Great keyboard for action gaming...typing eh SHIFT

I love the feel of this keyboard. Typing is great. It really is. The only design flaw that I can think of is that the SHIFT characters are under the primary character rather than being on top of them. Slightly strange and at first i didn't even notice it. Most may not, but if you type a lot at work and come home and type, it can get a bit confusing. I guess it only affects me when coding some at home. Anyway, it is a great keyboard. Price is not friendly, but the feel is for the serious at heart. The LED is the icing on the cake. It truly will open eyes once you customize the lighting and start typing up a storm (key lightening)!!!

Just bought the Corsair gaming strafe keyboard and it has changed my gaming experience for the better. Very responsive keyboard and the cool wave lighting is fun and functional as I can play in total darkness without fumbling for any commands. Price point was good at right around $100 on sale. Would buy this product again.

I bought this keyboard because I was needing a backlit keyboard. Bought this one because it has great features, quality, and reviews. Only thing was I thought it was Wireless. That is what I wanted. And I was disappointed when I found out it wasn't. But Corsair doesn't make a full size wireless keyboard with the silent key features. But after using it I ended up keeping it. Corsair make the RGB Full size 102 key keyboard with Silent keys in wireless with lithium battery Please!!!!

This keyboard is great. It functions well, the individual backlit led keys are individually customizable. The keypress is linear and very quiet, which is a plus when using a mic, because the last thing everyone wants to hear is click click click (ahem RAZER..) Only gripe is that for the price point, it should come with G keys. The rest of the features are great, but dont warrent the price point, especially with the build materials.

First time dipping my toes into RGB and understood the important of sticking to an ecosystem. I bought this keyboard during a sale which dictated my purchase. If I was going to spend normal price I would’ve opted for K70 (metal housing) with Brown Switches (tactile and quiet).

I'd heard a lot about the benefits of mechanical keyboards for gaming, so I did some research and decided to take the plunge. I dislike "clicky" keyboards, so I made sure to look for quiet or silent key switches. This keyboard uses Cherry MX Red switches, and they're generally very quiet, though I do hear some noise when keys lift back into position (not enough to bother me, though). The lighting effects are a secondary concern for me, but I had no trouble with the iCUE software, unlike other users. My lone "issue" is that this keyboard is a bit smaller than my previous one--a Logitech G510--so I'm still getting used to the positioning. The included textured WASD keys are a nice touch, however. Overall, I like this keyboard a lot and can see it getting a lot of use in the coming years.

I bought this for my son a a gift awhile ago. It’s quite pricey compared to other brand. My son like it a lot and use it to play games. After having it for a few years now without problems I would defined say that it’s worth paying extra for this keyboard. My other son bought a different brand that’s a lot cheaper but did not last too long and had to replace it right away.

I bought this recently for my bf who does a lot of computer gaming. He loves the color patterns he can set ur on the keys for each game he is playing. And also he loves the fast input he gets with the mechanical keyboard. Really great buy

    Nice Update from the MK1

I only enter the mechanical keyboard market due to the STRAFE MK1 having Cherry Silent switches. I personally like minimizing noise while optimizing performance as much as possible. The MK1 had no issues except when some errors occasionally occurred with the iCUE software, but aside from that I thought it was great. The MK2 is pretty much the same with some nice updates such as the new aluminum top section that has the new RGB logo, profile switching key, and the new volume wheel. I actually prefer dedicated audio keys/buttons over the wheel, but it works well enough for now. The old MK1 had a chrome logo that was glue on and eventually broke apart with wipe down cleaning over time and this one won't. I didn't need to upgrade to the new one, but it was on sale for such a good price I couldn't pass it up.

The keyboard itself is fantastic. It uses the Cherry silent switches. While I wouldn't call it quiet, it is not annoyingly loud. For gaming, it is definitely a step-up over my son's previous non-mechanical keyboard. It also works very well for typing - extremely responsive and comfortable. The only downside so far (and the reason for 4 stars) is that Corsair's program for controlling the RGB settings is pretty terrible and non-intuitive.

Bought for my sons computer. Does come with the program to customized your own color scheme. Too much for me to do, he just wanted a cool looking keyboard to light up. If you have the time to adjust the colors, even better.

I’ve had this product for awhile and it’s shown no signs of wear and works just as good as new, a reliable brand and a nice feeling keyboard. I’ve had a few keyboards breaking on me and I’ve never had a problem with Corsair. Would recommend.

Really like this keyboard, it's kinda heavy but very well made, like super solid. The cords are thick and there are two so be aware of your usb port situation in advance. Looks nice, and feels nice too.

So I’m not really a pc gamer of any sort. Kids are loving the ability of the customization options from the lighting, to key caps, and ability to make and keep separate profiles for certain games. As far as typing I think it’s pretty comfortable for me and don’t find any issues up to this point and has been used for at least 3 weeks. Also, had to mention the price drop so not as expensive as it was. Even when I attempted to return this keyboard to spend more on another I thought they’d want. They turned it down. Which means that this keyboard fits their needs along with mine just fine. Perfect value and capabilities.

I actually bought two of these. One for my gaming PC, one for my work computer. I love the feel of the Cherry-MX keys, and it's just an overall comfy keyboard. I love how it interacts with the key bindings when I plan certain games. Highly recommended.

It’s a great rgb mechanical keyboard for the price. Sure there are MUCH cheaper mechical keyboards out there, but if you really really really want customizable RGB lighting, this keyboard is the most affordable (at least of those I’ve seen).
