Good not Great

So, first off. Before you read this and take my word as gold, you need to understand where I am coming from first.
Okay, these are great headphones. But for gaming, here are some things I will say about that. Then I will talk about these being used for other programs.
Gaming: Great sound. The mic is great. The build is solid quality. Ear cushions are soft and over the ear. Meaning they cover my ears, not on them. Which translate to longer playtime without the ears hurting.
The mic from what my boys are saying sound clear and good. Quality is super and is detachable. I do not need to detach it but should you feel the need you MUST NOT LOSE the rubber insert that goes into the mic area on the headset. There is only one and it is easy to lose.
I like the look of the cream (faux) leather with the stitching. I was going to go with the black model but I have so many in black, so this was a nice change. The yokes are made from aluminum I believe and they seem really sturdy. Even though I do not beat up on my tech stuff, these seem like they will last me a long time.
The wireless is good without having to go 40 feet away which is what this is rated for. Up to 16 hrs of battery life means if left on without playing. Playing time varies and depends on if you turn on surround sound 7.1 software that comes with the headset.
Overall, good headset. So, now for some reasons why it's Good not great.
I like that these work great for basic stuff too like YouTube, Webinars, and Zoom/Google Meet/and Go To Meeting work related stuff.
The CUE interface software that comes with it for some reason, interferes with other software and with my Razer Synapse Software.
Not, super noise cancelling but it never was suppose to be. There's no mic up mic down to switch mic on or off. There's only a button on the headset that allows for mic mute.
I have had other headsets that are far superior but for also far more money. This Corsair Headset is a great deal which I got a discount at Best Buy on one of their deal days. But for a $100 and under headset, great buy. If I could, I'd give it 4.5 stars.

These work great! I love the audio out and have never had any issues with it. My only small issue with it is that it is a micro usb cable.

Good headphones hurt by a common issue

TLDR: These are good headphones with a flaw. There is a chance that when you buy these headphones they will have a minor buzzing issue.
The good: I like these headphones. The audio quality is great but you should definitely apply an equalizer profile to them because they sound weird out of the box. I recommend using the Clear Chat preset in iCue. The battery lasts a pretty good amount of time and the microphone sound pretty decent. I like the look of the headphones and the build quality is pretty good (for now). The surround sound is definitely a plus but make sure you turn off surround sound when you listen to music or watch a video.
The bad: Like I said in the tldr, there is a minor buzzing noise. You won't notice it when you're playing a video game or listening to music unless you're actively trying to listen for it. You'll still definitely be able to hear it when nothing is playing and it can be annoying. If you notice a buzzing noise, try switching where the usb receiver is plugged in or do a soft reset. The next issue is not that big of a deal to me but it might be to some. The headphones can feel toasty if you use it for an hour or two without taking it off.
The ugly: I ended up getting a defective pair of headphones originally. They made an annoying popping noise in both speakers so I used the warranty to send them to Corsair and they gave me back a brand new one. It was an inconvenience but Corsair's support team is nice and helpful (but a little slow).
Otherwise these are pretty good headphones. Maybe I got unlucky twice and you won't have any buzzing or popping noise. If you do notice it you should exchange the headphones quickly

Better than the void

I've owned both these and the void pro RGB. They both have great sound, but these fit better and don't try and fall off your head if you move around. You can also position the headband wherever you like as apposed to the void which can only be worn directly across the top of the head. The ear pads are better on the void because they are cloth and therefore don't get all sweaty after an hour, but cloth covers can be added to remedy that. It's was easier to mute the void by lifting the mic up, but it just takes a little getting used to to use the bottom on the HS70 pro. Battery life is great and the iCue software works great, especially if your keyboard and mouse are also Corsair products.

A Great Headset Overshadowed by the Competition

This headset is a great example of something that should be very popular and everybody recommends, but gets overshadowed by the competition and almost forgotten about. Two examples of this are: It completely outclasses the Razer Nari by offering an extremely similar experience for about $50 less, and it weighs less than the Nari as well so it's not too bad for long gaming sessions. This headset is in the same price bracket as the HyperX Cloud II, and again has a very similar experience except the HS70 Pro is wireless where the HyperX Cloud II is wired, and yet everybody talks about the Cloud II instead.
What I like:
- soft leatherette earcups and headband
- small earcups so you don't look like a goof while wearing it
- detachable mic w/dedicated mute button on the headset
- easy to access and use volume wheel
- easy to adjust the headband to fit your head
- the earcups have a few degrees of swivel, allowing them to better fit your head
- 7.1 surround sound has excellent quality
- lots of custom sound adjustments in Corsair iCue
What I don't like or wish could be improved:
- Corsair iCue isn't the best software, not very refined (in my opinion)
- the USB adapter is fairly large
- the mic quality is pretty bad
- after a few hours of wearing this headset, my head becomes fatigued because while the materials are soft, there is not a lot of squishy padding

Bought these headphones because I was tired of cords. I went through several wired headphones that the jack's were malfunctioning and simply was tired of using a mic/speaker splitter - it never worked perfectly. These new wireless headphones are very comfortable. They hug my head and ears just right. Older headphones were pressing too hard on my ears and head dome and had to constantly take a break. The battery life has been very reliable so far but I'm not the type of person that uses them for more than a few hours a day. The mic is flexible and detachable which I really like. The sound is fantastic. Plug and play dongle!!!

Huge improvement over the HS-70 SE

I owned the HS-70 SE originally. I had the best buy to 2 year warranty and a couple weeks ago my SE's stopped charging. Traded in for the pros since they do not carry the SE anymore. The pros are a significant upgrade with the SE I used to get a weird popping noise once in awhile I have not noticed this on the pros. Also the range is much better with the SEs if I went out on my patio or to the bathroom The audio would cut out The pros are smooth as butter further away. If you own the SE or any previous model I would highly recommend upgrading to the pros. Oh also they are a little bit lighter and a little more comfortable.

I use these headphones regularly for music, gaming, and voice/video calls.
Pros:
-Roomy ear cups are comfortable and don't get very hot
-Wireless range is very good and audio quality stays good at range if it's still connected
-battery life is good, around 10-12 hours per charge
-Charges back up fast
-very solid sound quality for games and music. iCue app has custom EQ settings if that's your thing too
-Mic quality. No complaints from anyone on calls, also includes a foam mic cover.
-build quality feels very good. Looks and feels high-quality
-Works flawlessly with Windows and Linux
-Earcup controls are intuitive and work well
Cons:
-noise isolation isn't wonderful
-the head band can start to hurt after wearing for 3+ hours
Rant on the Corsair software (not a bad thing about the headphones themselves):
The iCue app sucks for headphones. It obviously wasn't made for headphones (RGB focus) and the controls in the app feel like an afterthought. The application is the only way to get EQ control, but it also makes my headphones randomly turn my mic on and off for the first 30 seconds they're on. The app's layout isn't intuitive and bizarrely splits the headphone settings into two places.

This is a solid mid tier headset. Much better than entry. Not a rockstar by any means. Fits comfy and not too tight. Mic is good quality. 7.1 surround is great for gaming. Sometimes mic has to be closer to mouth than I’d like. That could be Discord software too being weird not the mic. Battery life is great. Have 8 hour gaming sessions and still have about 45% battery. I charge when not using. Wireless adapter is good, more stable than Bluetooth, just have to use a USB port. Not sound distortion or drop off. Can walk out of room and still work. Overall solid headset for the price.

These headphones sound great. They are lightweight and the cups are big enough that they don't touch my ears, allowing for a comfortable experience over long periods of use. I like that the microphone is detachable since I don't use it all the time. Also, I use the Tackir Pro clipped on the left side, so the detachable mic is a plus in that regard. Haven't had any complaints about the mic sound quality. Good battery life - I use them about 2 hours per day and recharge once a week. I am very pleased with these headphones and the price is incredible for the quality.

Great headset, soft touch points to reduce fatigue, great sound quality, the mic can be moved around to adjust your volume, it has a volume control, power button, and mute button. Charges with micro usb. Good for gaming, you can hear the guy sneaking up behind you or know the location of nearby vehicles, etc. Battery life is very good, it beeps at you when it's getting low and can still be used while charging. It also looks nice with a leather type material on it.

At $100, the HS70 Pro is easily one of the best options at this budget price point.
- Build quality is pretty solid. Using a mix of metal and plastics. It feels more premium than it is.
- The design is very plain and professional. No ugly ""Gamer"" frills like eye searing colors or tasteless RGB to make it look gaudy.
- The comfort is quite good in my experience. The earcups are soft and plushy, but not thick to the point where it will make your ears uncomfortably warm. The headband as well is fine enough to make long wearing sessions no issue.
- Mic quality is not going to win any awards, but again, for the price it's more than acceptable if you plan to chat with friends on Discord and the like.
- Battery life is mediocre, but with the size constraints Corsair has to work with, there is not much that could be done. Though it is enough to get you through a long gaming session and then some.
- Sound quality out of the box is pretty balanced, all the other EQ presets you can pick from in iCue are not good at all.
