I love this remote start, had it installed by geek squad and was able to keep my factory keyless entry and trunk pop and has been reliable thus far, the two way remote is a huge plus as it let's me know the car actually started and is running, I would highly recommend!!

Installed early March, it's been working great. Appreciate not having to sit and wait for car to warm in the mornings or after work. The main key notifies you that the signal has been received, which is a plus.

This Compustar starter can reach up to 3000 feet away! yes I can start my car inside the shopping mall while walking toward the parking lot. The engine will run for 20 minutes and automatic cut off in case I forgot to get to my car. It's an awesome device when the weather is freezing out, I can start up the vehicle while in door and have it warm up before getting in. Especially when taking my kids to school in the morning during winter time. Highly recommended.

I spend most of my time in Colorado and also spend some summers in Texas. It has been so helpful to have my car warm during CO winters, and cool with the AC on during TX summers. I love the 2-way feature because I like the confirmation that my car has started (glad I decided to upgrade from 1-way). Also, this has a really far range; I'm on the 3rd floor in my apartment building, and when I park on the far end of the parking lot in my building, it still reaches (4/5 times). Definitely worth it in my book.

Remote start works as advertised. Range is good and installation went well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great remote start.

I had the Compustart 2 way remote start installed in my 2011 chevy Silverado and its awesome! I love the 2 way remote system that responds with sound letting you know the vehicle is started, as well as when you unlock and lock the vehicle. The range on this remote is amazing! I live in an apartment and can start it from my bedroom when I wake up in the morning. The distance is at least a quarter mile from my room depending on where I find parking, so it seems to work through walls and objects just fine. I also love the blue alarm armed light flashing constantly when the vehicle is locked. Great thief deterant especially when I have a nice sound system I would hate to get stolen. I would definitely recommend this system to a friend. Thanks Compustart!

Had installed by geek squad. Everything works as advertised and the range and feedback on the two way remote is outstanding. System has a lot of expand ability options for future upgrades. Well worth it if you are looking for a remote starter.

Bought for our son's car. This 2 way remote starter is very easy to use and so convenient for the kind of weather here in the midwest. Very happy for the price I paid compared to the other brands that we have had for our other cars.

I haven't had my remote starter very long but so far it is excellent....range is phenominal... if and when I sell this vehicle I will be using the free removal program so I can install it in my next ride...

Exactly what was needed. Distance, reliability, security and winter warmth!!! Excellent system. I purchased 2. 1 for a 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer and a second for a 2017 Subaru Forester.

This remote start has great distance, helps to have vehicle warming on my 2 block walk to truck from work. The installer was incredibly personable and very knowledgeable.

Works great, range is much further than my old system. I can now start from inside my building and get confirmation that it's running.

Great car starter. Fast installation and to this point it has not let us down during the cold months when a start up was needed.

I recently had the compustar installed in my Honda. So far I like the product except you are unable to open the trunk with the remote start button. Not a inconvenience due to I can still open it with my regular key.

This system has exceeded my expectations. So much so that I bought a second time be for my diesel. The only downside is that you have to set the fan speed, temp, and defroster to the run position so that it will defrost the windshield after using the remote start. Still great though!

I have been looking for a 2-Way Remote Start System for some time for a couple of reasons. 1.) Convenience during winter, and 2.) We lost a spare car key and they cost $450+ each so this seemed like a perfect solution. I've had this product now for about 5 months and it's fine except that I'd have to question its maximum transmitter range of 3000 feet. I work on a college campus so I'd suspect that the frequency rate is weakened when your vehicle is in the middle of 500 other cars because I've never been able to get it to start unless I'm more or less 200 feet away. Again, this 3000 feet transmitter range is likely accurate in the event that you're in an open space. A little disappointed about this.
