My wife and I got tired of going to coffee shops because of the long lines and sometimes getting a bad cup of jo, and all sugar inside a drink, so we decided to buy the chefman espresso machine this is the best product that you can buy. the flavor is amazing and smooth. It’s easy to use and clean up. there is no warm up time all you need to do is turn on and press a button 10 seconds or less to enjoy. Also buy good quality espresso for greater taste.

This is a serious upgrade from my instant or drip coffee and it's saving me lots of money on Starbucks. I use it multiple times a day now. Easy to use and I love the milk froth feature that can be added to anything.

The machine itself is pretty adequate. It's definitely a learning process to figure out the grind and quantity of coffee to use, but if you're used to grinding fresh for standard brewers it's not too bad.
It makes an adequate espresso, and the milk functions are mostly solid. I definitely appreciate the self-cleaning function, which was a major selling point for me, but it mostly only cleans out the milk components and a tiny bit of the grounds left in the dock for the portafilter (NOT all of them).
On the downside, it's not flimsy but I definitely get the impression it's not built for even moderate use. The dispenser of the frother and the milk intake begin to fall off just from shaking the lid of the reservoir once or twice to help it dry, and the fins of the portafilter can pretty easily get caught and scratched up when you're inserting it. Also, they talk a big game about "all the removable parts" being machine-washable, but they actually just mean the drip tray cover and the filters themselves - nothing else.
That said, you get what you pay for with this. $160 isn't nothing, but it's way less than most of the other home espresso machines out there that include automated functions, milk steaming, and a self-cleaning cycle. Ours is in a small office, and it does an adequate job for what we need it to do.

This maker offers a lot of great features at a great price point. Easy to use and makes great espresso. The milk tank works great and have removed it after use a d store in a refrigerator. The only complaint is the limitations of cups that fit under the maker and allow the milk tube to sit correctly. Wouldn't let this be a huge detractor as there are a lot of wide mouth cups that work well.

Heavy, lotta tinkering and manuevering, and too much work for an ok cup of joe. Bought this since my local coffee shop continually has machine outages and can't rely to get a latte when I'd crave or need. Plus for convienience, which this does not fit the bill. It's super loud so there goes trying not to wake up the entire house while making coffee. Leaks coffee grounds into my coffe despite following t/s steps via guides.

5 star for legit espresso and ease of making cappa and lattes.
digital switch board gives high end look and easy to use/intuitive. extra large water storage..nice finish and still compact.
BUT few operational issues.
1) locking/rotating portafilter needs quite a bit force ( may be it will ease out over time)
2) 99% chance of accidently pressing digital button while locking porta filter (work around - dont turn on the unit till filter is locked in)
3) min milk level is 100ml, so if you dont use all , you gotta remove and store or lose it.
overall, happy with the product and recommend it.

This product has worked great for over a year. I am fairly regular on use cycle. The only thing I miss is cold foam maker other than that this is so perfect and reliant, easy to clean and a quality appliance

Buena, bonita y barata. Good, nice and cheap. It makes a decent work. For half of the price this one will do a great caramel macchiato, latte or espresso. Easy to use and clean.

Got this a few weeks ago and so far it has been great (other than the first one arriving chipped, but Best Buy made it easy to get a new one to me).
I used to go to Starbucks every single day because I enjoy Americanos more than regular coffee and this works perfectly (and I haven’t been to Starbucks in weeks).
I’m crossing my fingers I don’t have issues in the future, but loving the espresso machine so far

This espresso machine is amazing. Setup was easy. Takes about 30-45 secs to heat up. The materials feel nice quality and gives an expensive look. If you are someone who wants an automatic espresso machine but dont want to do the manual labor this machine is for you. It is very durable. I was worried with no reviews but I'm glad with my choice. Plus on yop there is a small mug warmer. I have zero complaints

It may take you a bit long to learn how to use it properly, but overall it's a great deal for this price .
After each time loading ground coffee, it might take a short while to start dripping spresso . Be patient. If it doesn't start , it means you either need to compress the coffee more or you added too much coffee.

Coffee tastes really good. There are some ergonomics problems. Being right handed I have difficulties to place and remove coffee holder with strainer.
