This keyboard is great for everyday use as well as gaming. The clicky-ness is good and the feel of the keys are great. The keys are quite sensitive, but not too sensitive. The lighting options are great too. Got on sale, so very happy with the price as well. The only issue I have is with the keyboard chord. It is quite stiff for packing/coiling purposes. I suppose it would not be much of an issue if I didn't need to pack up as well.

Upgraded to this K70from a CORSAIR STRAFE with Cherry Red switches. The brown switches on this keyboard are nice and soft but still have the same tactile feedback you expect from a mechanical and a less intrusive sound. The low profile is great on the wrists and fingers and of course you can’t beat the RGB. Media bar and rolling volume control is a nice touch as well. Perfect keyboard all around this keyboard while you can.

I purchased this keyboard looking for something with mechanical keys for gaming, but also something that I could type on easily. For typing, I have always been used to laptop keyboards or smaller, chiclet style keyboards where the keys were short and the was not a whole lot of travel in the key switch. I enjoyed the feel of a traditional mechanical keyboard for gaming, but I could not type on it nearly as fast as I can on a laptop or chiclet style keyboard such as the Apple Magic Keyboard or the Microsoft Surface Keyboard. This keyboard, in my opinion, strikes a perfect balance between the two. The build quality feels very premium, as it should for keyboards of this price. The MX Speed switches are very easy to press, and feel very sturdy. The key caps have the perfect amount of curve in them that cradle your fingers while typing, but not too much to where you can still type quickly, if that makes sense. The RBG lighting is bright and vivid and can be controlled using Corsair's iCUE software. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase, and I definitely recommend trying it out. If you're looking for something that feels a little closer to a laptop keyboard or chiclet style keyboard that still has a great feel and response for gaming, the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile does not disappoint.

This keyboard is fantastic. With so many keyboards out there it's hard to choose. I wanted Corsair since I had just bought a Corsair PC, so got this along with their Virtuoso wireless headphones. The keyboard rocks! I picked the low profile because my desk has a keyboard rollout drawer with limited space. It's perfect. The lighting is amazing and key travel is terrific.

I love this Keyboard, the keys are easy enough to remove with the included key puller. The face of the keyboard is a met and very durable feeling. The included wrist pad isnt really noticeable; I'd suggest upgrading to a padded one instead of the included plastic one. The keys are responsive and also comes with extra WASDQERTFG keys that are textured, grey, and ergonomically shaped for gaming.

Been a big fan of Corsair keyboards for a long time and this low profile KB is my new fav. If you are looking for a low profile keyboard that's going to last, look no further. Corsair are always about quality with their keyboards, especially when it comes to the K70. Even with big hands, typing on a low profile keyboard with keys that are meant more for gaming than typing, it is very nice. I got the Rapidfire, and typing is fine for me. and as always a nice threaded cable is attached to it.

    Great Keyboard, great RGB effects

First off, the Cherry RapidFire switches takes some getting use to if you're going to use this keyboard for any typing. I also use my gaming setup (keyboard & monitor) as an extension from my work laptop when I work from home. The keys actuate very soon, after depressing a short amount. That said, the regular Chery MX low-profile switches activate after only 1.2mm key press and these RapidFire after 1.0mm, but non the less there is a learning curve to use these since a fat-finger will cause extra characters to be typed. That out of the way the quick key strokes is great for gaming, being that you barely have to push a key for it to actuate as a key stroke! And the individually addressable RGB makes for some dang good looking iCue profiles (there are SEVERAL custom ones made online by them iCue experts out there you can download.) The quality is great, the low-profile just feels right without the keys or keyboard itself seeming too bulky, and the pass-thru USB on the back is very handy. Overall I am very pleased with this. My only change would be some low-profile switches that actuate not quite so fast. Good job on this one Corsair. I seem to be slowly changing everything on my set-up to Corsair, and can't be happier about it!

So far I'm really enjoying this keyboard. I specifically got the low profile keyboard due to how my hands naturally rest on a keyboard. The individual key lighting is pretty awesome if you use iCUE to setup a custom RGB profile. I use KeyStroke. And I really like the volume rocker in lieu of button to control volume. It also has the ability to store 3 custom lighting profiles. These profiles will change ANY component recognized by iCUE even while it's not running. Meaning my Corsair Dominator RAM, Motherboard, Corsair Mouse, Keyboard will all sync based on the stored profile on the keyboard. Pretty cool. Love the keystroke travel distance, which gives a great tactile typing feel. The only complaint I have about the keys is how sensitive they are. Literally resting your fingers on any key will cause them to trigger. But this is a "Rapid Fire" keyboard, so if that's what you're looking for, this keyboard will be perfect for you. Other than that, I'm really liking it!

This is a very nice keyboard. The low profile keys are helpful coming from using laptops all the time. It is sturdy and well-made and the keys sound nice. They are not clicky but have a good mechanical feel. The RGB color is even. The font is bigger than average which is nice as well. The USB cable is very hefty. Nothing feels cheap about it.

Good upgrade from an older keyboard. The keys are very sensitive so any pressure from your hand will register. Lights on the keys are customizable and just the keyboard itself is very good quality. One thing that I don’t recommend about the keyboard is the optional Corsair ICUE program. This being that it really slows your system down and takes more CPU usage than a light controlling program should. But no fear you don’t have to download it as the keyboard has several lighting options already built in. Got mine on sale $99

Really nice build. Sturdy, won’t collapse at all, and the switches are very smooth. Maybe not for everyone, as it uses speed silver key switches by Corsair. Definitely do research on what key switches will be best for you, but I really like it. It is more expensive, but if you can catch it on sale, I would buy it.

Never thought I would love a mech keyboard

I wasn't sure what was the hype about mechanical keyboards in general, and this one in particular. The last time I used a mechanical keyboard was when I used to work on an IBM 5250 system, and when laptops and membrane keyboards came out, I thought I'm never going to go back to a mech keyboard. I loved the soft keypads of a laptop, so it was with much skepticism that I got this as part of a gaming pc I was building for the kids - because, well RGB :) Anyway, a few seconds of typing away on this, and I have changed my opinion. Its a little bit more noisy than a laptop, I grant you that, but not by much. It has a soft feel, and wont give you carpal tunnel the way the mechanical keyboards of old did. It feels lovely typing on this. Also changed my mind on the RGP, which I thought was a terrible idea. Its not. Its really cool really.

The Best Keyboard I Have Ever Owned!

This keyboard is a dream to use. The low profile is very attractive to look at, and the black, brushed aluminum has a very sleek, professional look and feel to it. This keyboard is no lightweight either. It's just heavy enough to feel expensive and stay in place despite some pretty fast gaming. The keys are very quite, and the only way you hear them is if you bottom out while typing. Given enough practice you can learn to type by just applying slight pressure, making the keyboard almost whisper quiet. The tactile report of the keys is very smooth. There is no click like on regular mechanical keyboards, at least not for the Speed Switch. There are legs under the board, but they tilt it up just the slightest. If you like a higher angle you won't get it with this board. The wrist rest is hard, textured plastic. The texture feels odd at first, but it prevents your hands from slipping around. Since the board almost lies flat you don't even really need it. The RGB lighting is wonderful and programmable to the nth degree using iCUE. I am so very pleased that I purchased this keyboard! Corsiar has lived up to it's name in high quality products!

I have owned multiple Corsair keyboards and this is by far my favorite. The metal casing has great weight and feel. The customizable colors are awesome through the iCue app. The keys took a little getting used to because they’re so shallow but they have a great feel.

Love this keyboard. I am not a fan of full size keys so the low profile ones are perfect for me. Keyboard is easy enough to setup and use, simply plug and play. The lighting software on the other hand is a little cumbersome and I think Corsair could do with some clean up and simplification in the iCue software. Overall the physical product itself has been great with no issues.

The problem I had with other cherry MX boards is fixed here, the space bar and the stabilizer's have almost no wobble. The actuation is crazy low and the keys feel nice and clacky very smooth. The back plate has a nice textured finish but it does like to hold dust to it so be prepared to clean off the board more often. The media controls are nicely raised compared to the original version of a k70, it has onboard memory to save profiles and is great for gaming and typing the other thing I could ding this board on is the wrist rest it's hard and if you have bigger hands pretty much useless the spare keys included aren't sized right either they are taller then all the other caps making it feel odd other then just being re textured. The board has zero flex and oozes quality.

Got it on sale, so it was worth it. I was specifically looking for a low-profile keyboard due to my familiarity with laptop gaming. I can rest my fingers on the keys without triggering it, but I am having a bit of an issue catching the corners of keys and getting extra presses that way. I was hoping for something quick and quiet, and for the most part it is. Bottoming out the keys is fairly loud however, and the space bar has a traditional key-click noise about half of the time. It's probably just loose somehow, and I might take it off and try to adjust it. They keys have a subtle soft texture. The space bar and the included extra w, a, s, and d have a more pronounced texture that is accurately depicted in the product photos. It's not bad, I'm rather indifferent to it tbh. The wrist rest is a harder plastic similar to the keys, and while it serves its purpose, I wish it had some sort of cushion because I'm already sore. It clips on nicely though. I haven't installed the software yet (waiting on pc parts for a new build, you know which ones haha), but it works right out of the box with all it's rainbow vomit glory. At least there's a button for that! I haven't looked much into replacement keys. That's a problem for future me. At $89 on sale, I can't complain. This keyboard feels like it will last.
