Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the K100 RGB keyboard's quality, RGB lighting, and key feel, frequently praising its smooth and responsive typing experience. Many appreciate the included wrist rest and the ease of customizing the lighting. While some find the software complex and the price high, the positive feedback on the keyboard's performance outweighs these concerns. The optical switches are also a frequently cited positive feature.

I've been using mechanical keyboards for a very long time, mainly for gaming. The OPX system is a love or hate for some people but for me, I transitioned from another Corsair product with Cherry Reds and the transition was weird at first but now I cannot live without it. The response time is amazing and with the ridiculous polling rate of the keyboard, don't blame the lag, blame the fat finger. RGB integration works great with other corsair products. Macro controls are a bit awkward at times, and you may press the G1 key instead of ESC for a bit until you get used to it. The wrist rest included with the product is fantastic, easily detachable and solved an issue I had with the K70 plastic wrist rest. It does get a bit dirty because of the material but it is very easy to clean. Not sure about the programable wheel, as I don't really use it for much but it is something you can mess around with for certain things. The audio wheel has a textured feel that I really like, and the media buttons has a good feel to them. Out of the box I liked the keys, but I opted to customize it with pudding caps that really brought out the RGB lighting for the keyboard. As a flagship high end product by Corsair, it has amazing handiwork, and it is sturdy as it comes, it is a solid piece of hardware. (Excuse me for the dust on the picture)

Really nice keyboard - undeniably the best keyboard I personally have ever used, aesthetically and functionally. I work on my computer all day and when I am not working I enjoy gaming and trading, so my hardware is under consistent daily use. That being said this keyboard feels extremely solid and well built. The wrist guard feels good, the keys feel good and overall the quality level is really high. The well thought out look and feel would be immediately noticed by anybody. In terms of work, it handles and feels great and I appreciate that it seems be to be quieter than other mechanical keyboards I have owned. As far as gaming, it feels good and has a fantastic response, I also enjoy the included textured keys for "WASD". I have been building my own PC's for years and this current build has many Corsair parts (RAM, Cooler, Case, Mouse) so I appreciate that all of various features and lighting effects can be managed under one software, being iCue, which makes for easy use and adjustment of the multiple features. So far in my experience there are no downsides to this keyboard with exception to the price. For a brand new build, $200 to allocate to the keyboard does not make much sense when I would think someone would prioritize funds towards CPU, MOBO, GPU, SSD or RAM - So overall, this is phenomenal keyboard and I am satisfied with what I paid with respect to its value and performance and also compared to what I know is available for under $100- I also believe it is for the customer looking for high end accessories to compliment an already complete high end build. I got this keyboard after friends suggested it and even donated money so I could afford it. It is so, so nice! The keys are super responsive, and since I have rheumatoid arthritis, the less effort to push the keys is amazing. I had enjoyed my previous low profile keyboard by Corsair, and while I still very much miss it (poor thing got its keys stuck in the middle), I am happy to have this keyboard. The new buttons - media dial + Steam Deck macro buttons - are going to take some getting used to, but I'm excited to learn and explore all the features. It's also super lightweight and super nice quality wise. It's also has the first Corsair wrist rest I've actually enjoyed, as this one is cushioned and soft. My only complaint is it is very long/large, but I expected that and made some space on my desk. All in all, it's super nice. I'm so happy friends helped me get it. I've put some stickers on it as my seal of approval! :)

The Corsair K100 RGB is an absolute beast of a keyboard! The OPX linear switches are insanely fast and smooth, making every keypress feel effortless—perfect for gaming and even typing. The RGB lighting is super vibrant and fully customizable, adding a great touch to any setup.

The Double PBT keys feel solid and responsive without the noise you'd expect from a very clacky key switch. The OPX switches feel amazing. The iCue software makes configuring the exact color scheme you're looking for easy and intuitive. If you're a streamer, the G keys on the left can actuate scene switches and various functions using the Elgato software. The wrist rest is magnetic and squishy and keep your wirst comfortable and non-sweaty. The Keyboard allows up to an 8000 polling rate if you really need that lightning fast response rate while you're gaming. The RBG is beautiful. Photos really don't do it justice. I highly recommend installing the slanted additional keys it comes with for your WASD keys as it gives your hand and brain a little extra tactile knowledge of the keys your fingers are resting on.

BEST BUY! LITERALLY! BUY IT NOW! To start off, I originally purchased this CORSAIR - K100 RGB Wired Gaming Optical-Mechanical OPX Switch Keyboard with Elgato Stream Deck Software Integration. Then, after reading some more reviews and specs for the Razer - Huntsman V2 Analog Wired Gaming Opto-Mechanical Keyboard with RGB Chroma Backlighting, I decided to give it a try. I ultimately returned the Razer - Huntsman V2 Analog Wired Gaming Opto-Mechanical Keyboard with RGB Chroma Backlighting to go back to this CORSAIR - K100 RGB Wired Gaming Optical-Mechanical OPX Switch Keyboard with Elgato Stream Deck Software Integration...it is just a much nicer, sturdier, and quality Gaming keyboard! This truly is the #1 Gaming Keyboard of 2021...still...even from 2020! The CORSAIR - K100 RGB Wired Gaming Optical-Mechanical OPX Switch Keyboard with Elgato Stream Deck Software Integration which is SIGNIFICANTLY brighter than other keyboards I have tried/used. Also Note: the CORSAIR - K100 RGB Wired Gaming Optical-Mechanical OPX Switch Keyboard with Elgato Stream Deck Software Integration has a polling rate of 4000 Hz! In fact, the Corsair iCUE software even allows it to be set at 8000 Hz! Now, I am not some paid or rewarded Corsair sponsor/supporter. I am merely providing facts regarding this choice so you may make your own decisions based on your own investigations and experiences. Do your homework!

As someone that uses the keyboard 10 hours a day for work, it's been great. I am typically a blue switch user and wanted something that was a little softer for the workplace that had macros. The iCUE software is complex but offers the user pretty much unlimited options and the ability to save a profile directly to the board itself and not need the software install to make use of the macros/rgb is such a godsend for a sysadmin who plugs into a lot of systems.

Absolutely stunning keyboard with a fast response time. I would argue almost too fast. The keyboard knows what I'm typing before I do. I upgraded from the K55 to the K100 and have no complaints, it is definitely a huge upgrade and the keys are surprisingly light and not very loud. My biggest concern with a keyboard is it not being loud, and it delivered. Most clicky keyboards turn me away, but the noise that does come from this keyboard is pleasant. I also like that it has an extra USB with it for me to connect my mouse directly, I used to struggle with my mouse getting stuck on things during gaming.

This keyboard screams quality with the all aluminum build and leatherette wrist rest. The G-Keys on the left work with Stream Deck app and allows you to add functionality to those keys, the wheel isn’t something I use so I can’t really say what it’s used for but it does have the ability to be assigned in the iCUE app as you please. If your suffer from small desk space or are just a minimalist this keyboard may be too much for you but for the enthusiasts who what’s the most, this is the keyboard for you.

This is such a beautiful RGB keyboard! Although it is a little pricey , I don't regret making this purchase! It is compatible with the ICUE software SCENES , and that is one of the main reason I got all my PC accessories corsair , so that I would be able to control all my RGB lightings with one software controller , and man this keyboard has amazed me. It also has the side G keys to create custom key binds and macros , you can set the keys to type a certain phrase or to open up a program! Ive also read that OPX Linear Switch is a little faster that Cherry MX Reds , but this one was on a discount for less that the Cherry MX Reds verson so I went with the OPX Linear Switch! The keys feel so soft when pressing down and the reaction time is amazing aswell!

I really like this keyboard. The keys are very responsive, the lighting is on point like most Corsair keyboards. The cushioned wrist rest is something I never knew I needed, but it's fantastic. I haven't really messed with the jog wheel yet but I do plan to eventually.

This keyboard is one of the best things to touch you’re fingertips. The key caps are a bit smaller than my old Corsair k60 but I got used to them very quickly and the linear switches (which are lubed by the way) feel fantastic to click. They’re responsive, are textured beautifully, and have a very sleek bold style font. The build quality is solid and the memory foam wrist pad feels wonderful; a Tempur-pedic for your hands. Overall, if you’re willing to fork over the cash, it is an amazing buy.

Everything i wanted in a keyboard. Has TONS of customization and different tools to make your keyboard do exactly what you want. I love the lighting. The responsivness of the keys in insane! They boast a 1mm activation of keys. They were not kidding! Simply resting my hand on the keyboard and i find myself hitting buttoms on accident. Not a down side by any means. Worth the price. And if you have multipule corsair devices, you can link them all together for a spectacular light show if desired.

Pretty solid and durable! The sound and keys are mechanical so it feels comfy and smooth. It’s my first time so it’s a little sensitive to me. The wire is a little big and bulky built. The color changing thing was cool, so many features or options to customize. Pricey but matches the quality. Hope to use it for long.

OPX version currently has a software issue that causes it to freeze up entirely including the RGB and the only fix is to unplug it and plug it back in which obviously isn't ideal if you are doing anything important or even gaming. None of the reviews talk about this and people don't find out about it until after they bought it, the cherry mx speed one does not have this issue currently. Other than that the rgb is very nice and the physical build quality is very good.

Upgraded from another fantastic keyboard in the Corsair lineup the K95. Unfortunately after almost 2 years of light usage the wrist rest on the K95 started to peel in one spot. Luckily for me I purchased the 2-year protection for it and decided to get it replaced. Went to BB and saw the K100 had a different type of material for its wrist rest. A bit more expensive but went with the upgrade and don’t regret it! Both are superb keyboards that are beautiful and well-built in my opinion.
