I purchased the battery to power a 12 volt bilge pump in a 17 foot sea kayak. It will also be used to recharge mobile phones and GPS batteries etc, It is much smaller and lighter that the sealed lead acid 9 AH, 12 volt, 6 pound battery I use now. I just can't imagine how this battery will produce 7.5 AH and I will not put it to full use until late this year. I would recommend it to a friend only if it performs over time. I will never use it to start a car.

I have jump started many cars in my days. However, the new experience of having my own jump starter in my backpack or briefcase is a wonderful new experience. Not only do I not have to bother someone else I know, or beg a favor from a stranger, which I have done many times, but the process is easier as well: two connections rather than four. For someone like my wife, who is both appropriately aware of approaching strangers and is not all that comfortable with electricity, it is a godsend. I am getting another for my daughter. We all live in cold climates where batteries do have more strain on them and need to be jumped about once every year or so. We all have small cars; I'm not sure how well this device would work on larger engines. The ability to carry extra phone/tablet recharges with me is a welcome addition, but I would not get a $100 battery for that purpose.

I buy more gadgets in a month than most mortals do in a year. I am not bragging. I am only saying this because I see mostly pure crapola from S.E. Asian knock-off companies. This is no knock-off. My old Honda Accord has 250k miles on it and after having been stolen and her console removed (by thieves to easily/safely remove the high-end audio system) her electrical system was filled with quirks. Rather than call AAA every other day, I found Cobra's device and it saved me big bucks and big headaches. After just connecting the cables for a half-a-minute as I moved to get behind the wheel I was instantly jumped upon the first try. I later needed the jump about 4 times a week until the wiring issues and battery was fully recharged. I am a 100% believer in this little dynamo!

On my first full charge I was able to jump my car. Easy to understand instructions. Has a flashlight, which comes in very handy. Thinking of buying more as gifts.

This does exactly what it says. It's very small, charges easily and stores anywhere. Only two downsides are: (i) no case -- so you get a bunch of components and nothing to put them in; and (ii) there's not a lot of length to the jumper cables so you need a ground that it close to the positive terminal.

It doesn't sound like it cranks fast but it's been enough to start it. I used it several times on a 2002 Camry and a 2012 Mazda CX-7 that will go dead if you leave an inside courtesy light on for an hour. Until I decide to get a battery, this has worked great. I've heard you need 400 amps which this battery has. You can go for a bigger type unit or get this one which is probably a little cheaper, will charge your phone, is definitely smaller, and has done the job so far! Have to give it 5 stars. Have no reason not to!

Used it after fully charging it to test a jump start of my 2007 Mazda 6 and it worked great! That car usually can't take a jump using traditional cables hooked up to another car... so this is a great device for me to have handy in case I ever have my car's battery die for real. Also used it to throw some juice into my iPhone once. It is nice to have this device... and these options!

Purchased this instore with a price match. This product does the job. I have had it 3 months and have used on large V8 S Class and Ford Explorer engine with huge dead batteries. At first I was concerned since most online vid demo's are done with little put put toyota's etc. But it handles the big boys just as well. Nearly make the engine spin out of engine compartment. Needless to say..people are amazed. I don't usually review a product,, but this is worth the time and trouble. Would be nice if had a carry case, but I keep mine in packaging. One could get a small media/cam case for it cheap. Thanks Best Buy for carrying this great product

This jump pack is perfect and practical for anyone you can charge any device with a USB port or easily jump start a car even in low temperatures, so far I have done 5 jumps with a single charge

Ok this is a must have item excellent for motorcycle nice and compact fits in the saddle bags or trunk ,and also good to have in the clove compartment in the car never know when you need a jump or to power your phone.

Looks cool, portable. Havent used it to start a car yet, but im confident it will work. Btw its better to use this than another car when battery is dead. Only drawback is that it cant be charged using a now standard USB port

The Cobra JumPack is well constructed, takes up little space, and holds a charge for quite a while.

Awesome simple product that saved me the day after i bought it. Sinple too....attach clamps to car battery plug them into the jumpack and wait.

Got to use this on a Subaru that hasn't been driven for quite a while and has a dead battery. Was skeptical, but with the first turn of the key, car immediately started.. JumpPack still shows full charge. Prior to this was used by wife as an external battery charger for her phone.

Have had the Jumpack for a couple of weeks. Have not used it to jump start a vehicle. Have used it on an iPad air and iPhone 6. Works as advertised .

My Mother has an old jag for fun weekend driving but being a temperamental car it has a tendency to not start. Having to jump it all the time with a second car is extremely annoying. Now even she can jumpstart her own car, quickly and conveniently. As the electrical system is dodgy, she can then use the Cobra to power her phone to use Mapquest to go exploring.

I haven't had to jump my car yet, but I read other reviews and am confident it will do the trick. Its very convenient for charging devices, and I have decided this is part of my emergency plan for power outages.

The JumPack is a nice small size that is easy to store but provides a quick jumpstart if needed. Convenient and easy to use right out of the box. Extremely satisfied!!

Fortunately, I haven't had to use the jumper cables to get my car started, but this is a pretty neat little device with power pack and light-strobe-sos function included as well. I hope my car battery doesn't die, but I'll be ready for it if it does.
