RGB? Check! But, it's zone only. That's okay. You still have back lighting. You still have macro keys. You have some media controls. It's quiet. It's cheap, but doesn't look for feel it. It's Corsair. How can you go wrong with it?

Solid membrane gaming keyboard. The RGB is in three zones, rather than per key, but for the price, it's not bad. From what I understand, the new K55 has per key RGB now, so that's pretty cool. The dedicated media keys at this price point is great. I've got it paired with a Corsair Harpoon mouse on a secondary machine my kid uses and he loves them both.

A very basic no frills RGB keyboard. Originally purchased for a spare, I began having issues hitting the CTRL key while typing on an old Steel series KB and would open up browser history, new tabs etc which was quite annoying. The Corsair line gives me enough lift under the backside for me to type without accidentally hitting the CTRL key while typing. Another good feature is the soft keypress of the keys that has greatly reduced hand fatigue as well. A good value for the cost which isnt out of bounds. I also like the ICUE software over Steel Series or Razer function software, neither of which seem to work well under certain circumstances with Windows. Even low cost as it is, it seems well built and sturdy while not weighing several pounds, also lending to the kb being sturdy on table surface - doesnt scoot at all no matter what. Has a cheap plastic wrist rest but it works very nicely.

Looks and feels like a high quality mechanical keyboard without the hefty pricetag... has multiple color combinations, or 1 solid color to match your setup... very easy to type... I love the music feature on the top of the keyboard that allows you to pause, play, skip songs, etc... Works out great! Definitely would recommend!

Hi, so I did a lot of research when looking for a keyboard and I stumbled across this awesome deal here by Corsair. So this Keyboard is definitely rigged for gaming, although it's not the best thing on the market, if you're looking for something REALLY great. And is perfect for learning how to use a keyboard and hotkeys to game or just something that feels nice and makes your room stand out with the custom LED's. Then this Keyboard is for you. I literally love it and I'm a average gamer on PC. - it comes with all of the cords plus instructions on how to customize the LED lights. As well as a few other items in the box. Also, the keyboard seems really durable, I haven't tested that, but from the looks of it. It definitely seems like it could take a few scuffs if necessary. I hope the review helped, have a great day! #ThanksCorsair

I didn't purchase this keyboard for the sole reason of a gaming keyboard, more so for the key backlighting and feel of the keys. Although, my grandson does use it for gaming on my PC. Being an old school FPS gamer I have tried it out on a few games and I'm impressed with it. As mentioned above, I purchased it mainly for the backlighting and feel of the keys. It has quite a few options for lighting, all are impressive. I do like the option of being able to turn the lighting off to extend the life of the lighting. Typing on it does remind me of the old mechanical keyboards of my younger days, which I do enjoy. The multimedia keys are a plus, along with the macro keys and the nice palm rest. I would purchase this again over the other name brands that are a much higher price for basically the same thing. Unless you want a true mechanical keyboard.

The Corsair K55 is a solid budget keyboard. Pros- The keys have good feedback. While it doesn't have the click that a mechanical keyboard provides, there's very little squishiness to the keys. The key underlighting is vibrant and the zones and brightness are easily configurable. It's a sturdy build. The keyboard is surprisingly heavy and has a textured clip on wrist rest that connects strongly and does what it's supposed to. Plug and play, easy to just plug in and start using Cons- On my particular keyboard the lighting in the far right 'zone' has a faint flicker. It doesn't affect me so much because I don't use the back lighting, but it is an issue all the same. The texture on the wrist rest is a bit rough. If you have long keyboarding sessions and have poor typing posture, it has a tendency to rub sore spots on the wrists. The keys feel cheap. It's an untextured hard plastic that reminds me of cheap keyboards that come with prebuild pcs from big box stores. The space bar in particular is quite wobbly. Overall, you get what you pay for. It's a solid keyboard at the price point. Would absolutely recommend to anyone that needs an entry level gaming keyboard or a high quality spare.

I think that for the sale price, its very nice quality. While membrane keys aren't as popular as mechanical, it has a similar clicky quality to mechanical keys. I also really like the lights and wrist rests. I wish that each key could be programmable like have WASD keys light up a different color but otherwise its very good.

When I was looking to upgrade from my Walmart special (to be fair, not a bad keyboard) keyboard I knew I wanted it to be an RGB. However, I'm not a terribly big fan of mechanical keyboards as I find them to be too noisy when typing for long periods or playing virtually any game. So I started looking at the different offerings that my local BestBuy had. Granted, I think they are undergoing a renovation or something so they didn't really have a large array of products, but the Corsair K55 caught my eye. It wasn't mechanical and it was RGB! And the feel of the keys was amazing to me. I knew this had to be the one i upgraded to and I honestly haven't looked back since! I love it and it works excellently. You can even program the colors so that was a bonus as I wanted to make it fall into my gaming setup's color scheme. As usual, Corsair made a great product that not only fit my needs but it also outshines most other RGB keyboards at a similar price range. I highly recommend this product.

I went back and forth from I want a mechanical keyboard, and I I don't want the clicker sound that comes with the keyboard. This is it mechanical feeling without the annoying click. The RGB is super nice and can be customized to change in different cycles like pulse to suttle changes through the RGB color spectrum. You can even customize 1/3 of the keyboard in different colors example green/blue/green. The media controls are really convienient didn't know I needed them until now very handy. This keyboard even has Macros to customize quick keys for games haven't used them yet but a cool option to have. In summation nice feeling click no sound, very customizable keys and RGB control. A great looking feeling keyboard that would easily set you back $100 for half the price.

Great keyboard. If you want a fun light up keyboard that changes color in a dope wave format and types like you're the next h4ckerman then go for it; that's what I did and I can honestly say I regret nothing and am the 2nd coolest type of person on earth. There are also 6 macrokeys that do whatever you want them to do, which is really useful. That being said, if you've seen videos of people putting really cool custom lighting settings on their keyboard, those settings aren't accessible for this one (but they are for the more expensive models). Those people are the coolest type of people on earth. Still, as much as I wish there was something technical that sold me, it's a fun rainbow keyboard and I'm having a blast with it

I've always had good luck with Corsair products, and this one's no different. The assignable keys are a nice touch, even if setting them up takes some effort. As a bonus, it features iCue, meaning your other compatible Corsair products will sync right up with it. At this price, that's awesome! You also get media keys and can turn the lighting off with a dedicated button. I was looking for a quiet gaming keyboard that was still well made, and didn't want to spend over $100 (I see that as overkill). This one ticked all the boxes, and has been great for typing and gaming. It has a very nice feel, and the colors are customizable, so whatever you have going on with your gaming rig, it'll match. Seriously, if you want a decent gaming keyboard that isn't bad quality, but not overpriced either, this is it!

I don't write reviews often but I was compelled to do so for this keyboard. A lot of people are fans of Cherry MX keyboards, my self included, but you really have to try this out. The feel of the keystrokes is great and the sound is still satisfying. As far as build quality even though it is mostly plastic it still feels extremely well put together. I love the fact that this keyboard also comes with Macro keys! The RGB as well is really well done, even though it does bleed out from underneath it's not overwhelming at all. Honestly I didn't have high expectations when I made this purchase (as I did very little research) but I have to say it's nice to be surprised in a good way for once!

This is the perfect keyboard for someone looking for some different coloured backlighting and a few extra keys to remap. At such a low price, one cannot expect all the bells and whistles to be present but this board gets the job done. The keys respond very well and are not as clicky as other mechanical keyboards and it supports a full num pad which is really nice. The onboard media buttons work great as does the windows lock key. The board supports a few basic colours and three zones that can be customized in any order. Overall a great keyboard.

Corsair makes this K55 Gaming RGB keyboard that is perfect for entry level gamers. It is a fully mechanical keyboard with soft click keys and short key travel. These features alone make it the best all around buy for the price. RGB lighting throughout the whole keyboard allows you to set up zones or pick from any color in the windows color wheel as your backlighting and letter/number color. The only feature this version doesn't have that the next level Corsair offers is USB support off the keyboard but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. All in all, this is a well built, durable keyboard that can tackle any project. I personally play Fortnite with it and it performs flawlessly.
