortless as most manuals state. This was different. I literally transferred the wire configuration from my old modem to this new one and it did everything else on it's own. We use a separate router at my house and that also picked up the new modem and required no other action. I didn't have to reset anything, I didn't have to log into my century link account and I didn't have to call customer service, thank god! I have been running this modem now for about 3 months and I have not had one issue with any aspect of this product

Price seemed reasonable and works great in my home.

This modem/router works ok. I would just prefer an internet provider not selling products that work with just their items. I would like to choose between multiple options and could not because of where I live.
