Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the keyboard's compact size, customizable RGB lighting, and high-quality keycaps, with many praising the satisfying key feel and sound. However, some customers expressed concerns about the relatively high price and occasional software issues. The premium PBT double-shot keycaps and fast response time were also frequently highlighted as positive aspects. A few users found the high polling rate unnecessary for their needs.

One of the better 60% boards I've tried

I honestly wasn't expecting to like this keyboard that much when I picked it up and its been a while since I've had a Corsair board. I'm happy to report while not perfect or enthusiast-grade it's still pretty solid and works great. Unboxing/setup: In the box you get just the keyboard, extra keycaps for customization, and a keycap remover. It's just simple. This keyboard has RGB and you can tweak it right away using FN+ the various commands that are printed on the side of the keycaps. If you wish you can get more in depth by installing iCUE which is one of the better software's for keyboards. Design: You can get this in a couple different colorways (most common being black and white) and it looks very clean. The font on the keycaps (which are PBT and feel great) is very basic and doesn't look "gamery" which is appreciated. The cable that plugs in is USB-C but sadly it's positioned right smack in the middle so its harder to get out the way. You also sadly don't get any angle adjustment on this board so it's one size fits all. Lastly the 60% layout fits very well on my tiny desk which is one of the main reasons I picked it up. Switches & performance: The star of this keyboard are the Cherry MX Speed switches, and now while these are a bit outdated these days they still feel great. I feel sooo good and accurate typing on this on this board. For gaming they also actuate quite fast so it makes for a excellent experience in FPS games. You also get the option of 8K polling in this keyboard if you want that extra responsiveness and your PC can handle it. Other notes: - The settings and RGB can save directly to the board - The RGB can look a bit off especially on the spacebar if you're using white colors - There is a windows lock key which comes in clutch In conclusion this is one of the better keyboards I've recently tried, and while its a bit older now I can still recommend it if you're in the market for a 60%. Pros: * Form factor * Build quality * Switches * Performance * Great for both typing and gaming Cons: * No feet adjustments or angle tuning * A bit dated in 2024

    My favorite keyboard so far!

I didn't have high hopes for this keyboard. I got it on sale so I went for it. We have several PCs and I have a Razer mini which I liked and I was planning on getting a 2nd. I'm glad I got this instead. The Keyboard feels more substantial in that is has more heft, frame feels sturdier. The Lighting on this Corsair is far superior to the Razer. My razer huntsman mini has the purple optical keys which I definitely like and they're clicky while the Corsair has a more linear switch. The feel is world's different. The Corsair has a solid feeling with every keypress while the Razer feels very sloppy in comparison. The Razer is much louder which doesn't bother me but after using the Corsair, the huntsman just feels and sounds cheap. The Razer makes a clackety rattling sound while the Corsair has a solid feel of a more premium keyboard. I'm not sure what the caps are made of on the Corsair but they feel much nicer and of higher quality than the Razer which uses the Razer pbt caps which aren't bad, just not as nice as the Corsair. We have many keyboards, all mechanical keyboards common on the market in the $100-200 range from Steelseries, Ducky, Asus, plus the Corsair and a few Razer boards. I prefer this Corsair over all of them. I don't love the mini size. It's good for a hardcore gamer, but I have space for a full size and I plan to get a full size Corsair with these same switches. If you have kids that make alot of noise banging on mechanical gaming keyboards, this is a good one to get that won't give up performance yet isn't half as loud as the other mechanical keyboards I've had here.

    Great, But Late

This keyboard has everything you love and expect in a gaming keyboard. Great switches, RGB, and application support with plenty more features. I think it's a great keyboard but it's too late of an addition from Corsair. The main reason why I got this was that it was local and in stock, I didn't want to wait for delivery from another retailer so I selected curbside pickup. The 60% keyboard that I've owned for years recently started giving me problems (caps key stopped working, RGB stopped working, etc), and rather than wait, and essentially not have a keyboard, I got this. Also, I'd like to point out that the software that powers the keyboard, iCUE, is very confusing. I have never spent so much time trying to understand UI before (and I am a UI designer/developer!) and I really wasn't interested in watching 20-minute tutorials on YouTube. It should be easy to understand right out of the box. There was definitely a learning curve, and I feel like I haven't even unlocked a quarter of its capabilities. Typing feels great and I feel like my keystrokes are initialized sooner compared to my old keyboard. Sometimes my old keyboard would register a keystroke 1s-3s late. Although it's been mentioned by other YouTubers that its response time is overkill and the iCUE software can ramp up your computer, I personally have not noticed. I'm also not too much of a fan of their font choice, for some of the keys I actually swapped them out with my old keyboard. But I will admit, even with my last keyboard some of the letters were questionable given their font choice also. I definitely like Corsair's design on the spacebar. They give you a spare spacebar in case you do not like it but I personally love it. When compared to my last keyboard these keys are raised higher, meaning you get more light bleeding out. It's something I'm undecided about, but if you want a brighter keyboard than most, maybe this one is for you. Don't get me wrong it's a great 60% keyboard however, there are many on the market that came five or more years before the K65 that have built a fanbase behind their brands. They are cheaper, usually a lot cheaper. And their software tends to be better. The K65 is great but late.

Exactly what I was Looking For

I really enjoy this keyboard. I purchased this keyboard because I’ve been playing a lot of Valorant which requires tons of mouse movement. My 100% keyboard was preventing me from having all the space I needed to move my arm and wrist around. I read reviews saying this keyboard is quiet. Yes, it can be if you’re playing a game like Valorant. However, when you’re spamming keys, like typing, it’s rather loud. My HyperX QuadCast S picks up on the noise of my typing even on the lowest of settings. I do have my mic rather close to my keyboard. Less than a foot away, so maybe that’s the issue. Nonetheless I really like this keyboard. I love that it came with an extra spacebar so that you may choose the style you like. It also comes with a tool that is used to remove the keys. Using the tool, I was impressed with how easy the keys came off. The RGB (lighting) on the keyboard is spectacular and the amount of settings options of how much you can do to personalize the lighting is impressive.

10/10 KEYBOARDD! I love it so much, I use this for my little daily commute and gaming. It's clicky, and it just makes that perfect sound. Pleasing to the ears, all my friends ask, "hey! what keyboard is that?" when they hear it because it's just so amazing. This 60% keyboard is the best keyboard available, very small and easy to fit on my desk. It has amazing response time because it is wired as well.

I’ve been wanting a 60% with silver speeds for awhile but since I main gta, I usually have to use a full size. I was able to pick this up on sale recently and I couldn’t be happier with it. The switches are smooth as butter and the key caps might be the nicest key caps I’ve ever had on a board. Outside of the frame I rate this over our ducky one 2 mecha w/ cherry red switches and durgod 60% with red gateron’s.

The search for the ultimate gaming keyboard continues. I am an avid fps gamer and I am constantly looking for the fastest devices. Ultimately I had to return this keyboard because the silver speed switches kept accidentally activated. The low 1.2 mm pre travel is great for faster response time. The main issue is the space bar. I would be randomly jumping in gunfights. Pros RGB and Software. Brightest RGB I have ever seen on a keyboard. Software is easy to work with. You can use clear keycaps like some from whirlwindfx lightcaps. You can have different profiles and colors. I was able to make color profiles of my favorite keycaps. Really great feature! Fast gaming response- I compared to other 1000 Hz keyboards, and this thing was faster than all of them. All great things but there are some downsides. Fully swappable keycaps- unlike other brands propriety front row design that prevent a user from replacing the keycaps Cons The fastest response time does slow down your computer a hair. FPS gamers need the highest fps for quicker reaction time. In the end I felt like the 8000Hz isn't really that faster than a 1000Hz keyboard. The speed was more fast due to the mechanical silver speed switches. Silver speed switches caused accidental space bar hits. May be resolved if you use a keyboard wrist support or buy the red switches, which are not available at Bestbuy unfortunately. Worst Keycap puller that scratches your keycaps, seriously Corsair? Not Hot swappable All in all it's a great keyboard but for the price I expected a lower profile front row and the option to buy the red switches or make the keyboard hotswappable. The 8000Hz polling rate is just a gimmick I feel like any 1000Hz is good enough. Most pro gamers have used them for ages now. It will not make you any better. I would price this keyboard at $80 dollars. There are better options for the price. Epomaker, Keychron, Ducky, Varmillo. Don't believe the hype.

Very satisfied with this purchase. The rgb is really nice and since I have mostly Corsair components it’s all found in the icue software. There’s lots of different effects that can be stacked on the other. The keys did take some getting used to since the keystroke is closer to the top meaning it doesn’t push down as much as other mechanical keyboards I guess that’s why the switch has speed in it. Easy enough to adjust to it and since it’s only 60% it doesn’t take as much space tho it has a lot of different functions available with Fn.

I'm a fast reader and skip over many things I read, so when this keyboard came in I was a little disappointed with myself for purchasing a small keyboard. Turns out it was one of the best purchases I made for my PC. The size is great and compact, the iCUE is super easy to use and customizable, and the speed and feel of the keyboard is top notch.

I absolutely love this keyboard. The keycaps are so clickyyyyyyy. First mechanical keyboard and it is a bit strange getting used to a 60% but I am really enjoying it. I play games like valorant and having an instant ibput is very important. This is big ups for Corsair for me and my first product by them!

This is my first Corsair keyboard and definitely won’t be my last. I previously owned 2 Logitech and 1 Razer, both of which had tactile/clicky switches. I wanted something a bit quieter and faster. The K65 did not disappoint. Also, Corsair’s RGB lighting is the best and always has been. It’s no wonder why all 8 of my case fans are Corsair (and my cpu liquid cooler). My only gripe is the iCUE software has stopped launching on boot since adding the K65 to my profile. But that’s most likely a bug that they are aware of and are actively trying to fix.
