If you are powering more than 3 Corsair fans (up to 6) this item is essential to your setup. Easy plug and play. iCue easily recognized it. Ability to control fan speeds. Support for rgb control. Just wish it wasn’t as expensive.

Easy to install, instructions included are easy to understand. Only con is I wish this would be included on the SP 120 mm fan 3 pack as You need this to help adjust fan speeds when installed in your build. Either than that works easily.

Pretty good fan hub/controller. Makes it easy to manage all the fans in the case, any RGB parts you might have, and it doubles as a USB 2.0 header hub as well. It's a little pricey, but it gets the job done. I have it on both of my PCs.

100% the best PC fan control and lighting solution on the market right now. Nothing even comes close. Quite pricy, but deserves to be, IMO. They've cornered the market.

This is exactly what i needed to go beyond 3 fans in my case. I now run 6 case fans. I also USB daisy chain a h150i with 2 more fans from the port on this hub. RGB all synched up nice.

Able to connect my RGB Lightning and my RGB Fans to this without using more than one controller. Can hook up to 6 Fans, 2 RGB Lighting, and 4 Temperatures to this unit without needing more than one controller.

Helps me to control the speed of my 4 case fans (2 exhaust, 2 rad intake) and the lighting of my 2 corsair LL fans. Nicely implemented, but $70 is steep.

If you love you gaming/streaming PC this is the best controller for up to 6 fans, 4 temperature sensors (that can be placed anywhere you would like to monitor the temp of any area), 2 led links, and 2 extra USB slots

Allowed me to add additional fans to my PC and easily control all fan settings (RGB and Performance).
Was a bit confusing at first, but a search on Corsair's forums will clear up any questions you may have.

This is needed along with the LED fans from Corsair to control the color output as well as any LED light strips you may have. Each lighting controller can control up to 6 fans or strips. This controller also has temperature leads which can be placed around the case to monitor zone temperatures. (this is my least favorite feature of the controller as most quality gaming boards already have numerous temperature monitors and adding more just makes a mess). The iCue software instantly recognizes the controller and allows you to setup your color preferences. Do remember to keep fans on one color controller and strips on the other, or all fans/strips on both as the strips and fans have different configurations available. Love it!

I've had the Commander Pro for about 24 hours. It's had some ups and downs, but mostly up. Starting with the good, the Commander Pro greatly simplified my cabling. I've long been a stickler for very clean cable management. Before using the Commander, I had two separate Silverstone fan hubs (one for intake fans and another for exhaust), so each had a PWM cable going to the motherboard and a SATA power cable. That is to say that, in addition to the 6 cables for my 6 case fans, we had 4 extra cables (two PWM, two power). This was a necessity because on basic PWM hubs you can't set fan speeds individually. Basic hubs like that can only be set as an entire unit.

I didn't need this but I wanted it just so I could control fan speeds and have some extra fan headers. Works as advertised. Little expensive though.

Full disclosure I ended up taking this back. The other kits I bought came with other adaptors and I didn't need this one. (AIO cooler, LED strips, and the case itself). The downside is that my motherboard only had 2 usb 2.0 headers which is how this is powered. So I ended up going on Amazon/Newegg to buy a header splitter which turned one header into 4. Highly recommend. This could've potentially replaced the need for that but it was much more expensive and like I said the AIO and the LED strips and the Case all came with their own smaller controller.

With all these RGB computers, it can be a pain to tie everything together. This controller does the trick. Especially useful are the six PWM fan headers that, when used with iCue, allow you to create custom fan curves for your PC. You gain an extra USB 2.0 port (the unit has two but you use one for install) and four temp sensors to place around your PC to help in monitoring your PC's cooling performance. Highly recommended.

Great Product for Corsair Lovers

Like many other people who are either currently viewing this product or have already boughten it you’ve already invested quite a bit of money into Corsair products already. The commander PRO is definitely worth spending a little more to have everything sync up. Whether that be expanding your fans or syncing multiple light strips together. The extra USB 2.0 slots come in handy as well, I have my cpu cooler pump plugged into my commander pro. My only complaint is that when my fans are plugged into the commander pro I have to set custom fan curves or it would run my fans at 1400rpms despite the cpu being at 30C and iCue set to quiet. They don’t do this when plugged directly into the MOBO

This is necessary if you want more control over your fans. Also your best option if you have lots of RGB fans. Does what it's supposed to do.
