We sincerely apologize for the inadvertent typo on the page, and that your initial contact with our support staff felt less than satisfactory.

We would like to thank you for bringing the typo to our attention; we immediately reached out to Best Buy and had it corrected.

Please know that we have also taken steps to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future.

We also believe we know how the typo was introduced to the listing. For this chassis, the manufacturer does list the maximum number of possible internal 3.5” bays as 6, and the maximum number of internal dedicated 2.5” bays as 2. However, the ability to utilize some of the 3.5” bay spaces can depend on additional brackets, and the components used in a particular build.

The typo was that the technically correct number for the maximum 3.5” bays that the chassis is potentially capable of was shown, instead of the value that should have been - the number of bays usable in the configuration as shipping. For this configuration, the accessible drive bays are: 2x 2.5” and 2x 3.5”.

We also apologize if any short delay in reply caused there to appear to be any unfamiliarity, confusion, or “guessing”, on the part of our Friendly Customer Service Team. They were merely taking the time to look up the component list as well as the images for your particular systems, which were taken and put on record, as the computers were being processed for packaging and shipping.

This helped them to determine the layout and possible solutions, such as the idea of perhaps moving the liquid cooler radiator to the top of the system. While it was natural that this potential option be considered, as the radiator is certainly capable of fitting there, the feasibility of this depends on the particular configuration, especially the motherboard used. Unfortunately, as we examined this configuration, it was determined that this would not be an option, in this instance.

During our follow-up contacts, we did propose another solution, but as the return of at least one of the systems had already been proceeded with, that was not explored further, which we of course, understood.
