After using PowerDirector for many years to make family videos, I decided to give VideoStudio a try as the sale price was significantly cheaper than PowerDirector. Overall I have been very impressed. VideoStudio's auto music function is much better than PowerDirector. My kids have also enjoyed the stop motion capabilities. Most significantly, upgrades have been offered much cheaper than PowerDirector, so I believe this will be a more cost effective product over the years.

Overall great product. Does what it needs to do. For what i use it for (simple video game videos), its exceptional. Obviously not going to have the same UI as others but once you get used to it, its really good. I recommend spending time working in the software. My advice is to not compare to other video editing software. When trying new software, i try to leave my expectatiins out the window.

Bought the Corel Video Studio Ultimate to edit the videos I took on my resent vacation and I love all the features it has. I am still learning to use the many features it has but, I love most of all the Mercalli Stabilization Filter. It helps to reduce the shaking around of the my video.

This product performed as I expected it to. It saved to multiple formats which is a real benefit. It wasn't difficult to learn either. This was an excellent buy at this price point. I've already recommended it a couple of times.

I just installed it and it looks like the interface is not complicated. It has a lot of tools for editing. i'm still trying to figure out what cameras it is compatible with.

Not for a beginner. It's ok if you know what you are doing.

Great video editing software for the price. Does what I need it to do. Still finding out how everything works, but seems to have good tutorials.

Have been using Corel for 5 years...this version is not usable as several functions are unusable...Adorage function has been corrupted...all you get is a message in Chinese characters...also the pan and zoom, preferences, and motion detection boxes are all bigger than the screen...multiple pleas to tech department only generates robot responses...it has been a month since my first complaint...where are you Human Corel?
