I didn’t even know about this movie until a couple days ago. I saw a review on YouTube about this, advertising the SteelBook. I decided to check it out and glad I did. I really enjoyed this movie, and thought it was well done. The sets and the costumes looked really nice. Beautifully done movie, and very enjoyable. Kind of movie that takes your mind off everyday life and you can just sit back and enjoy. I’m glad I went with the SteelBook instead of just the regular 4K slip cover, it looks fantastic!

Out of all the Disney Remakes that have recently come out, this one remains the best one. The steelbook is also a good design. Get it while you still can.

Excellent movie I love Cinderella as a kid definitely a classic!

We thought this was just going to be for the kids - and I wasn't really that into seeing "Cinderella." But, I was thoroughly surprised by how beautifully crafted this film is...the art direction (settings, costumes, etc.) and cinematography are first rate. And the performances are very good - Cate Blanchett as the Stepmother gave an outstanding performance that was filled with nuance and realistically vicious and hateful. I don't know if this was a popular film at the movies or not - but, if you're looking for a movie for the whole family to watch - especially with young children, this is the one for you. I couldn't really give it five stars because, well, it's STILL "Cinderella" and not really all that INCREDIBLE a movie...but definitely a GOOD movie.

This live-action adaptation to Disney’s Cinderella is simply wonderful! A delight for all ages. I couldn’t help, but purchase this Steelbook at $9.99 on sale for one day. Awesome addition to my Disney collection.

Aesthetically it was beautiful to watch (wonderful cinematography) and it had a fun campy take on this classic tale. LOVED IT!

It’s a very nice steelbook for a decent movie. The premise is simple but changing it for this movie didn’t make sense but still enjoyable

Story: This is not by far the best Cinderella movie I have ever seen, but it serves very well. A very enjoyable movie, one you could just lay back, relax, and just absorb the story in. I felt that the first half of the movie could be done better, but from the transformation scene onwards is an absolutely delight to watch. The transformation scene with the Godmother fairy and Cinderella and the ballroom dance are worth watching. Steelbook case: I'm disappointed that they didn't put much effort into the art of the steelbook case to be striking. It just look like a photo from the 1950s slapped on the cover. 4K video: For the most part, there is indeed significant improvement on the video quality compared to Blu-ray. There were some points in the movie where the picture came off as soft, indistinguishable from Blu-ray. I thought the picture upgrade was nicely done. Subtitles: I don't see any major issues with the subtitles. The subtitles come across at the right pace. Thankfully, there are no very bright scenes that might would make the subtitles hard to read. It's done right. Disc extras: there are actually very few extras. However, two of them are worth watching. "Staging the Ball" takes a look at creating the ballroom. You'd be very impressed with what they've done and would help you appreciate the movie more. "Frozen Fever" is a very cute, enjoyable animated short featuring Ella and Anne from "Frozen". In all, I am happy to have "Cinderella" added to my movie collection!

5-STAR FABULOUS. I expected a lot from Disney Studios in their "live action" remake of their classic animated "Cinderella" story. Disney delivered. The story [always the most important criterion] was made even better. Casting was perfect. Animation was A-plus. I had only one minor disappointment -- the "mice friends" did not sing their "Cinderelli" song that was in the classic animated film. This is surely a new Disney classic -- 5-star film worth buying, and worth seeing again and again. I am a parent, and I think that this movie is just fine for even 5 year old children. Young children will certainly enjoy this film when they get older. A must-see.

My daughter absolutely loves this movie that she had the branch tree quote tattooed on her for many reasons besides she’s a Disney fan all day:)

Great live-action adaptation of Walt Disney's animated classic. Although it is true to the overall plot, this movie takes a creative liberty with the plot that takes into consideration Cinderella's real parentage and gives the audience an understanding for her stepmother's own mistreatment of Cinderella. Acting and scenery are fantastic and costumes are stunning. Cate Blanchett delivers a stellar performance as the stepmother. Great for both children and adults.

This movie is my absolute favorite!!! Of all the live action Disney movies this is by far the best. They slightly expand on the original animated story but in a helpful and very meaningful way. It is cast perfectly and I am in tears every time I watch it! The steelbook is a must have for any fan and a beautiful addition to a Disney collection! I only wish the discs didn’t cover up the image of Cinderella on the inside but I still love it ❤️

This is a delightful take on Cinderella! I love that the heroine is much more developed and interesting than previous renditions, and the theme of "Have courage and be kind" was refreshing. The bullying was intense and poignant, Cate Blanchett is at her absolute best, the costuming was spectacular. If your children liked the animated version, this is an essential addition to your collection when they are ready for it.

I have loved this film ever since it came out back in 2015 and have been anticipating it being released in 4k for some time now. It was worth the wait, as it looks just as breathtaking as it did back on the big screen when I first saw it. The steelbook is cute and a nice collectors item. If you are looking for a nice family film, or even a film for comfort, I highly recommend this.

This live action Cinderella is one of the really good one's stayed with storyline but did a great job with it love the blue cinderella dress did a great job with cast worth watching and really glad to have found a blu ray and dvd together on blu ray really like watching the special features how the movie was being made behind the scenes and hearing what the cast has to say.

I don't know why I like this one really. It's the same old story of Cinderella. It is very pretty to look at though. Costumes are great, and I do like Cate Blanchett as the stepmother.
