This product on the surface when you first open it up looks extremely basic. I did a lot of comparing between this and Sony Vegas and decided on this. At first I was very disappointed in the product mainly because it shared no hot keys with vegas, i.e. "S" is to split clips in Vegas and "V" is to split clips in studio. I was pretty stubborn at first about all the differences, but I eventually took the time to fiddle with everything and really learn all the different hot keys and features. I must say this product is vastly superior to the similarly priced version of vegas. The added transitions and effects that come with studio are a much higher quality than I used many years ago when I bought a pinnacle dazzle. The editing options take getting used to and the render I am still figuring out the perfect settings, but I am sure I will clean everything up eventually. This is a great product that is definitely not intuitive for a former Sony Vegas user, but it was the right choice at the right price and I would pick this again if I had the choice. I included a picture of the layout of the editing board.

Uses to work with Mac, this program is better than MAC video editing software. I love it.

Large learning curve but once understood easy to use

I have always use the corelvideostudio but now I tryed this one and It has way more effects, transitions, etc than the corel. I still like corelvideostudio and sometimes I make videos mixing both programs in 1 video.

Purchased for personal and school use. Didn't want to spend a lot. Easy to use, worked well given it's lower end price point.

Excellent for editing videos and upload them on YouTube. There is a lot of nice features.

Pinnacle studio was very easy to install. User interface is very easy to use.

Pinnacle is one of my favorite programs to use. Be careful when installing it many times. I had a problem with my computer and had to install it multiple times. If you use the serial number too many times, they program WILL stop you. I spoke to Pinnacle's support and cannot restore my purchase. I had to buy another one.

I have been using Pinnacle Studio 21 for about a year and it took a little practice at first. I was a newbie to video editing and the salesman at best Buy recommended Pinnacle. It has a lot of fun video editing options and tutorials. I will recommend if you are new to the program to take the time to watch the tutorials. I have since purchased the online upgrade and have so much fun making videos.

I am new at this but so far seems to be better than other products I have tried.

This is a great program to get organized with your pictures and videos.

Give yourself some time to get use to the editing time will come along and will be easy to figure it out. check out some online tutoring on youtube is very helpful!

This was a simple movie and picture editing software to get use to. I Appreciate the total support videos given to watch to help me through practically anything I wanted to get into

this is a program that is easy to use and it is what all video editors need. also photographers could use it with a green screen and place any one in any background

This editing program does so much more than you would think you would get for the price. I upgrade every three or four years and have never been disappointed.

Having not liked Pinnacle Studio after version 15 I was surprised to find that a lot of the issues, like the complicated editing structure that started in Version 16 were no longer there. Studio resolves complaints found in the previous versions since Corel has taken over the product and the rendering time has been sped up greatly. If you've been considering upgrading this is the version you've been waiting for.

Definitely takes some learning by messing around with the program. I have never edited my own videos till now and love the program

Still learning on how to get the best use from Pinnacle Studio

It’s a great program for what you need and can learn more advanced features as you go. There is some learning required to start using it to start but that is to be expected with this type of program.
